It just got a lot hotter. [Entering Suna]

For Haru the trip had been rather quiet and boring, he had basically kept to himself during the duration of the trip. Some time in Suna might make the final trip back less dull but for now that was the case. The change in temperature was not drastic, but very noticeable, this place was clearly going to take time to get used to if that was even possible. In the past he probably would have dragged his feet while being desperate for water, but after the training he'd gone through for ANBU this was nothing so he let the others have the water that was brought along.

Getting to the gates of Sunagakure no Sato, he'd nod to the guards present and wait for someone to let them in the village. At least he had some paperwork pertaining to their task, the Hokage nearly didn't provide that and could have caused Suna to misjudge their intents. 'Wonder if the Kazekage murders people like the rest.' he'd think to himself.

It seemed a platoon of armed ninja had approached the gates, they wore headbands the likes of which Ryu had never seen before. He approached whoever was in the front. "Any reason a bunch of armed ninja from another village are here?" Was this something new where the sand ninja would go to the leaf and the leaf ninja are coming here. The question wasn't asked in a rude manner, but more of a questioningly one. The genin did not remember anyone telling him a group of ninja would be arriving at the gates.

He looked at the headbands on most of them more closely. "Oh, you are from the leaf. Please wait for an order from lord Koroshi. I don't want to be the one who lets in an entire group of strangers, without permission." 


Making a hand seal the boy summoned two shadow clones. One would go to Koroshi and inform him of their quests and the other to Salzem informing him of the same.

It had been a while since Kasuga had came to the village in the sands, the first time being with his father which he was supposed to come here with his brother but...that had happened. Walking past the group and heading into the village, he looked at the ninja who had apparently been trying to hold them there, which he didn't have the luxury of doing so. Looking back to Haru he nodded for him to come closer before sighing in annoyance. It would have been better for him to get his uncles attention but when the ninja was trying to go and get Koroshi he would hold his hand up BEFORE the shadow clones were made," We'd prefer it if you went to Koroshi directly and tell him that we have come to see him. Or you could simply let us in and allow us to meet with him personally. Seeing as you do not know what we are here for and we are from the leaf," showing his Konoha identification card to confirm this," it would be better if we went ourselves. The choice is yours of course, though I figured he'd already picked up on our signatures," with that he would see what the others would stand back and let things go on.

Finally arriving at the gates of Sunagakure, Ari could already feel the difference in climate getting to her. "Probably should have figured the desert would be hot... Huh?" She joked, wiping sweat from her forehead. Ari remembered her headband and pulled it out before securing it to her forehead to hold back the sweat from her eyes. At least now she wouldn't have to worry about temporarily being blinded by the salt of her own sweat. The most notable effect Sunagakure's climate was having on Ari was an immediate sense of thirst. Even though she'd been remaining well hydrated, the dry heat passing into her nose and mouth made it hard to swallow as her throat dried up. The second thing Ari noticed was a layer of sweat forming between her skin and her clothing. The discomfort it caused was sufficiently irritating enough that it caused her to move differently, attempting to avoid pulling on her clothes with every step.

Every moment Ari spent in Sunagakure made it clear to her it would seem like a much longer stay than it was. Ari figured she would have to spend some time questioning the locals and felt relief at the first sight of Ryu. However, he didn't open with the kind of conversation she hoped for. Questioning their reason for arriving at Sunagakure's gates, so this was the reason behind Konoha's rule of not letting Genin receive visitors. At least, she assumed the boy to be a Genin, judging by the way he approached a superior number and quality of shinobi by his lonesome. Kasuga responded to him first, trying to explain their situation. Ari decided to join in after he'd finished. "Well to be fair, we can't just enter the village without someone of authority allowing it, like back in Konoha right? We wouldn't let just anybody invite ninja into our village." Ari looked directly at the Sunagakure ninja in front of them before speaking to him.

"What rank do you hold in this village? If you're not authorized to allow us access we'll have to wait for someone who is, so please do your best to get them." She asked, simple and to the point.

With the gates of Sunagakure in her sights, Risako kept her pace with the group. A moderate look of disgust would take over her face as Ari sarcastically made her statement about the desert being hot. This wasn't your normal heat, this was advanced, heat stroke inducing heat. Aside from the few strands of hair that stuck to her forehead and face coupled with the few beads of sweat that dripped from her chin, the chuunin didn't really show off a lot of signs that the heat was getting to her. Beneath the flak jacket however, was a pool of sweat and disgust so grand that she may as well have been a walking oasis of filth.

Coupled with the heat, the sand wasn’t exactly always friendly to walk on, as it wasn’t as firm as the forested soil in Konoha. Her calves felt the burn more than the rest of her legs, as the muscles were straining to keep her balanced. The surface walking technique had crossed her mind, but at the time it seemed like a waste of energy. So was talking, for that matter. Unless addressed, she would keep to herself.

Once they were stopped by the gate guard who told them they would have to wait, Risako would plop down with a grunt, taking a seat until this all got sorted out. Lifting her pack over her head, the girl would place it in her lap before digging through it for one of the bottles of water she had brought. Unless stopped, the contents of the bottle would be down her throat in about three large gulps.

The journey to Sunagakure was exceptionally quiet, with little to no conversation being carried along the way. Honestly, it felt as if she was traveling alone, through she did appreciate having the company of others. As the group approached the dessert, Ayumi could feel the sudden change in temperatures; she could feel the dense air enter her lungs as she gulped down the air. Having visited Sunagakure a couple of times, the girl wasn't hugely bothered by the sudden change in temperatures and whatnot. Along the way, she could see that Ari had experienced some discomfort probably due to the heat. Well, no duh; she commented about the heat for a reason, right? It somewhat reminded Ayumi of her first ever journey to Sunagakure, where she most probably had experienced the same discomfort Ari went through. She would pass a water bottle towards the woman whilst making sure to keep an eye on her in case something unexpected were to happen.

Upon arrival at the gates, the group was greeted by the sudden appearance of a boy. Oh goody, how great. As he spoke, the girl raised her left eyebrow, her expression switching from that of a poker face to that of slight confusion before switching back to her usual poker face. A split second would have passed as Kasuga spoke, followed by Ari. The girl had decided to keep her mouth shut and let the others handle the situation. In her opinion, there was no need for all of them to justify why they were trying to enter Sunagakure; after all, too many cooks spoils the broth.

Great, the Raikage's son didn't understand how the politics of villages work. This was probably Haru's fault, he had assumed that Kurisu would have told everyone that Sunagakure no Sato didn't know about this visit but clearly the Hokage wasn't very responsible and in turn Haru overestimated the psychopath's ability to be a Hokage. It didn't matter, he couldn't let the kid try and make the situation more tense than need be. Hokage's son or not, there were rules to follow. 

He'd step back in front of Kasuga and stop the kid from speaking out of turn. Turning his attention to the Suna ninja he'd speak, "Thank you, sorry for the surprise visit but we'll wait here for the Kazekage." with that he'd wait with the team for the Kazekage, this should send a sign to not speak out of turn thus Ari's statements would stop also.

However, if the boy were continue with his actions and try to ignore Haru then he'd be meeting the ground quickly without standing down. First would be the smack to the back of the head which would cause Haru to flashback to training with Echo in the ANBU. "Cadets only speak when spoke to, speaking out of turn only results in pain." a phrase he'd heard from Echo at times during training as Haru had a bad habit of speaking when not spoken to. Should the boy fight back, then Haru would quickly grab at the back of the boy's head and use his right leg to sweep out the boy's legs and put him on the ground looking at the sky.

"..we'll have to wait for someone who is, so please do your best to go get them." Right after Ari spoke those words, a shadow would eclipse the Suna Genin as Nobunaga hopped down from the village gate and landed behind his fellow shinobi. Placing a hand on the Genin's right shoulder, telling him that he was dismissed, the giant man clad in a black weather worn cloak would step past the Genin and came before the company of Konoha nin. Coming before Haru, who seemed to be the leader of the company, Nobunaga said "What brings so many of you here?" 

As Nobunaga spoke, his eyes slowly drifted from one Konoha nin to the next, watching and analysing them all as he always did. Their company was fairly large, too large for Nobunaga's liking. From the looks of it, they didnt mean any harm as most of them were sitting down and willing to wait for proper entrance into the village. However the presence of so many clearly high level shinobi was a cause for concern. If they were here for diplomatic reasons and Nobunaga deemed them trust worthy, he would lead them into the village to meet the Kazekage as having Lord Koroshi come meet them out here would be unreasonable. Nobunaga presently had no reason to mistrust the company before him, despite them being so many, since the two villages were allied and they appeared friendly enough. Therefore things had the potential to move along swiftly.

Did this...Apparently Kasuga was cut off just when he was about to address the Suna ninja, the act causing a moment of distaste in the mouth of the young Jounin in which caused him to stare the male down for a moment. If not stopped he would look towards the ninja who had just joined the fray from the top. His chakra had been sensed prior but seeing as he wasn't important Kasuga didn't focus on him...right now he was pretty angry at the moment. Anger subsided beside rage as the inner demon warned him about striking out for no reason, it ended badly. As such he took in a deep breathe and walked away from the group, ten meters in face and sat in the sand, of course he could have done more but...actions and what not.

Ari would never get the chance to speak, as Haru cut Kasuga's speech off and thus her own. The man put things very bluntly presumably for the Sunagakure Genin's understanding. Seeing Risako bring a bottle of water to her mouth and proceed to attempt chugging it, Ari's medical knowledge kicked in and she launched her right hand onto the bottom of the bottle. Pressing it down to stop Risako from drinking more than a third of it in one go while speaking, "It isn't good to rush drinking water like that when you're very thirsty, it could make you nauseous. Just sip on the water to be safe." While Ari attended this matter, Haru and Kasuga appeared to be challenging each other.

She smiled at Risako with a roll of her eyes about the situation behind her before turning around to face it. Even though the heat was still affecting Ari, she had to maintain focused. Seeing Kasuga decide to walk away from Haru gave her some relief. Ari immediately began walking towards her son as she decided to let their mission leader handle all negotiations. She would approach Kasuga from his right side before sitting down beside him. The sand felt like it could burn her backside at first but eventually that which was beneath her cooled down slightly. Ari pulled out her water bottle and began sipping from it, sitting beside Kasuga in silence encase he had anything to say.
