Mysterious Footprints (Io, Youka)

Spooky spooky forest, yes it was. Hikari could never understand why some guy had decided to grow a bunch of trees around Kumo and how exactly, but she was quite grateful that it was so. Trees meant altitude, altitude meant that one had a greater access to a Titan's neck. And at this point, it seemed that she indeed was going to be Titan hunting. She was still a bit confused on how people were being eaten during nighttime due to the Titans relying on the sun for energy, but it was most likely either Abberant behavior or something much more sinister. She didn't dare think of those sinister thoughts though, so instead she chose to plop herself down in the crater of a giant footprint, whistling a merry tune while mindlessly fingering her scythe and two pouches of ninja wares, waiting for the Raikage to show up so that they could start the investigation.

Walking into the forest for actually the first time since he had taken over Kumogakure Mortarion couldn't help but feel relieved that everything was behind him now. His strides carried weight to them due to the armor he had been restricted to due to the bijuu attempting to turn his insides to mush. Taking in the surroundings he couldn't help but help a little underwhelmed by this entire thing. He had agreed to it earlier in the day of course but as he thought more and more about it the idea of giant humanoids roaming seemed a little far fetched.

Reaching the meeting area they had agreed on he took stock of the young girl in front of him and couldn't help but notice her weapon and how it was a scythe just like his own, of course a different variant of course. Why she was sitting in the giants footprint was beyond him but to be fair the girl herself was a little on the strange side.

"Good evening, I hope you're ready for a little exploring. As this is your mission and i'm just playing back up I will follow your lead, so lead."

“Somewhere, over the rainbow….” Hikari would whistle as she saw Youka come into the clearing, his body now covered in an armor that she was slightly envious that he had. Sure, her naturally dense bones helped but in all honesty a strong bone structure will not stop you from getting crunched by a titan after all. Listening to her Raikage attentively she would stop her whistling as she stood up with a great stretch before morphing her scythe into its rifle form, which she would hold in her hands while she would talk. “Well Youka, I think I am ready. And if you want me to lead..” she would point towards another footprint facing away from the one she was currently in, and the small trail of blood leading in the same direction. “We shall be heading in that direction. Shall we?” Knowing that if they did indeed find Titans she would most likely have to engage in an aerial battle she would run up a tree into one of the higher branches before beginning to follow the trail from above, making a quick glance behind her to make sure that Youka hadn’t decided to skip out for some reason as she rested her rifle against her shoulder.
