Meiski watched intently, her senses on high alert as she threw her punch right at the center of the man's body, watching for any hint of movement, of a trap or some other trick, it wasn't until her fist was mere micrometers away from coming into contact with her opponents body that she noticed the first twitches of movement, quite literally at the very last moment before her attack landed the man started to move, trying to dodge to the side. Perhaps he was simply simple, but all she could think as she saw the man try to dodge was "Damn, he's kinda bad."

The attack landed of course, no matter how fast the man was dodging with such a small space between the attack and his body was not possible, and having activated two of her techniques right at the previously defined very last moment the man was struck with her full force, the attack sending him flying back with enough force to collide with the wall of the arena. Most likely the collision with the wall would be lethal, the ushitora girl didn't hold back after all as was her family's way, but she would feel a pang of sadness for what might have been had the fool not been so overconfident. Of course if the boy survived the impact she would let out an impressed whistle before continuing her assault, pummeling the man until he either forfeited or died.

But Saturn's reaction had begun when Meiski's fist began to swing towards him with the intent to punch. Thus her eyes never noticed the movement he had already made to evade her punch way before her fist ever got the chance to get within micrometers from his body. Since Lightning Jab was a simple punching move, Saturn only had to put his opponent's fist out of range to avoid getting struck by the streaks of lightning. Her fist was no more than five inches wide, small for an Ushitora. As her right fist came straight towards the center of his body from his front in a straight line, he had moved to his right by half a meter to completely evade the punch. He witnessed her punch as it went past him to the side, and she was debuffed by his split second immediately after. Their bodies were almost intertwined and her throat was now vulnerable.

Saturn continued his motion with his axe, swinging it with his left hand, and chopped off his debuffed opponent's head by dealing a fatal chop to her throat as she had failed to react to him, she had not even noticed his movement.

The one million micrometers between Saturn and the incoming fist proved to be ample space for the Genin to execute his movement to the finish and execute his opponent by beheading her in the process. Their eyes would meet as Meiski's head tumbled from her shoulders, and all regret would leave the fortuneteller's conscience as the Ushitora's soul departed from her body.

Saturn's eyes widened, his pupils dilating, as he looked first at the bright blood on his axe, then the dark blood stains that had splattered on his fist and uniform. As the crowd roared, some jeering even louder than before, he trembled with excitement. More... I'll save them. I'll save all of them. A sharp pain in his right shoulder snapped him out of his bloodthirsty high. He clutched it, and he could feel the poison from the Raikage's axe in his veins. It was spreading from the wound at his wrist, below where his hand used to be. He couldn't save anyone if he were to succumb to his injuries on the very day that he had found his calling. Now appearing calm, he proceeded to walk out of the arena through the East entrance with a newfound purpose.
