A Brewing Storm (Training) Empty A Brewing Storm (Training)

Fri Oct 04, 2019 10:26 pm
Seiichi stood at the front of his cave and looked out. The woods were thick with the scent of rain and pine. The river near to him pushed north, away from the village hidden among dreams. The animals were active, they played tirelessly in the trees above, ran about like crazy on the surface of the ground.

Near him the bears could be heard moving around rustling on the ground. They never came near the cave. There was something about it, Seiichi thought, the cave must have some kind of past. Other animals avoided it as well. Wolves seemed to never venture towards him, always hunting far in other directions. Though, their den was close by as well.

As he searched through the area, searched the cave itself, he noticed odd carvings on the walls. Symbols of an upside down triangle with a circle around it littered the spaces. It was even carved into the surface of the caves ground, dug out with a sharp tool, smooth and non-porous, if you filled it with water it would flow easy and without any issues at all. Seiichi didn't know what any of it was. He had never seen the symbol in his life.

For now he just looked off into the distance. He could see large storm clouds moving in the distance. They were coming his way fast. It got his mind going, I have the lighting element. Water element. The clouds bellowed and flashed. What is stopping me from mastering the clouds? He thought. Pouring his chakra into his hands he could feel the energies. It was amazing. Once he couldn't be able to control water, now he was able to call it at will. In the other hand he called lightning, he knew how to do that from birth though, there was nothing new.

He could feel the energy from the storm, it almost called to him. He could hear it crying, weeping, soaking the world in it's tears. The he was begging him to control it. Just asking him to learn. He slapped his hands together, the lighting and water chakra collided and as they slapped together Seiichi could feel them fight for dominance. Almost in an instance both chakras became as lighting.

It didn't hurt though. He could remember when he tried to learn a jutsu that required water chakra when he didn't seem to have any. Pain ripped through his body when he tried. This was more like a splash, a drop of water hitting a pan, though, this pan was lighting.

He tried again, standing there and looking at the lighting, he tried to mimic it, a splash of water, a splash of lighting. He could almost feel clouds forming inside him. But, once he flashed lightning into it the clouds dispersed and he could feel the chakra break apart. He thought that lightning would course through the water filled clouds like the natural conductor it was. He wondered why it happened, why didn't water chakra act like actual water?

Seiichi tried again. The chakra in his hand built up to lighting. In the other was water chakra. He when he  slapped them together this time he could feel them fusing, the water pulsed with the lightning. he had to focus but soon they were coordinated. A cloud appeared and lighting flashed through it. It wasn't that lightning wasn't a conductor, it was that it wasn't strong enough or in the right portions. It was only then the lighting was as strong as the water that it finally fused together.

Standing in the doorway to the cave he watched as the large clouds in the distance moved toward him. He looked into the distance though, he held a storm of his own in his hands. He could sense that there was something interesting, dangerous about this chakra. Almost uncontrollable. He held it sure. Though in he felt as if he was a catalyst, a conduit of sorts. He let the chakra play freely in his hands, lightning flashing, water into a cloud, misting as you will.

He could hold the chakra when his hands were close together, clapped. When he tried to separate them the chakra flickered. It weakened. When he continued to pull them all the way apart, even when trying to keep the chakra flowing, it flickered again and diapered into water and lighting. As he held it in both hands he clapped once more. A storm arose.

He looked into the distance, it was getting closer now, it almost made him stronger, he only pictured that he could draw the energy that he needed. It was a fiction created by hist mind. He drew upon it either way. He could feel the chakra pulsing and moving, flashing, raining, turning and rolling into clouds. He could feel the extent of the power get greater. He poured even more chakra into his hands. When he saw it flash, not just a flash of lighting, but into water and lightning chakra he didn't increase his chakra. He paused it and tried to focused on a stability.

Finally he was able to control it. He pulled his hands apart and he was able to control the storm in one hand. Focusing lighting only to two fingers, water to the rest, he was able to hold it. Lighting flashed in the clouds. He could picture it. Though his hand only grew in power, showing through the darkness that the clouds of the storm brought.

It rained. As if it was going to continue for days. Drops of water that were as big as large flies. It all splashed on his clothes. Seiichi's camp fire was further in the cave and unaffected by the storm. He backed up and watched as the water poured over and down the entrance to his cave. He only had the symbols to comfort him.

He took a large stick from the fire an began to look around the back of the cave. In it he not only found remnants of a past religion, but two scrolls that seemed to detail them. One was of the Eternal Flame, though there are those that keep it and are passive in nature. There are those that seek to spread its knowledge in other ways. Then, there was that of Jashin, the scroll had only spoken of sacrificial sites and areas of worship. It failed to detail its actual cause or nature of worship. Seiichi had found his calling...
