Resuming Negotiations

Excellent. Kozai was a man used to getting the short end of the stick when it came to dealings like these, so it was a pleasant surprise to be able to proceed with his agenda for once. To be fair, it would certainly turn out to be a benefit to the village. Still, he was dealing with a kage here, so of course there would be questions as to the bloodline that he was speaking of. Well, nothing's free. Besides, this knowledge would all be very public very soon anyway.

"In short, the sharingan doujutsu can copy the jutsu of another shinobi." There were a a couple of other things that had to happen first, but brevity was needed here. "I want to use this as a collection tool in order to gather techniques from across the world and compile them within the archives." At this point, he grinned and sat back a little. "Well, ostensibly, that is. It's the Uchiha clan itself that I'm more interested in. I've met at least one of its most prominent members before, and he cautioned me against attempting to advance the sharingan 'too far', or trying to see how it interacted with other bloodlines."

Kozai had access to Denkiteki's memories, so he knew more or less what these things would already do. However, Yasaki didn't know this (he wasn't even sure the man knew who Denkiteki was), and either way it wasn't that important. Everything that WAS important, however, Kozai had already said.

"So, what's a man like me to do? Naturally, I did some digging and found out that the Uchiha clan's doujutsu can be progressed quite far. I want to see what the limit is for this clan. What do you think?"

He listened to what Kozai stated talking about the doujutsu and what it does. He doesn't even recognise that Yasaki was an uchiha himself which was somehow a good sign. He trusted him, but was curious to know this power he which speaks about. Yasaki then nodded and proceed too shake his head.  The advancing of this eye which he never heard before came up as he respectfully nodded, waiting Kozai to finish his sentences.

"Show me it and if it benefits for the village and us then surely I cannot deny can't I Kozai? As-long it ain't something not worth my time then it's fine. But just show me.." He said in a tone of calmness.

Kozai eyed the man skeptically. Did he know about Kozai's sharingan? Unlikely, but it wasn't impossible. Still, he had to tread carefully here. Nobody in their right mind played all their cards, especially when it came to kage. So, for now, he'd go through this conversation as if he wasn't hiding anything.

"Certainly. All I need, as I said before, is an Uchiha. Surely, you don't mean to tell me there are none in the village?" He remembered Denkiteki, and his genetic meddling, as well as the boys with whom he had worked briefly shortly prior to his expiration. It wasn't a guarantee, but it was more likely than not that there were others in the village with sharingan, and Kozai fully intended to make good use of their talents.

However, until he was sure that the kage was willing to give him the time and resources required for such an improvement to the archives, there was no way he was going to simply demonstrate capabilities that few had seen from him before. In all likelihood, the only ones here in Hoshi who knew of his eyes were dead and/or gone by now, and that gave him somewhat of an advantage.

Yasaki shook his head to hear the statement Kozai stated. The enthusiasm of the Uchiha raised, but all, in reality, was curious to know about this power he speaks of. The only Uchiha in hoshigakure was himself, but what if he showed him it? What would the outcome be?  

Yasaki glanced at the fellow man.“We sure have plenty but let me present something for you.” The six-foot-nine stood up as a thin of the light pink cloak was surrounding him. At that moment he eyed Kozai, smirking at him. It felt strange for Yasaki raising his big right hand with composure, planting it on his face covering one eye. Was this what Kozai was looking for? Yasaki closed his eyes and then instantly dropping them down. With the crimson eye evolving to a three tomoe, Yasaki stared at Kozai with a fierce look at his face.

“Now answer my question Kozai what is this power you speak off I shall not ask again.”

Seeing the man's display, Kozai allowed a frown to pass his face. Had the kage really waited this long to reveal his eyes? Well, perhaps Yasaki didn't want to reveal all of his cards either. With a flick of his wrist, Kozai silently produced a folder with a moderate number of papers within it. A copy of information in the back room of the archives, of course, but still with completely correct information in it. He placed on the desk for the kage's reading pleasure.

"Have at it, then. This is the comprehensive intelligence I've managed to gather, and will be made public in the archives soon." Within, the folder would have information on everything up to the eternal mangekyou sharingan that one of the previous Hogokages had so coveted. Having not gained enough information on anything beyond that, Kozai had not included anything else within the documents, but this was more than enough.

"Do you understand, now? The power alone is significant, but the ability to steal the jutsu of other villages and retain them for our own use is, without a doubt, valuable beyond compare." At that point, he, too, would activate his own sharingan. It was a preparatory measure, but also let Yasaki know that this was a serious matter for Kozai as well.

As he glared at him, with his fierce crimson eyes the giant noticed Kozai drawing out a folder supplied with a legitimate amount of papers. He picked up the book from the desk as he would grasp it with his right hand. Yasaki invariably preferred to perform for his village and look after those around him. He drew a brief peer at the folder as he watched Kozai, eyeing him momentarily. Within that moment he listened to what he stated, nodding at his words. He gathered a lot of useful information, maybe he was useful after all.

The power he seeks stated in this folder, Yasaki opened it as he would slowly read the documents. As an Uchiha, he witnessed there are stages to it. At this stage, he wielded the Mangekyou Sharingan. But to think of it not knowing another doujutsu superior to him existed. He was forty-three in age, the old man he was, but it amazed him with this book filled with magnificent intelligence. So it was the truth, Kozai wasn’t bantering around after all this was serious to him. He placed the book on the desk as he eyed Kozai.
 
“Yes, I understand this is truly something I’ve not witnessed.  I got to say you are one of the most intelligent shinobi I have seen.” His Sharingan was also active.

Kozai was substantially more surprised than he let on that the man was an Uchiha (or so it seemed), and even let a little of this show on his face. In fact, he was surprised that it had taken the man THIS LONG to demonstrate this to him. Well, better late than never, he supposed. Now that they were, so it seemed to him, of one accord, he could proceed without concern to the next step. Kozai indicated the process in the last portion of the documents that he had provided, in particular, the operation that would be required for either of them to advance to the next step.

"In that case, we have all the resources here to advance to what seems to be the final stage. With just the two of us here, and with the abilities we have at our disposal, this 'Eternal' state could be achieved by both of us simultaneously. What do you say?" Kozai would wait, of course. In the old days, when he was still in his prime, he would have merely proceeded without asking, but now it didn't seem like the best strategy. Even if he was still at his full strength, though, Kozai still preferred to conduct all his business peacefully if he could.

Yasaki scanned the room as his eyes stared at Kozai. It was either this man was a waffler but he understood his idea of this magnificent power he spoke off. The proof was given aswell a note filled with intelligence which he gathered. Of course, Kozai was being real, but Yasaki was always ready. Now he was ready as he listened to what Kozai stated next.

"Us here means business and business for me and for my villagers. Stop waffling and let's get the show started." Yasaki was irritated he just wanted to get over it either way. The truth was in front of him but he was eager to get the result. Yasaki eyed Kozai waiting on the next step it was about to begin eventually.

It seemed that Kozai had found a man after his own heart, someone brusque and direct. Good. If all went well, Kozai would commence the surgery, easily exchanging his own (admittedly "stolen") eyes with the man's and healing the kage while regenerating his own tissue, making the process seamless and comfortable (at least, as far as these things go).
Should this process be successful and uninterrupted, the process described in the documents would be fulfilled, and both of the men in the room would be fully healed and now in possession of the "final" state of the sharingan.

Kozai would blink, testing the eyes. All seemed to be working well. Good. He looked over at the man, and spoke.
"Does all seem to be working well?" In all likelihood, it had, but it didn't hurt to make sure. As far as he remembered, he'd never failed to perform a decent procedure, but this had been his first since his revival, so he wanted to double check. Experimentally, he'd indicate that he was merely about to test his new abilities, and activated the eyes hesitantly. Good, no eye strain, and a few things felt different. Yet, this wasn't what Echo, Denkiteki and others had talked about. In that case, what further was needed?
