Finally Free (IO, NK)

Kyumo was a little caught off guard. You can feel better? As in, not be in pain all the time? This is shocking to the boy, though he didn't show it. "So you mean to tell me that not all people are always in pain?" he asked, genuinely curious. "And this whole 'nice' thing does not seem real. Who would just help people if they didn't get benefits as well? And even then, people still do not just lend a hand," he said, more of a statement than anything. What was this guy talking about? Not being in pain every second? Helping others even though you get no personal benefit? These ideas must be some poor soul's mindless daydreaming. "If you are attempting to fool me, I do not find it funny, whatever 'funny' means. Please drop the act."

Kurasa was wondering if Kyomo was messing with him or something but after waiting a second or two he did not hear him laugh or anything and assumed he was serious. Then Kurasa responded "no im serious im not joking around that's how it really is, and not being in pain something most people feel all the time, pain is not usually something one feels the majority of the time Kurasa said to the poor soul. Now they were pretty much right there at Kumo approaching the main gates on top of a huge as pet called Little T who would possibly say anything? But anyway still he needed to hurry if he wanted to save this boys life. Kurasa decided going to his mother for medical attention as he did not want the people at the hospital looking at him funny and blaming him for the boys condition like they probably would. He also did not want to be treated like some sort of insect who was just in the way so all the more reason to go to his mom for help on a matter like this. But even still what would his parents say about him riding on top of a dinosaur covered in snow, carrying a wounded boy with no jacket? Just the fact he had no jacket would cause his mom to go on an angry rant that would last for days whenever she was reminded of a jacket. Kurasa remembered one time when he had forgotten to wear his boots in the snow and how wore his good sneakers then ever time after that he had wanted to wear them his mom went on and on about how he could not being as he had ruined them.

Kyumo laughed, just a little. And it was more of a vain laugh than a real one. "You can not honestly expect me to believe that most people are not always in pain. And there is no way that people can just go around helping others. It is absurd that you would expect me to believe so," he stated, looking ahead. He wasn't stuck up or anything. Oh no, more than the opposite, actually. He just couldn't wrap his head around this. "Go live 14 years in my life and you wouldn't believe yourself either."

Kurasa was honestly surprised at the fact that this boy really believed that pain was experienced at all times. He wondered Kyumo had been a subject of testing perhaps or if he had been put under physical strain and ridicule like Kurasa had been put in emotionally. Kurasa looked at Kyumo and say "yes honestly people are not always in pain watch you will see my mom is going to patch you up good." By this time they were at the village and walking through the village as if two kids riding on top of a dinosaur was normal. But regardless of what people would think Kurasa had to help Kyumo.

"I still do not believe you. After spending 14 years in the hole I call my life, I just can't," he said. He noticed they had arrived in a village. the villages seemed... familiar somehow. Like a very distant memory. It also wasn't so cold in the 'village', not like it was on the mountain top. Kyumo had never seen buildings like these, or so many people before in his life. it was all strange, and he felt even smaller than he usually did. The stares from bystanders didn't help either, especially since he was riding on a giant dinosaur.

Kurasa after listening to Kyumo talk wondered what Kyumo meant by him being in a hell hole. Kurasa being interested asked "what do you mean by hell hole?" Upon asking this question Kurasa had to tell Little T to stop because they had arrived in front of his house and Kurasa did not want Little T walking over the lawn. He knew that when his mother saw Little T that she would shit bricks but then when she saw Little T on her lawn she would flip shit. Kurasa knew his parents would be out soon so he wanted Kyumo to respond before his parents came out.

Kyumo noticed they had stopped front of what had appeared to be a house. Not really ever going outside, or even leaving the basement for that matter, it seemed different that he imagined. So this is a house... he thought, scanning the building. The words of the person near him then registered in his mind. "What do I mean?" he said, the emphasis of the sentence on the last word. Sorry, but I can't tell you... It's too much... he thought regretfully. He hesitated for a few moments, carefully picking his words. "It is no concern to you the conditions in which I have lived in my entire life. However, I will say they were not pleasant in the least," he said finally. in a tone that suggested he didn't care about it. "What is your name? I do not believe you mentioned it."

After Kyumo spoke Kurasa decided not to pry anymore into his personal business no matter how obviously scarring it appeared to have been. Kurasa introduced himself as Kurasa and just in that instance he saw his father come out from the house. His dad simply looked up at him and shook his head. "Your late Kurasa" is all his dad said. Kurasa knew that his dad did not have to give him hell because his mother certainly would. Just then his mon came out screaming like a maniac "Kurasa WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT AND WHAT IS IT DOING ON MY LAWN?" Then she saw that I had somebody with me and changed her voice to a nice calm voice instantly and said "oh hi are you one of Kurasa's friends? If so come In and have a drink or something." she said this while staring at Kurasa with a stare that basically said he was going to get jt later. Kurasa looked at Kyumo and said "well shall we go in? Weather Kyumo wanted to or not Kurasa would sling him over his shoulder yet again and walk carefully down Little T's tail. Then he would walk toward his front door making sure to walk ok the path so his mom would not drop kick him.

Kyumo first saw a man come out of the 'house', which immediately made him tense up. Most of the Masters were men, and so was Father. Then a woman came out and immediately started screaming, throwing in one particularly colorful word in as well. Screaming and cursing... the masters always did that. He then tensed even more, his eyes shut tight. If these people were anything like Father or the Masters, he would... He didn't know what he would do. It was then that the woman's voice changed as she directed a question at himself. Kyumo merely looked her way, dead-looking blue eyes meeting her own, and answered in a passive tone, "I am not sure. What exactly is a friend?" He honestly didn't know what a friend was, barely having even heard the word before. He then felt himself being lifted again. As before, he struggled, but not as much. Oh, how he hated being carried.

As Kurasa carried Kyumo he struggled but not as much as before. Kurasa had determined that apprently Kyumo did not like being carried and Kurasa decided he would not carry him anymore until neccessary. Kurasa's mom countinued with her passive aggression giving Kurasa that stank look she usually gave him and talking to Kyumo when he could not see her in a nice soft tone. "Dear we will patch that right up" Kurasa's mom said to Kyumo. Kurasa knew that this meant him and his father would have to have a sever spar later as they often did and as usual Kurasa would lose. His father who had been silent eyed Kyumo curiously no doubt probably thinking that Kyomo was trying to trick them some way some how. Kurasa noticed his fathers darkness seeping from below his pants which he only did when he was either angry or cautious.

Kurasa's mom told Kurasa to lay Kyumo down on the couch so she could treat him. Kurasa would obey putting Kyumo down on the couch and would allow him to lay. Kurasa would then get up and back up as his mom motioned him to do so since Kurasa was in the way of his mother's work. "go take care of your friend outside and bring him over to the side of the house" Kurasa's mother said to Kurasa on a stern voice. Kurasa would walk out of the room to handle Little T while his mom would deal with Kyumo. "so how are you doing honey, what's your name mine is Kurama" Kurasa's mother would ask while applying her hands on Kyuko's chest. Weather or not Kyuko allowed it or not Kurama would allow her hands to flow with chakra allowing her healing to take place which would heal the boys wounds in a couple of minutes.
