Mission: Thief in the Village I [P, Yami]

Yami twiddled his thumbs together as he sat on a branch legs dangling over the edge as he reviewed the status of his mission in his head. Multiple villages around the village had been reporting stolen goods the thing was they were being stolen at the same time. Did this mean there were multiple culprits? Yami sighed and shook his head as he surveyed the village looking for anything out of the normal. His eyes scanned as his familiar Bester ran through the streets looking for anything abnormal if he did he would roar to report. Yami’s eyes scanned over the village picking up the form of movement. His eyes narrowed as he could hear shouting in the distance. Yami dropped from the branch and using his increase speed shot across the village in record timing making it to the disturbance in a matter of seconds. He covered the distance standing in front of the figure. The black cloaked figure came to an abrupt stop before pulling out a kunai and throwing it. Yami side stepped the incoming blade as the figure charged forth with a rising kick.

Yami leaned body back avoiding the blow as the person dropped a suitcase he was carrying and unleashed a barrage of punches. Yami moved around the punches they were moving rather slow in comparison to him. He sighed and ducked under a swing and went with a right upper cut. The figure jumped back avoiding the blow almost desperate to avoid being hit. The figure went through a few hand seals before placing his hands on the roof top, “Doton: Retsudo Tenshō!” the earth beneath the house shook before it spiralled inwards crushing the house in an attempt to drag Yami under. Yami leapt up into the air landing on another roof top as the figure took off into the night. He cursed and took off quickly catching up as he went through his own hand seals, “Suiton: Mizurappa!” Yami opened his mouth expelling a large torrent of water to spiral forward. The figure jumped to the side avoiding the spray as Yami closed in forming hand seals again. The water he had launched twisted and turned as it turned into five water clones. The clones sprinted in encircling around the figure each of them beginning to go through the exact same hand seals as Yami had used earlier. The clones breathed in moulding water nature into their lungs, “Suiton: Mizurappa!” The clones opened their lips expelling five large torrents of water forth. The figure tried to dodge around them but was struck by three and sent spiralling into a wall cracking it. The five clones dispelled into water as Yami landed in front of his opponent.

The figure slowly began to stand but Yami was ahead of him using the water around him to create four senbon’s that shot forth impaling the figure in four pressure points to stop his movements. As the senbon’s pierced his flesh the person began to dissolve into…mud. Yami approached the puddle of mud picking the suitcase up staring with a raised eyebrow, a form of substitution? No a mud clone perhaps? The figure did perform an earth based Jutsu so he has had Shinobi training this would need more investigating. Perhaps it was only one person using clones or a group of people capable of using Ninjutsu. Yami took off heading back towards the Village’s mission tower to hand in his report for the night. He would have to sit down and write down the facts as he continued to perform this mission and get to the bottom of it. For now he would mull over the events and devise a plan for tomorrow night.
