Burning Down the Gates of Konohagakure Empty Burning Down the Gates of Konohagakure

Mon Jan 04, 2016 10:28 pm

Kasai looked up at the large gates that stood before him. With his chakra sensing on, he knew no one --unless they were using the skill to hide their chakra, in which case they must have somehow known that an enemy was at the gate-- was near. He sighed softly to himself.

"And the sun sets on the Village of Fire for one last time," he said, quietly, the everlasting light glow emitting from his body.

Reaching to his chest, Kasai slowly slid the mask that rested there up to his face, wearing it as a mask should be worn; as it had not been worn for many years. It still fit surprisingly well for how long it had been. Next, Kasai adjusted the scroll on his back and the sword at his side, as he felt he would use them both in this battle. If there was a battle, of course, and Kasai truly hoped there would be.

Not so that blood could be shed, no. He in fact would go out of his way to ensure that no one would die in his final act. But he hoped there would be an attack, a resistance, to prove him wrong. He wanted these Shinobi to come and meet him, and better, to beat him. For the past few years, it had been all Kasai wanted. For the ninja of Konohagakure to prove to him that the Will of Fire was not still a legend, but a reality.

The last time he had heard of the Will of Fire existing in a Shinobi, it had been Jason, the Hokage, talking about Kasai himself. He had seen Kasai's devotion to the Village Hidden in the Leaf as so much so that not only was he willing to die for the village, but that he planned on it.

His eyes gazing through the mask, Kasai slowly raised his hands to his chest. It looked as if he were about to pray, and perhaps he was, as his eyes closed.

As his fingers began to cross, Kasai wondered who it would be. Yensung would come, he knew that. He could feel it. But who else? Salzem had left the village, as any wise one would do. Risako seemed to have disappeared. And Tatsuya...well, Tatsuya was standing beside him, or would be shortly.

Slowly, one finger crossed the other.

Ever since he had been small, Kasai had wanted the best for the village. He had always wanted to guard it, and to defend it with his life. Yet, he had seen the world, and the cruelty it could have, and he could no longer see in light that he had before. He had watched many Hokage's come and go, but through them all, one thing had remained the same, and that was the lack of strength. It had first disturbed Kasai, but after a missing ninja had walked in the village with no one stopping him, and then killed a small ten year old boy just to steal his eyes, and then left as easily as he had come, with the only person trying to stop him being Kasai. That had changed his world, and suddenly, the large gates that he now stood at, with the noon-day's rays dancing across its surface had suddenly seemed so very far from safe and protective.

He had left the village for a while then, and gone to Youka once more; the demon that had first showed him just what the world outside was. He had spent a long time then thinking about it, and at last, he had come to a resolution. The only way there was left for him to protect Konoha was to ensure he left it in better hands than it had been in when he had become a Shinobi, and there was only one way to do that.

The hand sign completed, and a large column of fire shot forth, with the head of a dragon at its front, heading directly towards the gate of Konoha, and grazing the ground as it went, leaving a trail of smoke and lingering fire. (50 base speed and power, +20 from having 100 chakra (75 base, +25 from Bo) + 5 from child of the sun skill, and +25 from ape scroll. Therefore, 100 speed and 100 power total.)

That one way was to attack Konohagakure, and force the shinobi within to rise up, and fight back, or destroyed. He wanted them to fight back, and to learn as they did so. To learn to defend themselves, so that they might be able to better defend their village....his village too.

And if they could defend themselves so well that they were able to stop him, and to push him out, then they would have succeeded.

He wanted them to defeat him. Perhaps even kill him this day, to prove that they had succeeded.

In fact, he was planning on it.

(Now, before anyone goes bonkers, and alerts the world that I'm attacking Konoha, no, technically speaking this isn't what would be considered a "legitimate attack". It's a story! (*gasp* a what?) I've already talked to everyone who'll be involved, I'm not trying to take over Konoha, and the only death that I plan to occur in this topic would be my own, so please, Viper, if you're watching, don't send in an army. This is for the good ol' character development and story, like (I think) the mods would approve of. And, also, this isn't totally out of the blue, it's been a building up.
Just felt like I should attach a disclaimer, so that no one sees "attacking konoha" and thinks "oh no, not another".
But, like a true battle, while I don't plan on anyone else dying, it's still a battle, and people can still die.)

Burning Down the Gates of Konohagakure Empty Re: Burning Down the Gates of Konohagakure

It day was clear with only a few clouds in the sky. Tatsuya stands outside the village gates near to his friend. He is masked by the darkness that is created between the many trees around him and the sun which cause for thick expansive shadows. The trees were many and thus much of the land was covered by a web of black with light coming thought only in a few arias. As well the tall wall surrounded the village created shadows that run deep into the village. Tatsuya knew that he could take most ninja as long as he had shadows and he knew that there would always be shadows as long he had Kasai next to him.

The attack that was soon to commence had gone under much thought and tense conversation with Kasai. Tatsuya for a long wile was against the idea but over time was convinced other wise. He thought that by engaging each ninja would make the village stronger. This was true however it was not something that Tatsuya had the time for or even had the motivation to do so.
He had been in the village a very long time and it was time to leave. Leave to not return for a very long time. Thinking on this Tatsuya didnt really know where he wanted to go but maybe that was for the best. He wanted to see where the wind would take him and Kasai.

Brining him self back to the situation on hand Tatsuya activates his chakra suppression to help keep the attack on the down low until it was finally time. Standing next to his comrade he waits for the words to be given.

"I am ready when you are." Tatsuya says in a whisper

In that moment fire springs form Kasai that will soon bring down the villages gates. The attack begins and Tatsuya activates his Hyper Seismic Sense which allows him to see anything and anyone. Wile it would not increase his reaction time (nor decrease it) it would let Tatsuya know how may ninja were approaching and thus could respond appropriately. As well he is also able to give this information to Kasai. Once people were in range Tatsuya would then be able to switch to chakra sensory to see how powerful the ninja would be.

In the shadows of trees Tatsuya waits on guard for people to approach.

Burning Down the Gates of Konohagakure Empty Re: Burning Down the Gates of Konohagakure

Mon Jan 04, 2016 11:29 pm
Yen felt the sun set as the glory of the lights fell upon the village. A simple walk of course his burned straw hat resting on his head as his covered remains of what was his left eye was a fresh set of bandages. The evening breeze picked up as it was gentle almost soothing like a lulliby. The day long and eternal as almost as eternal was the night to come. Yet the sunset vivid and scarlet like a spectrum of colors dancing through the sky yen had to smile as he enjoyed it. One would pay little mind as he would take note that his work was nearly done just to set up dinner at home for the wife and his new borns. to think that it's rare I take a moment to admire the sunset. Perhaps hota shall enjoy an evening stroll with me. Moonlight dinners hard to come by. Yet when they can walk tradition shall come to them.

Yen chuckled as he felt into his pocket the smooth feeling of his soul amethyst staying close and near. Yet for yen something stopped him for a moment. Was it the wind? No the humming of his insects as they hummed a tune yet his one good eye noted it in the distance. A colom of smoke from the gate. genin trying to learn fire jutsu about nearly a mile away.... Maybe a little rain outta help it out for certain I'll rather conserve others chakra and the water for the morning. Close to half a mile got it. I'll be home soon my wife and children stay tight. yen thought as he as quickly as he could approached the  gates his large chakra ammount flowing throughout his body in full force as he investigated the idea of that which caused the smoke.

Yet the aburame head noted as he traveled across the village the hushed whispers as despite his speed slow it enabled him to gain an idea of the shocked faces as he was enclosing the area. The sight of burned buildings and charred paved road with cracks and molten rock only confirmed his theory with a slight discomfort. Someone had done this as an act of deliberation yet had no intention to cause harm... Still he noted that as he slowed down the sensation of a chakra signature at the gates  Close to 80 meters away and yet it was a surprise that one would cast such a large scale jutsu in the act and at the moment. A peaceful early evening snuffed out by a roaring fire well not one at home but one caused by a shinobi. Or shinobis if more. This was as yen would note quietly as he took a silent observation of the reasons why it was done. It might've been an act of terror or a spook per say yet this scale is not as one would note as a kind sparring tap. Perhaps equivalent to an actual offensive maneuver or a warning shot... In terror? This clearly was intentional to yen for certain. As he thought to himself.

I must adress this act of terror now and mend its damage. As it's not nessary to act rash in this way. the ninja that arrived had cleared the area as yen took a breath as he weaved (bird, rat, ox, monkey, rat, snake)the sky began to darken as yen noted that unless somehow interrupted the inevitable falling of rain would come. Yet the sky in its darkness meant one thing it was going to rain and for the hell it was he knew that it was for it was his own rain to come down on the area within a mile around. A mile where it was his own rain although not soothing to some this required a moment to act as the first drops would fall. Followed by two, then 10, before hundreds as the sky wept over the front area as the deluge from the chakra filled sky by yen began to cry. (Rain tiger at will technique: covers 1 mile with rain and useable by yensung)

Yet yens focus became more apparent as the rain assisted with his own chakra sensory and surely enough there was an individual at the now smoking gates his good eye picking it fully up as  by the graces it looked of konoha from the distance. it cannot be a coup. There are not enough maybe a rebellious one is that another one out there too? Perhaps. yen noted as he slowly walked up to the gate his thoughts in contemplation as he spoke up loud enough for the person to hear for certain. " this looks like one very powerful technique was used as it did cause enough damage. But perhaps it was accidental. Come my surely this wasn't on purpose...." Yen went silent as his good eye caught the mask and he nodded kasai had it around his neck often yet now he wore it . Or so assumed yen. This brought on a question to yen.

"Kasai? That's one awsome fire jutsu you used but why aimed at the gates. Some would be hurt. Unless of course it's a test of the gates of course they are wood and a shinobi of your stature would more then likely melt down the doors. Come my friend tell me how are you? We have yet to test our mettle and where's tatsuya? Havnt seen him in ages. Tell me what's on your mind?" Yen asked as he adressed the figure now a good 50 meters away as he stared. Now he could detect it. The power of another not far from where they were. The rain continued to fall as his yellow eye was trained on the figure outside of the gate. surely it was a misfire of some sort.. why else would one launch a technique of that leve? yen questioned as the rain fell around the area yen remained relax and calm. Despite the questions flowing through his mind.

Burning Down the Gates of Konohagakure Empty Re: Burning Down the Gates of Konohagakure

With a languishing yawn Lingqi rentei flicked off one final flea off of her Monkey companion as he chowed down at a bowl of ramen. Somehow he'd managed to scrounge up enough money for a bowl but not her. Who pays a monkey and let's a pretty girl like her go starving. Hiru wasn't even sharing, :( Mean monkey. She could only sigh and plop the flea into her mouth. Better than nothing. Probably. He'd just finished slurping up some ramen when he suddenly raised his head up and his ears twitched.

"Hmm?" Lingqi chirped. "Something wrong?"

"KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!" Said the fire ball.

Ling covered her and Hiru's head as ash and debree flew across the village. She and Hiru had been nearby but luckily far enough to not be hit by the initail impact of the fire. She closed her eyes and held her monkey close to her. An attack. An Attack. They were being attacked. Her hometown was never attacked, no one could even find them. Mother made sure of that. She was always there, now she's not. Now she was being attacked. Now she was in danger. Now she was going to die. Die die die. What was this feeling. she could feel it spreading over her brain. The happiness. She desperately waited for the happiness to make her numb once more. But she felt something else spreading as well. Something in her veins. It made her heart race, her muscles contract, her lung take deep breaths. Her whole body shaked. While her brain told her to laugh and be happy, her body was telling her something else. The happiness always won though. It was mother, she always won. Like the moon in all those vision. Oh god she could feel it creeping to her throat. This feeling. Strangling her sufficating her. Dying. She was dying. What was this? Not happiness. Is this what normal people felt, what it was like to not be cursed with eternal sunshine. To be normal. To be.... afraid. Yes she felt it. That terror gripping her throat like throttling hands, over run her brain so much that even her mother's genjutsu could not overide it. Her heart pounded on it's own like it did when the happiness was at it's peak, and her palms were sweaty like that too. This... this wasn't death, it was like Happiness. This was an... emotion? Could it be?

An emotion? How novel. Thought this one wasn't numbing buzzing happiness caused by a genjutsu. This one was real. It was terrifying, but she was feeling it. Really feeling it. Goodness. How did people handle it? She closed her eyes tight and tried to think back had she ever seen someone be afraid? Who did they handle it? Her mother. Yes. That's how she'd created the jutsu in the first place. Terrible panic attacks. What was it? What did she do?

Breath in. One two three four. Breath out. One two three four. Breath in. One two three four. Breath out. One two three four. Breath in. One two three four. Breath out. One two three four.  Breath in. One two three four. Breath out. One two three four.

With a start Ling opened up her Rentei, and smiled with a lucidity that had never passed on her face once in her life. She stood to her full height and looked over at the burning hole.

She'd never been more terrified of anything in all her life.

Oh man this was great!

She waved her monkey to come follow her and ran for the entrance of the gate which was now burning. "Hiru I've never been more afraid of anything in my whole life!!! This is the best day ever!" She giggled and started forming hand seals. This was going to be so much fun! Hiru jumped on her shoulders, and went along for the ride. He had a full stomach but maybe he'd actually help out during the battle.

She was about a meter to the left of the gaping hole and from the entrance of the gate when her jutsu was complete and 3cm of water started bubbling up from the ground and started to extinguish and fires that were going on, on the ground. 50m in every direction would appear to be a strange mercury reflection of the sky above. As the water formed under her she skidded across the surface and positioned herself right in the middle of the gate to great her attacker. Her heart was pounding with full animal, primal fear. (Ling obviously avoids flying into any fires that are burning above the water line.)

Ling smirked at the attack with the full cockiness of a girl who had never been afraid once in her life.
So this was what it was like to be alive.

Her hands were trembling as held them up ready to do some snap casting. She felt hot and cold all at once, and she was ready to throw up any second now.

Not bad.

Burning Down the Gates of Konohagakure Empty Re: Burning Down the Gates of Konohagakure

Tue Jan 05, 2016 12:25 am
Zakary, seeing the column of smoke rise into the sky, climbed up the village wall. He was to the east side, but, upon reaching the top, started toward the gates. After catching sight of the fire, he quickened to a run only to slow himself as it started to rain. Zakary started to observe the situation with such a lack of expertise he'd be hopeless to actually understand much besides the fact that the masked one had set fire to the gates. Judging by the extent of the damage, he was a strong fire user. A shinobi had started to talk to the arsonist of the gates, and Zakary knew that he would be way out of his depth if he got involved.  This whole incident put his mind back in it's place. He was a weakling here. A girl slid up like a maniac, putting out fires and facing the masked assailant like an idiot. She didn't stand a chance, or so Zakary thought. It'd be smarter to wait until an opportunity arose to get involved, as he was doing. Besides, if there were no survivors, at least he could give an accurate description of what happened to these three. "Wow. Morbid, Zak. Quit that." He started to walk closer, trying to identify some of the people, and took his seat just a few meters away from where the damage had stopped.

Burning Down the Gates of Konohagakure Empty Re: Burning Down the Gates of Konohagakure

Risako was waltzing around the training ground, helping those in need by offering to spar. Occasionally she'd come across the walking academy student and test their skills against her fox instead, as it was much more on par with a student then Risako could ever dream of. This boy in particular, Shinto or whatever his name was, had potential. As he threw a punch, Ris blocked it with her forearm. "Come, a bit faster than that!"

She was excited, despite this being a really slow fight. For the first time in a while, she was actually enjoying fighting, viewing it as more of a sport than a weapon. What she didn't expect, was for the boy to suddenly poof into smoke as she threw her punch, (albeit, slower than she normally would.) Despite his cleverness, she was faster still, turning just into to catch his shin in her palm and push upwards, throwing him off balance. Seemingly out of the blue, her ears perked up, catching the sounds of a distant crash, and something like an explosion. Even from here, the gate crumbling could be felt as if thunder shook the ground.

Not wanting to arouse much suspicion, her hand dove into her pocket and pulled out a kunai. Just before rocketing off, Risako ordered "Practice throwing that, I'll be back soon," to her little friend. And before she left the grounds, she picked up her equipment. Her fox summon disappeared in a poof of smoke.

As she ran to the gate, she slung the katana over her shoulder, pulled her arm through the leather hoop, and allowed it to fall to her waist before fastening the sheathe to her body. Next, her hands pulled her shirt over her body, covering the thin shirt she had on instead. After that, she picked up her pace and began sprinting, covering a rather large space in such little time.

Before the clouds could gather, she saw the smoke, followed by the drizzle of the clouds, unfortunately trying to feel out other chakra signatures using sensory was pointless, as the rain was loaded with chakra. Her hands came together to form three hand seals, causing ten glowing orbs to appear above her head, following her as she rounded the corner, coming into full view of the gate. With every step, her heart began to quicken its pace. Sort of like when you see your waiter bringing you your food, except with more anxiety and less momentary joy.

The orbs spontaneously combusted into fiery lanterns, each having a unique face. From what she could see, two chuunin were already springing into action, which was good. Or, well. One was doing something, Yen was trying to talk. Like usual.

Still quite a bit away, however, she couldn't see beyond Lingqi, for she ran practically down the middle of the street behind the monkey girl, drifting ever so slightly to the left. By the time she had reached Ling, Risako had changed her course enough to put her between the gate and Ling her self. Several steps in front of the monkey girl now, Risako put on the brakes and skidded to a halt. For the most part she had done a decent job of focusing on getting here, but now, she didn't know what to think. There stood her mentor of sorts, his face bore a familiar mask, and his chakra flaring.

Her mind began to race, for the last time she saw Kasai, he had talked about a plan he had to help Konoha, and she also knew him to be ever so slightly on the nutty side, but it was just one of his many enjoyable quirks. Her arms tensed a bit, ready to snap to the katana.

Provided nothing had happened immediately after she came to a halt, the fox sage to be would bark out, rather uncalmly, "What is this?" The demon lanterns just circled Risako like fish wandering aimlessly in a tank. With every drop of rain that touched them, they immediately hissed and rose into a small wisp of steam.

Under more normal circumstances she'd have charged the assailant with a suicidal recklessness, but Kasai was a member of the leaf right? Surely, there was some explanation, but her eyes found none. Instead, she hoped her she'd be given her answer, straight from Kasai.

[I'll add up the ap later, the lanterns have aboot 80 or so power. Please excuse any typos/grammar mistakes, as phones suck for the impatient.]

Burning Down the Gates of Konohagakure Empty Re: Burning Down the Gates of Konohagakure

Tue Jan 05, 2016 4:46 pm
Kasai's eyes gazed through the holes in the mask, piercing through the shadows that the clouds had cast upon the land. He remained still an silent as he looked upon what he had done. Why had he done it? Was it too late to stop now, and go back?

To everyone, he was sure the answer was no, it was not too late. However, to Kasai, it had been too late for him the day he had been taken away by the Demon Youka. There was no stopping, not now with the goal so close in sight. Everyone he needed was gathered around, and more were coming. He couldn't stop; he had to complete the mission.

It made him cringe inwardly, looking at the destruction, and it almost brought tears to his eyes. The fire dragon had certainly done its work, and the gates of Konohagakure now lay destroyed, burst open with a twin searing half-circles on either gate door. Yet, the dragon had gone beyond, and made a clear path into the village of ash and smoke. It had been stronger than he had expected, and done more damage than he had wanted to. He couldn't show that, though. He had to play the villain, or his final act would not work.

Looking at Yensung when he spoke, Kasai was forced to bite into his own lip so deeply that it split, and began to bleed, the trail of red hidden by the mask on his face. He did want to say it had been a miss-fire. That he hadn't meant to. Yet he had meant it, every flame.

It it hard, to look upon the people you had cared the most about, and pretend that you hate them more than all the evil of the world. Yet Kasai knew that if he did anything short of that, they would understand what he was doing, and he would not leave them with the power they needed. No, Kasai thought, it has to be like this. It was meant to be like this.

Kasai let the sleeves of his robes slide down over his hands, as to hide his fingers, so none would know when he was preparing his next jutsu. Grasping his Bo between his palms as he did so, Kasai turned his gaze to Yensung, as he had spoken first. He was both glad that his friend had come, but sad that they would fight to Kasai's death. In that short moment, Kasai thought very deeply about what he would say.

"I see now how easy it was for every murderer to enter the village as they please," Kasai answered, his voice void of emotion. He needed them to hate him if they were to truly fight. He needed them to see him as a threat, and to treat him as they would any other rouge ninja. He was their friend, yes, but he didn't want them to remember that. Not now, at least. Perhaps when he was dead.

"Stand aside," Kasai continued. "Your city is burning. Like all the others who came before you, won't you watch it fall?"

Although his voice was perfectly steady, and there was no physical sign --other than the steam of blood which came from his mouth and was covered by the mask-- that he felt any emotion. However, Kasai's mind screamed at him. Yet, he had to continue.

Slowly, Kasai's fingers began to move below the cloth, but in a way that it remained invisible to the eye. He continued to restrict his chakra from growing until the jutsu was ready as well.

As he continued to work with the hand sign, the smoke and steam began to slowly change. He knew the smoke would last a while, and the downpour of rain only made there be more of it. He knew that Yensung had powerful genjutsu, and Kasai did not want to get caught by it, so he would attempt to beat him.

The holes in the mask upon Kasai's face slowly began to glow red, until Kasai's own eyes were no longer visible. Then, the mouth of the mask began to move, all of it becoming more life-like as it did.

"Or will you protect it?" The mask asked, looking at Yensung, and the others that had arrived.
The voice that spoke was not Kasai's own, though he was the one that made it. He hoped that this strange creation would distract them from the smoke that was changing shape all around them, from the wreckage that the fire dragon had made.

Of course, they would be able to sense it, but all around them, everywhere there was smoke or steam from the smolders of the fire or the fire that still lingered, Kasai's chakra signature would be there, making it impossible to distinguish where he truly was through the use of chakra sensing.

Burning Down the Gates of Konohagakure Empty Re: Burning Down the Gates of Konohagakure

Tue Jan 05, 2016 7:43 pm
~Miss. There seems to be a bit of trouble at the gates of konoha. ~ Before the words finished her lips her hands wove the seals for the summoning jutsu, calling the Demon of chance from her place within the Faewilds to assess the situation. It was quite the troublesome situation, though in truth with as quiet as it had been over the past few months, allowing the hyuuga girl time to recoup from the troubles caused by their previous interactions, she couldn't complain too terribly.

"I've not much time Kira. Awaken and summon power. I'll let you know if it's needed. It seems there may be trouble." She was gone before the girl's eyes fluttered open, thin fingertips brushing black hair from her eyes. Fear swelled in her stomach as she pushed herself up from beneath the intricate gold inlaid blanket that had protected her in slumber from the cool night air. Her eyes closed immediately, her own seals calling the twin drakes to her side as she reached out to the strength of her incomplete sage mode.

"What seems to be the i.....I see." Even within the heart of the Nara woods the screams and smell of fear hung like a heavy fog, mixing with the smell of rain freshly falling across the village hidden in fire. Amber checked the latching on her armor before climbing up quickly to the top of a tree near her to survey the lands. The sight was faint from this distance, a bit of smoke mixed with screams of terrified villagers. Could it be Youka?

"Not terribly sure. Seems something problematic. The call of sorrow weighs heavily on my heart...  I fear I sense not all within the village will lay their head down to rest on this night." Her connection to the world was an interesting thing. THe spirit of the scythe of sorrow felt the pain and horrors in all things, allowing a lenience that had shifted the once cold heartless demon of chance to consider her actions.

"Go. Check things out but as usual stay from site unless you're needed. Assess the situation, remove the possiblity of any loss without actually engaging. If that proves impossible...... Contact me first. " Amber let out a soft sigh. They'd spent so much time hidden within the village, shifting one by one in and out to handle their affairs and protect the village. To be notice now could mean ending their free reign within the village Kira had gotten two of them escorted out of. It was imperative to continue this trend until she could speak to the new hokage and patch things up.

Selene took off, cloak covering her face as she rushed past the sea of people heading to evacuate. Thankfully her savar suit hid her chakra signature, making her seem like a non shinobi.

Burning Down the Gates of Konohagakure Empty Re: Burning Down the Gates of Konohagakure

From where Kasuga had been standing he could hear the crashing of a certain obstacle hitting the village, innate senses passed only through intense training told him this. The smell of smoke hit the village air as he yellow eyes turned in the direction of the gates, his small frame turning to face the gates as many onlookers turned in awe. Had there been an attack on Konoha? Has someone came to repeat the tragedy of so many years ago? Well this seven year old was curious and since his father was busy and probably had notice this it had fallen upon his son to correct it. From his first steps which would have placed him some thirty two meters from the gates, this being on the walkway towards the gates and the actual guard shack itself, his body began to cover in a dark color. The form of his own ancestral garbs began to overtake his body as if for a moment his body began to form back into that of the seasoned veteran.

The black garbs covered his body from neck to feet, white bandages covering his arms and for his head his konoha head band remained. In his left hand a black blade fit for the devil himself appeared, its tail wrapping around the males arm in anticipation for its use. A battle had been started and a battle would be fought. Red eyes, no long the color of the pacifist swirled into existence as his body felt the first course of the rain that fell. Ready eyes turned to the water, seeing its base before the understanding came. The chakra was familiar to him, if he could recall correctly it belonged to Yensung, a male he had once met in the forests of Konoha. Someone had met the attacker at the gates followed by two more people and their chakra were also known to him but that was irrelevant at the moment.

With his battle armor ready, the male took to the sky as a pair of black wings appeared onto his back and off he took into the sky. With his speed he reached the top of the now broken gates while his chakra was visible he had done nothing to hide it and why would he? From his position which would have been where the gates WOULD be still if they weren't all over the place (in correlation to the others I.E Yen, Ris and Ling; he'd be behind them since they are currently out of the gates) he could make out the figures, his eyes looking downward as his eyes were currently in the water form of the Kenseigan, he could see the chakra based in the element in the ground below him. What a predicament he was in though given his current positioning as thirty five meters, he watched from his little aerial nest in contemplation. In his left hand sat his dark blade and in the right materialized a single blade from the armor itself. The next move would be dependent on the current situation.

Burning Down the Gates of Konohagakure Empty Re: Burning Down the Gates of Konohagakure

(Jesus you guys go big or go home)

Kasai had made his move and the village began to burn. Staying out of the way from the flames Tatsuya keeps back into the shadows once ninja come into sight. First of which was Yensung a very defined and honorable shinobi. He was strong but didn't let power turn him into a man of greed or arrogance. Even through it was clear that Kasai and Tatusya were attacking the village Yensung still made an effort to communicate which was truly the best way to go about things.
Nonetheless other ninja showed up one who seemed quite young in skill but also a few other ninja that Tatsuya had met before.
This included Risako who if Tatsuya were to miss anyone it would probably be her. Her and Jason were very important to Tatsuya and it would be sad to leave them both. In fact it would honestly be hard to leave this village but Tatsuya had done it before and he was to do it again.
As more ninja show up Tatsuya surveys the people he sees taking note of the man in the sky and it seemed that Kasai and Tatsuya would have quite the battle on hand.

Clouds started to appear and condense in the sky above and heavy rain drop began to fall. With a growing smile across Tatsuyas face a deal was now sealed as the plaining field became inveloped in one shadow. Closing his eyes and once again activating his Hyper Sesmic Sense Tatsuya filters through the many rain drops to pain a mental image of the people around him.

Tatsuya plans to prepare a series of shadow manipulation however the time was not now and Tatsuya waits for events to unfold. (lol even though he is the one attacking)
