The Wolf and the Snake [P, IO, FTD]

Starker Coyote wondered around on the country borders near Konoha and Suna, looking for someone to fight. Since he had been on the borders, he thought that he needed some more ryo to buy more weapons, his wakizashi had not been enough. Now, he was money-crazed. He hoped to find someone to kill and rob.

Orochihama was also meandering along the borders, admiring the scenery. She was not looking for anyone at all to fight, but she was hoping to find someone nice and friendly. The more friends she had, the better. She saw someone coming down the pathway. She was on a dirt road, the area around her completely devoid of trees or rocks. This was a barren place, as it was near Sunagakure. Judging by the boy's headband, he was from there. "So, you're a suna ninja, huh? Nice. How's it going over there?" She would hope that he would be nice and not attack her.

Starker saw a girl from Konoha coming towards him. She greeted him, asking him how things were going over in his village. He grinned. "Oh, things are just fine." He sized her up; she looked pretty weak. Easy pickings, huh. He would draw his wakizashi and attack her, hoping to slice off her head.

The boy lunged at her with his wakizashi. Because he was slower than she was, she would dodge, the blade barely missing her neck. She now realized that coming to the borders may have been a mistake after all. She resolved to end this battle quickly, even if it meant killing the boy. He looked reasonably weak, and would not be worth devouring with her Living Corpse Reincarnation jutsu. She would back up to about 10 meters away from the Suna brat and perform the bird hand seal. "Doton: Doryuso!" An earth spike would come out of the ground, flying at 30 speed toward the boy's heart. It would have health and strength of 50. If this hit, it would instantly kill the boy.

Starker didn't even have time to react. The spike would come at him faster than he could move. He realized that this girl was much, much stronger than he was and as he died, he knew he had been too arrogant.

Orochihama looted the boy's body, then picked it up and returned to the village. She was not very happy anymore, having just killed someone. She knew that she would have to report to that handsome devil, Navi-san. Come to think of it, she looked forward to it.
