TNA: Youta vs Yusuke

Tengakure's New Age Round 1 Matchup: Youta vs Yusuke

The arena was set, the match ups had been called. Now it was time for the fights to begin. Hopefully it would be spectacular and amazing. Let's hope it wasn't as boring as Tengakure's last Chuunin Exams 'ey?

Youta entered the arena when her name was called. Before that the new Tenkage announced the rules which were rather simple to follow and did not impede her in any way. For this fight she did not bring along all of her equipments, only the two of her katanas, one sheathed on her back and one on by her left side, two ninjato sheathed around the back of her waist and the basic stuff like kunai, shurikens, exploding tags and smoke bombs in a pouch. She probably had a couple meters of wire in there as well, but the girl did not expect she would have to use it.

Walking five meters from the entrance she would stop, remembering the simple layout of the arena and waiting for her opponent to appear.

Yusuke's name was called as he walks forward slowly thinking where did he hear the name Youta, Youta was the girl that spar with her together with kenchi and now this fight yusuke is facing her alone. Thinking to himself *Youta must have become stronger now i can't wait to spar with her*. As Yusuke slowly walks to the front of the new kage which he has never met before looking over at him explaining the rules of this spar. Yusuke also brought his pouch that includes kunais, shurikens, smoke pellets, wires, exploding tags while going up against Youta knowing that she was good with sword and hoping after the spar Youta might teach him how to wield swords decently.

Shortly before her opponent entered the arena, Youta would sense his unusually strong chakra and upon hearing his name being Yusuke recognize who she was fighting. The man she had sparred with once before, in a weird encounter in the plains when she was out for some herbs shortly after her recovery. From what she remembered, the guy had not only strong chakra but was also incredibly fast. Clearly more so than was expected from a Genin, which made her wonder. Either the guy was having problems advancing or he was Chuunin or Jounin even... participating in a Genin tourney, or so she assumed.

Honestly, it did not matter much at this point. She would simply have to beat him and win. When the fight was announced to begin Youta would lunge forward to close the distance between her and Yusuke. During this run she would get three shurikens and when there were only five meters remaining between them, she would throw the blades then clap her hands and summon a gust of wind that would enhance the shuriken speed and probably knock Yusuke off his feet, if such were the case, the shuriken would slam into him while he was mid air, two hitting his legs and one his right arm. If that was the case, it would also provide an opening for Youta to strike and she would take it by unsheathing Shigure and aiming to piece Yusuke's left shoulder the moment his feet touch the ground.

While getting ready Yusuke looks at Youta as he looks at her when she lunge forward at him. At this point of time Yusuke makes two shadow clones and sees that there were three shuriken getting ready to throw at him. The two clones that Yusuke make will be standing infront of him so from Youta's point of view it would seems that there was only one Yusuke but even if youta knew it was a shadow clone she would not know if yusuke was making one or two clone. When Youta claps his hands Yusuke sense something wrong as Youta send a gust of wind using the gale palm, since Yusuke also knows the gale palm he knew that he would be knock away by the force of the gale the only thing he could do is let one of the Yusuke push him from the back and the third Yusuke also holding the second Yusuke to withstand the force of the jutsu. at this time the shuriken would be successfully hit the first Yusuke as  Youta has anticipated as she would she would piece Yusuke's left shoulder as the first clone and cause it to disappear in a puff of smoke which the second Yusuke will take advantage of the smoke to grab hold both of Youta's arm.

[I've skyped him about the Gale Palm being ignored, as it would still knock him over despite the clones being made.

If you wish, I could simply call it a hit and proceed.

As the shuriken are let go, Youta notices the clone hand seal and the puff happening. There was clearly some kind of clone being made in front of her opponent, but the girl wouldn't know what kind or that there were two. She would not interrupt her attack though and the wind would carry her shurikens with deadly speed. However, clearly she underestimated her opponent as he managed to withstand the wind blast, making her hesitate and slightly slow down before committing to the attack, in turn leading to the shurikens dispelling the first clone before her blade got to it.

At this point the girl falls to her left, immediately spotting the second Yusuke and realizing there were two clones made. Now she needed to figure out which one's the original and in order to do that she would do the following. In a moment a kunai would appear in her left hand and it would be thrown at the first Yusuke, the one that stood in front, following that her right hand would grip the katana's that was on her waist hilt.

When the first Yusuke disappear Youta knew something was wrong which Yusuke should know because he had spar with her before knowing she is good. So The front Yusuke would see that Youta holding the kunaiand then would see the kunai being thrown. The first Yusuke would say out enough to let the second Yusuke know but not shouting out loud as he said "Careful she threw a kunai as the first Yusuke and the one standing behind slpit ways the front Yusuke would go to the left of Youta and the back would move to Youta's right attacking from both flanks.

It was rather silly to speak while in combat, regardless if to your clone or to your original. Ignoring the one that spoke Youta focused on the second one as the two scattered to avoid the kunai. She lunged forward almost immediately closing what little distance was left between them, intercepting the one that went to her right before the other one finished his flanking attack. Swiftly unsheathing Shigure she would make a slash aimed at the man's torso, an attack that is most difficult to avoid and so most likely to hit.
