Follow The Money

Ise and Toran had been called to the archives for a mission, which was … different from what the silver-haired Uchiha would normally expect. Apparently, the two of them have been tasked to go through some sort of ‘files’. The missive they had both received stated that an estate belonging to a treasonous noble had gained a lot of outside money. That was the most peculiar part that was mentioned because typically the flow of money is indeed outward, however, there appear no other traces. After reading the missive over again while sitting in his chair, trying to understand it better, Ise had finally understood why that wasn’t what one would call a good thing. The lady at the front desk of the archives had come back and forth with all of the boxes containing the files that they needed to look over, which made Ise’s eyes widen in disbelief as there were… a lot of them.

“Well, as you can see you have quite a lot of files that need to be looked over. Please look over them all, as they could more than likely help you figure out where the outside money has come from.” She said, only to leave the two of them be. Ise bowed his head with a smile while still seated, showing the lady thanks for bringing them all of the files. “Wow,” was also Ise could say aloud, staring at the numerous boxes that were placed in front of them. “Looks like we have our work cut out for us, eh?” Isemori had said to Toran, not necessarily thrilled, especially due to the fact that this mission was just the two of them rummaging through files. Ise had opened up the box in front of him, taking out one of the case files, beginning to look it over while his little brother did the same.
