Leaving the Waterfall Village (O,NK)

Maku exited the gates and took a lean against one of the walls.  Maku wasn't sure a genin was qualified to guard the village but the lack of village ninja led everyone to pull their weight.  The time of day was late evening but there was still plenty of light out.

Maku pulled out his harmonica and began playing a tune he had been working on.  It was mostly just a tune that made him think of his home village.  Maku had heard there were some new comers to the village and, had been hoping to meet them but no such luck yet.

Taking a restful yet vigilant position Maku sat upon the warm grass, played his music and waited for what should come.

It was while sitting on guard duty, that Maku had second thoughts about his village.  It wasn't that he didn't care about the village it was that there just didn't seem to be much there for him.  The leader had been gone for as long as Maku had been active in the village, and even his sensei seemed to be gone.  Maku was just frustrated with it all.  He wanted more power, he wanted to make a difference and he just wanted to do something.  Maku just wanted to have an impact on the world and be remembered by his fellow ninja.

While thinking of all these things Maku began walking.  And he just didn't stop.  If left uninterrupted then Maku would leave the waterfall village in search of something.  He wasn't sure where he would go or what he would do, but he knew it was time to see the world, and what better place to start than the famous leaf village.

(If left uninterupted than Maku would exit the waterfall village to travel towards konohagakure.)
