A Follow-up or an Excuse?

A few years must have passed since the time that Meika received the transplants from the institution. She had successfully adjusted to them, and found them quite of use. 

The lass figured it would be appropriate to do a follow-up so that the institute was aware of the positive results from the procedure. Perhaps the follow-up was a bit overdue, but nonetheless Meika stood at the front desk. 

Her posture was relaxed as she leaned against the desk edge, her hand holding a book as she flipped through the pages. Meika wasn't technically a dedicated reader, but she found herself hovering over a book here and there. Waiting patiently to be helped or to follow through with the visit. 

Finally having a moment to himself, Ichigo wandered the streets of Kumogakure. It had been quite some time since he paid a visit to the hospital that was made in his name, so he figured it wouldn't hurt to take the opportunity to drop by and see how things were going in the Institute of Medicine. Doing so, the Drunken Storm entered the building and made his way to the front desk where he noticed a familiar face waiting as she attempted to read a book. "Well, well. What do we have here, if it isn't our little troublemaker" the Raikage voiced while simultaneously lifting Meika up by the back of her clothes.
