Two Moons, One Wolf

"Alright" Love replied; eyeing his stance as she got into one of her own. She didn't recognize it but it was certainly combative and a lot more frightning than the gentle fist stance Love was standing. With the formation of this stance also came the activation of her clan's dojutsu. It would be a great oppertunity to see how Salzem's chakra flowed when he used his kekkei genkai, to give Love a better idea of how it worked. Noticing that the male hadn't made a move even though Love was on guard she saw this as him giving her the first hit. Although it is something she never does Love charged towards the male. This being a spar and all she didn't see the harm in stepping out of her comfort zone. Her right hand would go forward, going for his chest, and the left going for his abdomin, around where his kidney would be.

Love was attacking with a simple gentle fist attack and her speed would be 45 while her strength would only be at 35. She didn't want to her the male but she also didn't want him to think there was nothing behind her attacks.

Salzem casually stepped out of the way of both Love's strikes, stepping to the right at a speed of 50, gently nudging her arms further off course with his elbows, raising them as her hands flew past so that they pushed her arms away. Her attack wasn't really anything to be concerned over and, in fact, he likely could've taken her out right there but what fun would that be? Better question: How fair would that be? No, instead, he wanted to make this less about winning and just about having a good time! After all, How could one not have a good time when they were beating the life out of each other?

As Love's attacks flew past, Salzem would swing around, spinning on his heels and, using his momentum, would slam his elbow into Love's nose, hitting hard enough to likely knock her on her butt if it hit, but not enough to do any real damage besides a bit of bruising really (speed 60, strength 40).

He wouldn't let the younger hyuuga recover cleanly, however, following up with a low-kick to her lower right leg (speed 65, Strength 40) then a swift straight kick to the center of her chest, intending to send her sprawling into the sand behind her (speed 70, strength 42). Should these attacks succeed, Love would certainly be feeling sore, perhaps even bruised where the lycan had struck her but she would be no worse for wear... It was a good pain... an energetic pain, the kind that told you were just warming up.

Love clinched her jaw when Salzem gracefully moved out of the way. Seeing that he was superior to her in speed she would no longer hold back. With his elbow closing in on her face, Love quickly made the Tiger, Boar, Ox, Dog, and Snake hand seals (90 speed). Upon impact there would be a puff of smoke and Love will have turned into the bench that was sitting behind the male. Sending a succession of high and low kicks towards his face and torso, should he dodge them Love would, just as quickly as before (90 speed), perform the Bird, snake, dragon, horse, and ox hand seals in an attempt to zap him, moving at 55 speed. Should she be successful in that she would then assess his body to see if hew would attempt to shake off the cramp and attack again.

Love managed to weave her seals, but instead of body-flickering away or using an offensive jutsu, she simply turned into a bench on top of the bench already sitting behind him as if that would give her any cover. Salzem's attack would still go through, not stopping in the least, his elbow slamming into the illusionary bench before him followed by a quick rising knee to the underside (speed 100, strength 50). If both hits struck, Love would be on the ground, incompasitated from the blows, unable to take another. If somehow she was able to move out of the way, if she chose to, this would be when she'd unleash he high and low kicks, breaking her cover (as terrible as it was). Of course, the lycan would deftly duck out of the way of each one, though with distinctly more effort than Love's last attack before the began weaving signs at a speed of 90, her hands sparking as she ran at him at a speed of 55.

The lycan reached his shoulder and drew one of his blades, olympia, and made a horizontal stabbing motion, aimed at her lower chest. Of course, due to how dull the sword was it wouldn't go in too deep (only 50 sharpness), nor did he stab anywhere that was fatal or even especially painful (speed 105, strength 40). If somehow she ran into the blade, that'd be unfortunate, however, the lycan would retract his weapon at he last second, hoping to stop her, not stab her.

After avoiding the elbow attack Love was faced with a knee that she also evaded. Once in the clear she would launch her kicks, sadly Salzem just danced around them. Although that didn't stop Love from moving on to her next attack. As she dashed toward the male she noticed him reaching for something strapped to his back. Love watched him swing this four foot long, oddly shaped blade? The young kunoichi stopped but still felt a strangle tingle across her stomach. Reaching her hand to it, she touched the blade. This thing was made of metal right? If not there would be no effect it would appear as though she stopped mid-spar to examine the bizzare weapon.

Salzem was about to make some kind of fencing-like thrust towards Love as she examined this sword, seemingly with great interest before the lycan paused, going still... thinking... after a moment of stillness, the lycan sheathed his sword back away before raising his hands, signalling that he was stopping the fight all together rather than just right now.

"Listen... Love... I have to go do something I completely forgot about... I'm sorry..." Salzem would then take another step forward, pulling the smaller girl into a hug, an embrace of thanks for taking this time out of her life for him.

"I'll see you back home."

And like that... he was gone... disappeared in a cloud of sand.

The abrupt stop of the blade confused Love, she looked from it to the person wielding it. The taller male, having sheathed his sword, would take steps towards the girl. He didn't seem to be pulling anything sly but Love was still on guard. "Oh, ok." Love would reply after the male spoke, the second word being muffled by his close proximity. As he had wrapped his arms around the Hyuuga, in a hug, that she reciprocated. "Cool." She would say in response as the male said his goodbye and disappeared. Love would then also leave to tend to other matters, the first of which she would do immediately. Reaching into her ninja pouch she pulled out two pills, wrapped in a tissue, and ate them.
