xuba smiled at cole's determination the full show of it as finally cole came into striking range. now aiming a punch towards xubas  right side of his face with a decent shot aimed at his face. notebly cole went in nice and close and into elbowing range as it was wise. to stay at a distance is questionable in close quarters combat but xuba shifted his guard to a box guard both arms up and elbows  covering sides and stomach. he shifted to the left half a foot at his max speed (185) as coles hand would brush by xubas right hand.

xuba thought as he was now barely inches from cole as  he had vision of his arms, shoulder joints, hips, head, and thighs. all needed to give xuba the idea of what to come next as it soon as there was an uppercut towards his stomach with his left hand. this xuba would rotate his hips  to the right at max speed and control the shot would be brushed off to coles right side and potentially off balance him. (speed 185, strength 60) to assist this xuba would also aim a sweep with his right foot at a tad bit slower speed, after having a gauge  of how fast cole was. His speed was going to the limits of cole's awareness. (speed of sweep: 170, strength 55) this would be to knock his attention from the right roundhouse elbow coming towards cole's  left arm at a slightly slower speed. (speed:165, strength 50) this would be intended to knock the one known as cole  back a few feet. (hopefully 3)
 
 
continuing on the assault as cole would fly backwards xuba would shift into stance and proceed with a heavy barrage of side kicks slightly above coles reaction time  at an slightly higher level of strength. first kick to the chest, second kick to the right breast, third kick aimed at coles's left breast, fourth kick aimed at cole's stomach, fifth kick aimed at cole's left shoulder to send  cole flying and spinning to to the ground. ( each of these side kicks are: speed:175, strength:75)

 xuba then deactivated the seven heavens breathing method and took to stance smiling as he would be ready to see if cole was going to stand again. his grey eyes had a smile in them  as he expected cole to get the point now to stand and continue fighting.
 
"remember cole. it is about how you fight. when up close you must be ready to defend against and assault all opportunities. in the chance where your opponent is off balanced. when you assault i block and lead, guide and flow. if i assault i keep my guard and keep my opponents options to counter or follow through with an attack limited. offense one must limit their opponent, defense you must eliminate space, and deny further offensive options. Now.... once  again cole. again keep in mind i may be faster but in the boosted enemy  shoes you must defend and strike, while striking and defend."
 
xuba stated as he continued as he stood before cole once more and smiled.

Cole got up close to try and land a few blows on Tatsuma, but before he could Tatsuma moved at a pace so fast that cole could barley make out what was happening and way to fast for him to react. Cole could tell that Tatsuma had unleashed a barrage of kicks to coles shoulders and chest. He could tell thats were he got hit because it hurt like hell. Cole got sent flying again, but this time he was ready for it as he rolled with his landing so to spread the force of the landing through his hole body. He laid their for a few minutes though as the hits was still painful. Cole listened as Tatsuma walked a bit closer to were cole landed and start to talk. He once more explained to cole what he did wrong and why he lost. Cole listened he had already learned a lot from Tatsuma and he would keep learning as long as he was willing to show him. Cole would sit up half way through Tatsuma talking and look at Tatsuma and listen. After he was done talking cole would stand up. His legs a little wobbly at first but soon he would get them back under his control. Once he was stable and ready Tatsuma would ask him if he was ready.



“I am as ready as im going to get” cole would tell Tatsuma. Then pulling all the strength he had left would cole would walk closer to Tatsuma and throw a wild right hook, but it would be a fake the punch would only at best scrap the tip of Tatsumas nose. Instead cole would use the momentum from the punch to spin to the ground and attempt a leg trip. Cole would keep an eye on how Tatsuma dodged or blocked they punch. If he blocked with his hands or moved his head back cole would do the spinning trip attack. Sliding out of Tatsumas vision in the process hoping to land they attack. If Tatsuma dodged the spinning trip attack cole would follow up by rising from the ground with an uppercut aimed for Tatsumas jaw. While keeping an eye on Tatsumas defenses. By this point cole had Tatsuma figured out a bit he understood how he fought and it was just like how cole fought. They only difference being in the delivery. While cole was more agile Tatsuma was more stable not moving unless he had to. This fight was something that cole would never forget and he would use the knowledge gained from this fight for the rest of his life.

a nod of approval as cole would stand. the battered and bruised boy had a lot of fight. Which was good and xuba was proud of Cole for pursuing such a challenge. As he knew that many would've given up awhile ago. which heartend xuba that there were people that took hand to hand in proper dedication and commitment.

xuba thought as cole responded and hence he was ready however seing as cole began with an hook punch. Now if xuba wanted to end it he would've just done a flat jab to the boy's face. However, xuba instead simply thought.

 He let it pass by scooting back an inch but for insurance threw up his guard and attempted to block it. however it was a fake in which cole would be seen ducking down for a sweep. The cruel truth was xuba did not see a guard as with such a low sweep one needed to balance the body with both hands for control, efficiency, it was also why it was risky. which xuba would not let slide at all.
 
much too risky cole. flashy, and cool, but impractical in this situation....
 
 noting the possibility that could've been used. cole went towards the ground for the xuba noted the boy making sure to watch his guard which remained stoic and sturdy, however the danger of cole's mistake was already apparent to xuba and hence he was here to teach. Thus teach he did.
 
so he is paying close attention this is good. its good to always analyze an guard, but one should not do a risky move in front of their opponent. when they are skilled.
 
xuba thought as he shifted his weight to a back leaning stance, by putting a controlled 75% of his weight on his rear leg, and the 25% on his lead leg. As cole rotated for the momentum for his sweep,  as it would be expected xuba would have his right foot lead foot as cole was coming from the right with his sweep. which would sneak behind his  right foot and touch it. at the exact same time to keep cole believing his kick was a coincidence. xuba shot his right leg out into a blindingly fast low front snap kickdue to cole being on the ground this would be aimed right at his chest where xuba was pounding away at it with side kicks a few moments ago. as quickly as the kick came it came back into a second kick being a  low roundhouse kick aimed right at Cole's right shoulder.  (speed of each kick:125, strength of each kick: 70)
 
this would pretty much destroy close hopes of the uppercut for the leg would being a sweep/leg trip momentum would have to carry for bit before he rose up for a uppercut. However xuba would as he put down his kicking leg a few inches from col'e persumedly  at his max speed would use control and power at a strength of 50 to  a strength of 50 creating a slight crack in the ground near cole's left hand if the kicks went through. harmless but to make a point. 
 
His grey eyes would flash amused but with an expectation behind it.
 
"why would an attack like that not work cole?"
 
xuba asked quizzingly as he waited for cole to get up.

Tatsuma fail for the fake as cole spun down and into a spine kick aiming to take out Tatsumas legs. However cole noticed that Tatsuma followed his movements still. The fake was not good enough cole thought to himself as he spun going down. Once he was closer to the ground and in full rotation he noticed that Tatsuma's balance shifted to they other leg. Meaning that coles attack was pointless now, but cole was not done. He would turn they attack into something else by bending his leg and increasing the momentum he had in the swing. Cole would raise his kick at the same time that Tatsuma went to land a kick to coles chest. Cole would use the opening and pour everything he had into one spinning back kick SPD 125 STR 75. He would aim the kick into the ribs of Tatsuma. With the spinning motion increased the kick that Tatsuma would throw would be aimed at coles ribs now as well, and if this worked they would both take a hit to the ribs.

Coles kick changed which impressed him alot.

He smiled as hi prepped a block to his ribs a sheild block to be percise. His lead arm would make  an angled low block with his hand rear  guarding the side of his head to  prevent a follow up kick.(block: 50 DR knocking leaf strong wind to a 25 power attack.)

As his kicks landed he still placed his foot down creating a small impact hole.

"Good job changing  up your attack. But still that was a mistake. You gotta choose wise quick attacks. As a flashy move  is nice. Only in the correct time to attack. Well.. when appropriate.  Create openings with a combination, defend, combo, and counter then follow through with an complex technique. It will help dearly with your combat. To limit  and hold back even your potential for combat. A demostration may be helpful here for this. Take a knee and observe. The clearing of trees to your right."

Xuba stated as if cole took a knee he would simply activate white heavens  by merely going into stance. Facing towards the clearing. (White heavens: +10 speed to taijutsu, and +5 strength applied after calculations)

"First of all knowing your capeability is the first thing. A strike of power and speed can create a nice wind vacume. Still its the punch that matters. I would like you to study this and tell me where i couldve done this in our bout."

He stated with a smile at cole and with the appearance of a graceful punch he would punch with the grace speed and power. Although it was one punch versus the usual 5 at high speed. (Evening elephant: +90 speed, +65 strength, final speed: 225( 90 +10 from white heavens.) Final strength: 140) The point was easily to make as xuba was doubtful that cole could see it.

The punch would strike a tree and through skill and power the strike cleanly went through as simple as hitting some paper. One may even say it  was like breaking a twig. The tree severed would toppel backwards however a gigantic wind colom  would errupt from behind the tree roaring as there seemed to merely be a storm errupting behind and beyond the tree.

When the wind died down xuba turned towards cole and  smiled.

"Any time a technique can be used. But still the point is simple. That was a simple punch. No need to duck down to sweep. Merely a strike at its finest. But i can throw five of thoes. In little to no time. To block and defend is good. But to add a counter like that is devistating. Alone it ends a fight. The simpler it is. The more effective it normally is. You always start an attack with basics. Never dip to advance stuff. Or risk being broken down."

Xuba stated as he rolled his shoulderand smiled at cole.

"What did you learn?"

Tatsuma had blocked coles attack even after he changed the direction and went for a hole new attack all together. It was true cole would not be able to defeat Tatsuma in his current abilities. At least not in straight taijutsu he thought to himself. He had given it everything he had and more and in return he got pain and knowledge. He figured that it was an even trade after all, and just hopped that he was at least entertaining enough. Tatsuma told cole to take a knee and he did with out question. For the first time since they started their little sparing session cole was able to relax just enough to take the tension out of his shoulders, and really take a few deep breaths and look around once more. They was in the clearing and facing the tree line opposite of the side with the bushes. Most of the big game animals in the area deer and such had left with the fighting going on, but some of the smaller game like rabbits had still stuck around, and could be seen walking or hopping around in the back ground. Cole took a moment before Tatsuma started to talk again to take in the area once more. It was quit breath taking, but their was quit a few areas in hoshi that was beautiful.


Tatsuma started to talk and explained a few more things before getting down into his fighting stance. Though a little different than the one he used against cole. Cole then watched as took a few deep breaths and then threw a punch with such speed that cole could barley follow the direction that it was going. At the end of the punch a wind stream went off destroying a tree and blowing a few more around behind it. Holy shit cole thought to him self finally seeing what Tatsuma could really do. That tech was as powerful as the strongest jutsu he had at the moment. If not more powerful because of Tatsuma being the one using it. Cole shuttered to think about how painful that tech would be to get hit by, and hopped that he never found out either. Tatsuma then turned and faced cole once more and started to talk explaining some more stuff about their fight.

After his little speech cole could see that he rolled his shoulder a bit and added "What did you learn?"


cole thought about it real hard at first. He besides the obvious answer of never fight a fair fight with someone stronger than you. He had a few answers to give to tatsuma. “Well first off I would have to say to stay on your good side” cole would say with a bit of a grin. Before adding “but in all seriousness the most important thing is to never fight someone with out knowing what they are capable, and if you do fight on the defensive side. Till you know how to take them out while never showing a weakness in you defense, and striking when they show you their weakness. Also to never start a fight with a fancy move” he would would say that last part almost with a bit of depression in his voice. Like a child that just got scolded for breaking something and had to go tell the owner they was sorry. Cole would than thank Tatsuma for everything that he showed him, and would like to go again sometime if they opportunity arises. He would then stand up and before going to leave would ask he Tatsuma would mind showing him the block that he used inside outside block and the chain fist that he used in the fight with him.



If Tatsuma agreed cole would watch or listen to Tatsuma demonstration or explanation and do what he said if he wanted to use cole in a slow motion type teaching session of the two jutsu.

Coles awnser satisfied xuba sufficently and he smiled.

"Good you are already learning. You can easily guage an opponent at a glance. As assuming can be dangerous. But a solid study of the opponent. How much grace they have? Why do they move a certain way? Their prefered stance? A taijutsu practiconer can see another a mile away, and can spot the clumsy motions of one who did not practice as hard. Then there is the guaging of skill. The opponents choice of approach. These all add up."

Xuba added as he laughed at coles request. A geniuin laugh as he relaxed and nodded.

" the block is easy. Any artist should know to move an attack away from the center of your body. Just like dodging. A fist is easy, a sword is difficult, a jutsu unless in the hands is impossible. Once you knock away the attack depensmding on your foot and positioning you can do an easy  counter strike. Blocking and stepping at an angel solves alot of problems."

Xuba stated preforming the simple jutsu at hand as in example. The angels xuba emphisised on as the pointbof a defense was making it difficult and forcing opponent would make a mistake, or just flat out countering the fool.

"The five strikes are known from an art of speedy motions. The rapid assault of the chain fist is simple. Quick and accurate attacks in various angels to assure a hit. Depending on power it can be devistating. Hitting a tree assures both power and control. As in hand to hand you must be vigilant and swing momentum in your favor. Not others. Thats why i do simple attacks. To give no momentum."

Xuba stated preforming the chain fist combination on the tree. After which he merely watched cole as he would hlpefully repeat the techniques back to him.

Cole watched and listened to tatsumas explanation of the in to out block he had used on cole at one point on their fight. After cole would mimic the block tech looking at Tatsuma for approval before moving on to the next jutsu. The block was very simple like Tatsuma said it would be it was just the simple common sense ability to move things away from center mass. Cole knew that Tatsuma was right that blades would be a lot harder to deflect using this jutsu over hand to hand, and he knew that he still had a lot to do to be on par with Tatsuma in the field of straight taijutsu as well. However opening the door for all types of fighting would tighten the outcome of a fight between them, and maybe one day cole hopped that they could spar again with no limitations, but that was for another day, and for now cole was just happy with the possibility that they could work together at some point.


The next tech was the chain fist tech that Tatsuma had used on cole in the fight as well. Tatsuma had used it to land several punches to cole. Cole thought as he remembered the pain that the blows had left his in his hip. Now almost gone but still left a small throbbing to remind cole of the damage that had been done. Tatsuma told cole that the chain fist was a simple tech of a style used for fast strikes. It consisted of up to five punches all at max speed. Tatsuma would walk over to a tree and cole would follow and watch as tatsuma would hit the tree five times in short order. Cole could tell that tatsuma was holding back the lions share of his power in the demonstration, but the tree still groaned with the hits even though. After cole would step up after Tatsuma took a step back and would give it a try himself. The tech was very simple and a basic that cole thought that he should have already gotten down. Then cole remembered what his father had told him once. It never to late to go back to the basics when you think you have them down they change and something else comes out as basic.



After the getting the hand of the techs cole would turn and think Tatsuma and offer him a hand to shake. Thanking him for everything that he had showed him, and for pointing out the weakness in coles defense's. He would tell Tatsuma that maybe one day they could go again and see who was better, and that maybe it might happen at the chuunin exams if he was competing as well. After cole would take his leave and walk back out of the forest the way he came in. It was starting to get late and cole needed to get home before the sun went down or their wouldn't be any food left for him to eat.
