Flower Picking

Mission:

Tenshi awake from a restless slumber, he was drenched in sweat and groaned as he got up. It was hot very bloody hot. The summer heat had retained its temperature overnight, forcing the young Uchiha to turn on his fan. That helped until the fan decided to break and leave him with no form of cooling, that was when he found himself waking up every 30 to 40 minutes. It was excruciatingly frustrating, and now he was tired, not to mention pissed off. This was not the only reason he was unhappy, today was mission day. Which usually was a good thing, except for the fact that he only had one mission, and it was an E Ranked one. Not only that, the mission was to pick flowers. Him, an Uchiha Shinobi, being relegated to picking some silly little flowers? He was hot, angry, frustrated, and now, embarrassed. Today was not going to be a fun day…

Slowly getting out of bed, Tenshi moved at a snail’s pace to his bathroom. He had one saving grace for today, a cold shower. Stripping down and hopping in, he groaned in satisfaction as the icy water hit him, instantly cooling him down. He stayed in the shower for far longer than he needed to, but there was not a single regret in Tenshi’s mind. Eventually, however, it was time for the Uchiha to get out and get ready. Brushing his teeth and fixing his long flowing hair, he decided he would tie it up today, anything to help stop the heat. Tenshi also decided to wear a thin black shirt and shorts, deciding that it would be more convenient for him to stay cool today. When he was finally satisfied with his appearance, Tenshi sighed and left his apartment, braving the Konoha heat.

As soon as he opened his front door, the elements hit him at a searing pace, a ferocious gust of hot air smacked into Tenshi’s body, causing him to sweat already. He groaned dramatically as he pushed forward, the quicker he got this done, the quicker he would go and buy a new fan for his room. Heck, maybe he would buy an air conditioning unit instead, he had saved up a fair amount of money so it was not entirely out of the question. Tenshi was headed to the shop of a Yamanaka florist by the name of Hana. She was the villager who had given the mission and the request was quite simple: Meet her at her shop in the north of Konoha, get a list of flowers, go to a nearby garden and retrieve said flowers, return and get paid.

Tenshi arrived at the shop and was greeted by a blonde woman, appearing to be in her early 20s. She waved him down on entry and wasted no time in giving him a list of flowers to pick. Thankfully there was not too many and he left knowing it would not be a super long day. Moving at a faster pace, Tenshi arrived at the garden and began picking the flowers from the list. He barely remembered any of their names, but the colours and descriptions were enough for him to go off. After 20 minutes of sweating and picking, he finally got all the flowers from the list, before returning and handing them over to Hana. She gave a large smile before the two said their goodbyes and parted ways.
