Mission: Catching an Art thief II [P, Yami]

Yami carried the painting under his arms as he headed towards the owners house. He had caught Haji just an hour ago and was heading out to deliver the painting back. He had Cerberus follow Haji’s tracks to find the rest of the stolen art works so they could be retrieved and returned to the rightful owner. Yami sped over the roof tops increasing his speed as he leapt from edge to edge flying over the streets and into the night sky. Yami crashed to the ground landing outside of a large estate. Yami knocked on the door and was answered by a man in his mid forties to whom he handed the painting back to. The man bowed gratefully and thanked Yami before heading inside. Yami sighed as he walked off back into the streets of the village hands tucked into his Hakama pants as he awaited for the return of his familiar. The medic looked up as he saw the form of his companion running towards him barking loudly. The dog leapt through the air and landed at his few kicking up dust as he did. Cerberus barked up at his master as if to tell him he had found the location of all the stolen art works. Yami crouched down placing a hand on Cerberus’s head, “All right then my friend show me the location of the stolen art works” spoke Yami as he stood up. Cerberus barked and took off running away from Yami to lead him to the location.

Yami took off after Cerberus running behind him keeping up with the dog’s pace relatively easily. Yami surveyed the area as they slowly descended into the slums of the village and tis red light district. Yami frowned as the living conditions but ignored them as he followed Cerberus towards a large warehouse by the docks on the outsides of the village where a large river connected to the wide ocean allowing them to gain supplies by sea. He landed on a tall concrete fence surveying the area checking for any guards. Yami jumped down as Cerberus walked on towards onto the warehouse. Yami climbed the side using chakra and looked through a window. Yami opened the window with a scalpel and jumped down to a railing looking over the side. Down below was a large crate filled with different paintings. Yami’s ears twitched as he heard talking as two men entered the area. Yami slowly climbed down to get a better view.

“The shipment is nearly ready but that fool Haji got himself caught but there is enough here to be sent out” said the first man as the second grinned, “Good your payment will arrive tomorrow” said the second as they both shook hands. Yami dropped down from the railings hoping to have the element of surprise as he went through hand seals while he fell, “Suiton: Mizurappa!” Yami expelled a large stream of water from his lips that struck both men and washed them away from each other. Cerberus lunged forward getting the first man by the back of his collar and threw him into a wall knocking him out in the process as Yami faced the second.

The man slowly climbed to his feet coughing up water, “Sneak attack huh” the man spat a glob of water up and drew a long sword from his back gripping it, “Tch Shinobi think you’re so good. Let’s see if my skills have dulled!” the man raced forward swinging the katana at Yami. Yami side stepped the slash and kicked up with his right knee slamming it into the man’s stomach forcing him back, “Your stance is sloppy” commented Yami lazily as he dodged another swing a bored expression on his boyish features the man was so slow. He swerved around the blow and withdrew a senbon shoving into the back of his neck hitting a central nerve disabling his entire body. The man collapsed to the ground in a heap. Yami whistled and Cerberus walked over dragging the first man, “Take them to the lock up I’ll return the paintings” Cerberus growled and grabbed the second man by his collar and dragged both away in his mouth but for good measure Yami placed a senbon in the back of the first man’s neck to disable his body movements as well.

Yami approached the crate of paintings and performed hand seals using the water from his previous Ninjutsu to create five water clones. He and the water clones picked the crate up to together and left to return the stolen goods to the rightful owners then report their completed mission to the tower.
