Kozai was almost ready to head out of the forest and into the next area. However, he had not yet received any notification of a success or failure from his partner, Arcanis. Well, Wrath, as he liked to call himself now. He didn't know who he like more, the logical Arcanis, or the volatile, ambitious Wrath. That other side of him... it wasn't as thorough and deliberate as Arcanis. Such a thing was bad, but it had its advantages. Kozai picked himself up off a log and yawned. He stretched his arms upward to the sky, which so happened to be pretty blue, and relatively cloudless. This was in a vast contrast to the almost constantly dark skies of Amegakure, which he had just come from. It was a bit hot though, this forest, and Kozai felt uneasy. Those godlike chakra signatures were still on the edge of his sensory, and it made him extremely uncomfortable. If they sensed him here, he would probably be in big trouble. He made a careful note of the colors of these chakra, and recognized Arcanis among them. How curious, it looked like he was trying to gain access to the village. So, it wasn't a "mission complete" yet. Kozai sighed, he was getting impatient. He walked over to a lake and sat down on a small rock. This was a peaceful place to any outside observer, but the chakra near Konoha turned this entire country into a danger zone. Kozai needed to relieve stress, so he grabbed a sturdy branch above him and began to do some chin-ups. He now felt pretty damn comfortable with these exercises, and felt pretty good now.
He got up and lifted some water out of the lake. He formed it into a statue of himself and froze it, then threw it away. He had no time with such conceit. He was not a proud or conceited person, he was just somewhat greedy. So, he picked up some more water, and froze it into some coins. Hmm.... that was good. He tossed those away too, and yawned. He was a bit tired, he hadn't slept in a while. Even in Amegakure, he hadn't gotten good rest; the rain was noisy there. At this point, he was considering returning to Iwagakure to rest up and recover, then get back in contact with Arcanis when he was all set to go again. Kozai walked through the forest now, and took a close look at the wildlife. He decided that he had to go to the north now, and to go to Yukigakure, or at the very least, the land surrounding it. He had done no previous research on it yet, which was bad. He would probably not want to enter the village. Although he had just met with its kage, he doubted that Demetri had returned to that village yet. So, there wasn't much point in going there. He wondered what Lord Near was doing... hopefully not anything too reckless.
Kozai spread his arms, and froze all the dew on the plants around him. The area became frosty and chilly, and Kozai smirked. He walked away from the frozen patch, smiling slightly. Now that he had his freezing power back, there was only a clear road ahead. He walked through a small clearing, and back into the forest, and proceeded to plan. He would have to get back to Iwa soon, and didn't plan on stopping for Arcanis to deal with the godlike powers in Konoha. If Arcanis wanted to die so badly, then so be it. He would have to move forward.
