Sweeper Keepers [Gonk, Kasumi, Travin]

Kasumi was relieved to hear what Gonk had to say.  When she stopped to think about it, Gonk's words made sense.  If the Hollykage wished ill of someone, all he had to do was to teleport away, or worse yet, out of existence.  The Hollykage did not seem to be the sort that would prefer a conventional fight, so the mess they were sent to straighten up, was a legitimate one.  After picking up shuriken, senbon, and kunai, Kasumi found that a weapons rack, which had once secured polearms, had also been knocked over.  Once she placed it upright once more, Kasumi scanned the room and spied that there were a few naginata and yari on the ground.  There was even a nodachi tucked away in a corner.  It would probably have been forgotten, so Kasumi decided to take the initiative and placed it on the rack as well.  
 
Once the young Hyuuga was finished placing all of the polearms back on their respective rack, Kasumi glanced to see what the others were doing and would formulate a plan as to what needed to be done next.  She saw Travin and his clones.  They were breaking down boxes and transporting them outside.  Ryu and his clones were busy sweeping the floors. Even though the lobby was huge, they were making short work of it.  Kasumi was surprised at just how much dirt he was sweeping up.  It looked like the place hadn't been swept in years.  Gonk was the only, besides herself, who didn't posses any clones.  It was a relief to know that she wasn't the only one.  Still, Kasumi wished that her octopus puppet was finished with its overhaul.  Having eight more appendages would have been useful in this scenario.

The girl then peeked down the hallway to see if the mess continued any further.  Thankfully it didn't but as she crept further, she noticed a faint sound coming from down the hallway.  It sounded like tiny hammers.  

Oh, right.  The Hollykage did mention that he had several workers who would be on the grounds.  Didn't he say to give them a pep-talk to something?  Kasumi thought as she continued down the hall.

On the right-hand side was an archway.  Candle light spilled out into the hallway as Kasumi crept further on.  There were definitely other people in the workshop.  The girl would quietly peer around the corner and see what all the commotion was about.  The next room was a rectangular room which had a long table in the middle.  Several of the Hollykage's workers were hammering out the final touches of all sorts of ninja tools you could possible imagine.  Some were even carving out puppet pieces out of wood and fashioning them together.  But as she focused on all of the Hollykage's workers, she did not see the little guy standing directly in front of her.  

”The Hollykage is gone at the moment.  Can I help you?  If not, I'm pretty busy right now, and should go back to work,” the little fellow informed.

”Oh, uh.  Well actually the Hollykage – your boss set a couple ninja to cheer you on and give you some encouragement,” Kasumi replied, awkwardly.

The helper peered his head down the hall towards the lobby, and then, back to the Hyuuga who stood in front of him and said, [color:035b=2FDDED]”Well, since I doubt anyone would seek this building out on their own, I'll believe you in that our boss sent you.  But if you want to give this 'pep-talk', you'd best be quick about it.  We have a lot of work to do.”

The helper motioned his hand for the Hyuuga to follow and then climbed up on the end of the long table.  

”If I could have your attention please!  It seems our kage has blessed us with visitors.  This one claims that she has a message for us – straight from our Kage's mouth,” the helper said with a loud, tiny voice. ”Well, you have the floor.  Say what you need to say.”

Kasumi's heart began to race.  She was not much for speeches.  In fact, the Hollykage did not have a speech planned out for her at all.  She would have to come up with something on the fly.  Kasumi looked around the room and saw all of their little eyes staring back at her.  She would clear her throat and take in a deep breathe.

"Oh uh, hello.  It seems that all of you are working hard.  Keep up the good work.  The Holly – er, uh, I am very proud of all of you.  Keep your nose down at the task at hand and we'll all see this through,” Kasumi said as her voice shook ever so slightly; then, her eyes widened.  The Kage wanted them to pant the building with a fresh coat of bright, red paint.  ”Oh and one more thing, the Kage wants you to paint the outside walls bright, red.  That is all, you guys are great.”

The crowd let out a long sigh and grumbled to themselves after Kasumi was finished with her words.  The girl felt really bad for pawning off the job, but they were about done with their cleaning task.  Kasumi wanted to go home.  As she walked back into the lobby, she could hear some of them shouting to see who would take the painting job.  When the young Hyuuga reached the lobby, it looked that the rest of the squad had finished.  The room looked much better than it did before.  When everyone was pleased they said their farewells and stepped outside into the freezing snow.  No sooner did they step outside, Kasumi found herself back in Kirigakure's festive streets.  It was now evening as she made her way across the streets. Hollykage had stolen most of the girl's day!

I'll get you one of these days, you big bumbling idiot...
