After a long rainy night, the clouds would still be looming over the village of Kumo. The ground was still moist with water as everyone went about their daily lives as usual. Syaoran however would just be waking up into a house ravaged by anger. He would awaken from the cold ground of his room and yawn rubbing his only visible eye as he went to the bathroom to go wash his face. Taking off his bandages he would wash his face and put on fresh bandages over his right eye and get dressed. His chuunin apparel would be under his usual clothing as he tied his head band onto his forehead as he grabbed his sword and walked out into the kitchen.
Going into the kitchen he would fix just a simple sandwich and a side of rice as he ate in silence. Last night was painful and today was no different but he felt better. As he finished the food he would hear a knock at the door, sighing he would get up and go to the door only opening it and taking the message after walking out. The message was another mission as usual that would take him into the sewers which was not a surprise. He would be getting sent on all kinds of missions lately and it was getting kind of boring. It message also said he had a partner and he would know who it was when they arrived although he probably knew who it was. He would just now arrive at the point where he was supposed to meet his partner and talk about the mission before going into the nasty diseased ridden sewers to find something that was down there. He would now pull from his backpack a sandwich and eat it as he waited for him to come hoping he would not be late.

In a flash, the young and powerful jounin, Ganki, would appear right next to Sya, to begin their mission together once more. It has been some time since the two had seen each other, ever since the last S rank mission they had completed. Ganki sort of missed the chuunin, since the village tends to get lonely sometimes. His Jounin flak jacket would be fasten tight to Ganki’s body, his weapon sack would be fasten to his left back side. He then looked over to Sya as Ganki was left to him, looking to see him eating away at a sandwich. Hey um Sya, how come every time I see you, you are always eating something? And the worst part is you never bring me anything to eat, that’s cold Sya. But anyways, let’s get this mission over with.” Ganki said this as he then removed the manhole, tossing it to the side. He then dropped to the bottom sewer; he had been down her already, so he knew the many levels that were to await them.

Once the two would make their way down to the nasty floors of the sewers, it would be pitch black as no one could see a thing. Ganki would reach into his pocket and grab a lighter that belonged to his old friend, Izuno, the two were known for doing terrible things as children. He would then flick the light as it would reveal the horrible setting that they were standing in. The walls were caked with grim and filth, the floors would move as the rats would scurry along in and out through empty cans and shoes that had holes in them. The place could only be described as a cesspool of disease, a hell on earth for those who are the neat freaks. “You hear that Sya”, Ganki said as he heard a noise that was coming from the end of the sewer hallway. It would be sounds of growling, sounds that yearned for something to eat. Yes, it was the reason why the two were called in on this B ranked mission, it was the Thing they were after.

Ganki, while holding the lighter in his left hand, would point it towards the direction of the noise. “Ok, on three we attack, full power since we don’t know what were up against.” Ganki would pull out a kunai knife with his right hand, he was ready for anything. When Ganki took a few steps closer, it would reveal the monster that was making noise, a loose gate. Ganki frowned at the sight; it would appear to be a loose rattling gate hinge that made noise when it would be hit with a little breeze of wind. “Dang, well that’s a little disappointment, guess we better fix this’, he said as Ganki would walk towards the gate. Once he was there, he pushed his body against it, putting that loose hinge back in place, “Well, I guess this mission is done, see ya Sya, and bring me some food the next time we meet, I’m starving .
