Kaito would follow the small squad of three guards through the village of Kumogakure no Sato. He had made it through the gates perfectly fine, and while the shinobi of the village were most certainly cautious of his presence, they seemed inviting all the same. Many civilians and younger shinobi alike would eye the Otokage with suspicion and, in some cases, awe.

"Look at his headband, mommy!" Kaito heard one child say. Looking over he could see the child tugging at frills of the dress that his mother was wearing. "Its a musical note! What village is that from?" The child would look up to Kaito again, and their eyes met. While the young Uchiha man would not approach the two of them, he would smile at them and give them a small wave. The child's eyes lit up at having been noticed and he too waved wildly back toward Kaito, who chuckled lightly.

"You lot have a magnificent village, I must say. It is very... different from my own."

Different had been the only word he could muster. Kumogakure was very different from his own village of Otogakure. It was evident in the fact that the buildings were much more abundant, and the fact that there were many more people around. The village was certainly lively, and while Otogakure too was lively and built up, Kumogakure had many, many more years under its belt to flourish. Kaito could only hope that his own village would be around long enough to become this centralized hub of activity that the Hidden Cloud Village was.

A few moments would pass before the group of four shinobi made their way into a very busy and roudy looking building. Kaito had thought that he would have been escorted directly to the Raikage's personal chambers to discuss things more privately, but a sign indicated that this building was called 'The Drunken Kage Bar'. Mukuro's remark about Mukuro hoping that Kaito enjoyed drinking played again in Kaito's mind, and it all came full circle for him as he was finally able to piece together the puzzle. The two men would be meeting here at this very bar. The Otokage gulped. He had never been one to consume alcohol. It tasted good, and he was not about to excuse himself from having any to ensure he did not insult any of the natives, but he would pray internally that he could hold down his liquor...

Under the watchful eye of Raijin and Fujin, the two Gods of Kumogakure, one of their devout followers sat behind his desk as he continued finishing up the paperwork for the day. "Lord Raikage, may I enter?" a mysterious voice suddenly called out to him and broke his concentration. The message came from just outside of the Kage Chambers and belonged to Dagon, one of Ayuna's trusted bodyguards. "Apologies for interrupting .." the Shinkou spoke once more, but Ichigo knew he wouldn't unless a situation called for it. "Nonsense, you're always welcome. Come in and tell me what this is about" the Drunken Storm invited his visitor in, curious to hear the reason of the man's visit.

Doing so, Ichigo received the news of the Otokage finding himself at the Heavenly Gates of Kumogakure. "Hm, interesting". It would be the first time hearing about the village said man came from, but it didn't surprise him that they more than likely preferred to keep a low profile until feeling comfortable enough to make themselves known to the outside world. "You said Jun, Ayuna and Mukuro were acting as the welcoming party? Very well, knowing our Mad Medic he'll take them to the Drunken Kage Bar". Putting on his hat and cloak, the Raikage thanked Dagon for the update before the two of them made their way to the famous establishment where they would make it before the others arrived.

Arriving and entering the building, the Drunken Storm quickly ordered a couple of drinks before taking place behind one of the tables. "Good, we made it in time" the Raikage voiced, noticing the others hadn't arrived yet. He placed a couple of glasses on the table and filled them with the famous sake of Lightning Country, asking Dagon if he wanted one but the Shinkou politely declined and stood in the corner and remained close as a bodyguard should. After a couple of minutes Ichigo sensed four different chakra signatures approaching the bar and eventually set foot inside. He immediately recognized the Chuunin and two Jounin, meaning the fourth individual had to be the Otokage.

With his imposing figure of six feet eight inches and boasting three hundred pounds of pure muscle, the Raikage stood up and towered over everyone present. "Welcome to Kumogakure" he voiced loudly with both arms spread wide open, signaling his shinobi to stand aside while motioning the Otokage to have a seat at the table. "I'm sure you didn't expect to meet me here" Ichigo said jokingly as he poured the both of them a drink. "However, we do things differently here in the Land of Lightning". Sitting down himself, the Drunken Storm took a sip of sake, the cup of alcohol appearing rather small in his hands.

Taking a deep breath and staring at the man in front of him he then spoke up once more. "I hope your travels went without trouble?". Ichigo recalled the last couple of times he set out on a journey and how each of them ended up in death somehow.
