Before the gennin left Komon would be sure to offer him some advice he had thought up while falling to his death. “I noticed everything seemed to go wrong on your descent. I’m going to assume this was because you didn’t know how to land. I recommend practicing that portion of your flying without being on the bird, you have a 40 meter range with this technique which means you can control it safely from the ground if you wish, let the wings glide the bird down and then give a few weak flaps in the end to soften the landing.” Komon felt it would be good advice for the boy since he obviously wasn’t a fan of flying.

The technique still had it uses though even for someone who didn’t want to get his feet off of the ground. And it was important for Sakana to utilize them. After he had wrapped up his advice he said goodbye before turning to head home, it had been a long day and rest was well earned to say the least.
“Gennin are gonna be the end of me” He muttered not loud enough for sakana to hear as he walked off checking his rapidly beating pulse.
