The clone watched the destruction of the Kazekage tower and the surrounding building. What had not been destroyed by the multitude of explosions simply crumbled to the ground leaving nothing but rubble an dust. If there had been anyone in the buildings destroyed it meant little to the Nazar. They were being attacked. If any civilians chose to stay in their homes instead of fleeing, then they willingly accepted the possibility of death. Kinzoku had accepted that fact the moment he marched on his former village. Casualties were unavoidable. The clone was not going to allow a shield wall of civilians prevent him from doing what needed to be done. The large, corrupted chakra signature the clone had sensed similar to the one that had previously been at the gates was on the move. Though it wasn't getting closer to the clone. It was instead moving farther away from the clone with every passing moment. Was this individual moving on to face Kirigakure and its forces? Perhaps it was fleeing from the scene? If so there would be no stopping it from Konoha's forces. Although they had been ordered to surround the village, they would certainly not have surrounded it in its entirety by now. Nevertheless the clone remained where it was, waiting for the forces of the enemy to arrive while it waited in the shadows.

No one arrived. Not a single shinobi came at the destruction of its Kage tower. No chakra signature around could be sensed. Realization dawned on the Nazar clone like a tidal wave. No one was coming. This place was empty, no longer possessing the merit of being named one of the major villages. This was not the home Kinzoku once knew. It was a ghost in a shell of its former self. There was nothing to conquer. Nothing left to take back but the very rubble and dust the clone was looking at. Nothing worth reclaiming. Upon realizing the fate that had fallen upon Suna, the clone chose to disperse itself to bring forth all it had done and realized to Kinzoku.

All at once Kinzoku was granted the knowledge his clone had gathered. The visualization of the city's destruction and the fleeting chakra signature as it occurred. The lack of shinobi presence thereafter. The ghost town that once was a major village. It pained the Nazar to realize this had all occurred back when Kumo took over. From the moment this village was cursed to fail, and now it had. There would forever be a hole in Kinzoku's heart for what had come of his once great, magnificent home. But it was time to move one. Without hesitation he gave off a quick, ear piercing whistle which grabbed the attention of the leading shinobi around him. With two swirls of his hand he signified their departure, the viewing shinobi passing on the message to the entire army. Kinzoku himself turned from the chasm in the wall and made his way back to where he had left the swarm of horses. Once the gates of Suna were no longer in view, Steel Edge quickly receded back into Kinzoku's blood stream revealing his regular attire. Retrieving his hat stored on his horse, he gently placed it back onto his head before mounting his horse and leading the army back to Konoha. Back to his home.
