Chuunin Exams: Minato vs Tadashi

"That's all you got?!" Tadashi challenged Minato in his subconscious, yet a competitive glare towards his opponent was all he needed to do to convey said emotion. The ginger would not be too surprised that Minato was able to dodge the Blast Wave since he began to understand that the Uchiha had around the same amount of speed as the ginger. The Ace was shocked because he was prepared to be much slower than the Uchiha, but somehow they were comparable in speed. This was, a delightful surprise that Tadashi would take advantage of.

Seeing the distance of Minato and him, Tadashi would get into a grounded stance for a split second before dashing towards the Uchiha in a newfound burst of speed just before Minato formed the Snake hand seal and just as Blast Wave ended. A technique that was naturally learned and taught by inspiring swordsmen, it was called Bull Rush. This allowed the teen to catch up to Minato a fair amount, closing the distance between them from 25 meters to 15 within the dash. A perturbing thought came through the ginger as he stared down the man while dashing, "Form." The single thought flooded through the Namikaze's mind as three weaponry blades, 3 meters long and 3 feet wide were projected in a bright turquoise light. Two were held and formed on the ginger's left hand and the other was on his right; Tadashi held them all from the middle of the hilt which measured about 20 centimeters of the 3 meter long weapons. Around the same time that the projections were created, Minato's hair-projectiles would be charging towards the ginger. Nevertheless, Tadashi continued by making the blades being suspended in the air through an invisible chakra disk in front of them in an instant. Each blade matched the direct area and direction of Minato's 3 projectiles.

Immediately after being formed and suspended in front of the ginger, the would fly in lightning-fast speeds towards each projectile leaving scarlet red trails from Ryusei. At this time would the ginger stop in his tracks, being around 15 meters away from Minato and not wanting to progress further. The respective projectiles would clash, as Tadashi's projections easily pierced through Minato's sturdy hair constructs. The hair would be destroyed as each projection charged towards Minato in the same area and manner the Uchiha's projectiles would have hit Tadashi. Coupled with projections moving speeds well above Minato's running speed and Reaction Time in a 15-meter distance, the blades would most meet skin in a near-instant after being launched. The force of the blades would force Minato's legs to clack and lose balance, his body tumbling onto the ground in an honorific display. The blades would immediately pierce through Minato's sides and stomach as he fell before dispersing into specks of turquoise dust. The attack wouldn't kill the man, but would very well cause him to be unable to fight. The rest of the hair projectiles would most likely be deactivated from Minato's loss.

"Well done...comrade." Tadashi would ponder for a moment, still using Bull Rush to run to Minato.

Drip. Drip. Drip.

The rhythmic noise of metallic red liquid slowly dripped down from the Uchiha's three clogged holes across his stomach. Tadashi wouldn't be frightened of Minato's current predicament; he had gotten more than accustomed to seeing the release of human blood. In fact, it could only be called respect to bear the lasting image of your victory against an opponent which reveals one's resolve to win. Anything other than that was weakness and weaklings did not deserve the victory. It was a cruel truth, yet simply a mere result of living in the Ninja World. Thus far, the inner musings of Tadashi still wondered if the ginger truly won against Senhime during the Sunagakure Invasion. Was he trying to find a sense of self-worth, so he jumped towards a brief opportunity to "help" the Kirigakure swordsman Hayate? A perturbing thought like that truly frightened the Namikaze, unintentionally discovering his inferiority complex. Tadashi was a coward, but he still wanted to live. Victory could only keep his mind at ease, the ginger's personal state of true equilibrium. The ginger didn't believe it was a tragic fate, nor one romanticized by jubilation.

As the sword-constructed projections stabbed deeper into Minato, the Namikaze sharpened his glare, using the last regulated remnants of Dragon Blood to release the framework constructions from existence. The ginger chased down the falling and nearly unconscious figure of the Uchiha as if it were fate beckoning the young boy to catch Minato. So Tadashi fulfilled his task, catching Minato easily. 

"Hesitation is defeat..." The teen thought solemnly once looking at Minato's now unconscious body. The two were evenly matched in the battle in combat prowess, but Tadashi only fought out of pure instinct. The thought of losing once more in the Chuunin Exams was engraved in his mind, so there was no need for hesitation, only winning. The Namikaze could empathize with Minato due to understanding that for the first time battling in the Exams, people usually second-guess themselves all the time while fighting. The true way to fight is by having a clear mind.

Carrying the unconscious Uchiha to the charging Medics running towards the arena, Tadashi would be left all by his lonesome. Suddenly, a euphoric feeling coursed through the ginger. After a year of training, he finally did it. A small smirk was plastered on his face before he rose his right hand while clenching it upwards, the left one still in his pockets. The cheers and jeers of the audience grew louder and louder at Tadashi's simple action. It felt so surreal, like something you'd see out of a comic strip. Scanning the audience's stand, the ginger's eyes would stop at the 3 Kage's seats. He felt confused even imagining 3 Kage's, but nevertheless it was what it was. While looking at the Kage stands, it dawned on him that Konoha still was in need of reconstruction. Kirigakure was still the main issue, but the ideology and militaristic state of the village needed to be reformed. Man can't change a nation, but men can. Tadashi would exit the arena triumphantly. Possibly winning the Chuunin Exams can earn more trust of his comrades and citizens so that the ginger can start working on the development of Konoha.

That is if he can best two more opponents...
