I Do It For the Future

An early morning, with the sun lighting the horizon, yet not yet showing itself. Even if it did, the plateaus gave another hour, leaving a shadowed morning as the Jounin entered the water gardens. It was time for some wake-up, and that included his exercise regime. Arashi took off his shoes, feeling the grass beneath his feet. He let the cool air wrap around him as he adjusted himself to the morning air and then took a step. And then another. Until he stepped onto the surface of the water in the Garden, where his foot stayed on the surface. He took another step and started walking to the middle of the pond. The surface was a mirror, completely calm. Even his own steps didn't disturb it.

As soon as he reached the middle, he took a deep breath and started weaving signs. Out of his back came a couple of white clouds which formed into clones. All of them faced off with each other, and all of them immediately pulled out kunais. Arashi smirked, and ran forward, while his clones did the same. In the middle, they all clashed with the sounds of metal clinging as he started to practice taijutsu and weapon handling. A lucky shot knocked a kunai out of his hand, and before he could be hit he pulled his short sword out, catching both kunais coming down to hit him. The clones looked at each other and jumped back throwing kunais at him before pulling out their swords too, and the three continued clashing. As the sun started to finally rise, Arashi was sweating, as he finally stood on the surface of the water, having both clones been defeated.

Someday... someday he would be here with Akihana, raising her to be the next generation of Hoshi nin. For the future.
