Tadashi's confused face about his incident with the bunny quickly switched to a one less aloof and more brought back to reality, it was mostly Feza's cheer of encouragement that brought him back to life, and not thought-provoking events. The crimson haired Genin would turn his head towards Feza as he clenched his fists in determination, one not blinded by rage and broken pride, but one with calmness and resoluteness, "Yeah, I'm going to beat this guy no matter what. I've been training, sweat and blood these past few days, and it would be a disgrace to ninja if I can't beat a simple bandit." He said, his voice unwavering, his golden eyes focused, yet holding no ill will or malice. His calm look would then turn easygoing with a smirk, while he would divert the subject to something else, and the first thing that got to his mind was this, "Hey Feza, do you know that the Chunnin Exams are starting soon?" After that, Yen would explain to Tadashi about the Temporary Paralysis Jutsu as the crimson haired Genin nodded to his simple yet well-explained sentence, while a question just popped up, "Yen, it says in my ninja handbook that Temporary Paralysis Jutsu requires the Tiger hand seal, yet I did it with none, what does that mean?" He would curiously say.

Saln nodded as Yen merely conceded to him, remarking how his choices were his own! That's RIGHT they were! He had a plan and everything! He knew how everything was gonna work out so everyone could just relax! He did, however, frown and tilt his head as Suzume suggested that he become a medical ninja, ninja who often dissect and cut apart living and dead people, ninja who were just as deadly in battle with their chakra-scalples and poison arts. He shook his head as he continued to contemplate what profession he'd find himself in... Ah, but only as a formality to be polite to the person that suggested it. He already knew what he wanted to do...

"I'm gonna cast Genjutsu!" He snickered lightly! He had once contemplated beating people up, using martial-arts to subdue them... Salzem would've been proud of that... But could he really save more lives with his fists than he could with a dream? He didn't think so... If he changed how people thought... took the aggression from them... then how would there be war to punch people in? If nobody felt the need to fight, then why specialize in fighting?

No.

He was his own person... As much as he admired Salzem for all his positive attributes, he was not him... He would find his own way and, more specifically, find peace that he would bring upon the world!

"I'll be an illusionist and I'll change how people think!" Saln exclaimed, having come to this conclusion. He didn't seem to recognize the insidious implications that came with his wording but hey... he was but a child. "If nobody wants to fight, then we'll have no more wars!"

Tadashi's claims are approved.

The insight Yen passed on to her did give somewhat of a shock. Previously, Suzume thought the purpose of a medical nin was to heal, and no more than that. Looking aside, avoiding eye contact with the more experienced shinobi, she would think of what he told to make sense. Just as it was supposedly a ninja's duty to gather information and protect, once all the necessary materials and skills are attained it could very easily be turned around and against who ever sent for that ninja. Shocker. But there was another truth Yen preached, how anyone who for whatever reason doesn't fill their role will be replaced. This was just another reason for her despising of the shinobi system. Under her breath, she'd say, "You too will be replaced, you rambling fuck." with a smirk. Before she could get out anymore potential insults, Tadashi asked her a question. "Huh?...Oh, yes...though I don't think it's my time to take them yet," she answered with a grumble. Though unexpectedly to her, Yen began to make some steps towards her. The movement brought her to make eye contact again. His technique on the butterfly was beyond her understanding, and she observed it with wonder and awe but a dash of concern - which was relieved once the innocent creature was released from the jutsu. However, Saln had made a statement that filled her with an entirely different realm of anguishing thoughts. If nobody fights, and there was no war...then wouldn't there be no need for shinobi? 

Yen's extended hand took some time for her to recognize, being the space cadet she had been throughout this encounter. Yet, she did take his hand, albeit with hesitation once realizing it was there. "But what could you do to help?" she wondered, as if she hadn't just opposed him.

The girl's snide remark was noted by yen with a mere gleam in his,single eye. A mere twinkle of amusement, but his responses are biding bites. They do not come immediatly, but when one least expects it. The simple words as an reminder to a person he has a hold over them.

She was inexperiencec as her looking away merely was a show free to the induviduals in question was another tool to use against her. The undeniable truth, but enticing the mere hunger of such induviduals. Was tricky to go without them fully noticing. So yen merely smiled and responded to saln. For what each induvidual spoke and it brought him joy at diffrent levels.

Ahhhhhh. Not only does he look like sal. But he has a hunger for genjutsu. The boy tadashi niave and  focused on infomation. Good to feed an teaching itch. And this girl. Speaking sass, and then showing a vulnerability.... much fixing indeed to do here.


Yen thought as he with a soft hand let go of suzumes speaking.

"I know quiet alot of things, but you wish to find a reason behind all of this. Even in times of peace shinobi's job is never complete, because infomation merely is the thing that wins the future suzume."

He said knowingly to the girl. His voice had a joyful tune to it. As if he found out great news to the cause. It was good to him. For certain.

"Well genjutsu is a strong way to reach that goal saln. I can say this because i am infact the one that teaches genjutsu here. After all i have been studying it ever since i graduated from the academy. If there is anything i know. It is a fine ninja path."

Yen stated with a grin as he stood beside suzume nodded his head, but then he turned towards the red haired boy in need of a hair cut.

"Well that depends on many factors. I belive you should control it more. Because jutsu of many forms require the most perstine of control. You must show some control with the seal, but only when you susceed with that. Will you be able to use it without use of one."

Yen stated as he glanced up to suzume  and spoke. 

"With now. We are only wishing for a way to improve as shinobi, but if you stick close and ask the questions like you do.  You will discover many diffrent things.  Even in peace we are merely at a momentary stand still. But ill see what we can do. Your ideals are a showing that you will do some interesting things. Best to give you a better chance. Dont you agree suzume?"

Tadashi raised his eyebrow in apprehension, but would shortly lower it, so that Feza could not notice, or at least he planned so. Not time her time to take it? The crimson haired Genin would nod, but truly inside, he hoped that they would take it together, along with Shino if he could, but Tadashi could accept this, a little saddened, but it wouldn't anger him. It's her decision, and she has all rights to decline it. "Oh, ok." He simply said, with a non-exaggerated look. After listening to Yen's answer, he would nod to show that he understood, "Control the seal, huh? I must control my seals and chakra output before I should use it without seals." Tadashi looked at his hands before gripping them, determination coursing in his veins. At that same moment, a sound like similar to a wet balloon squeezing and curling would echo just in the forest, the sound getting more louder until it stopped. A grotesque brown slug emerged just out of the forest, leaving puddles of green slime wherever it traveled, arrived just 3 meters away from the young Namikaze.

A lightbulb lit up in the crimson haired Genin's mind, "Let's try it on the slug!" A mischevious grin formed on his face, as he closed his eyes whilst forming the Tiger hand seal. Regulating his chakra by output and input, creating almost a cycle of inputting in outputting, as Tadashi opened his eyes. The slug was bound, curling up in a ball, as the crimson haired Genin quickly released the Tiger seal, freeing the gastropod as it scurried back to the forest. Tadashi sighed but also smirked in proudness.

It seemed like there were so many different conversations going on at once, it was a wonder how Yen was able to respond to all of them AND get a comment in edge-wise. It was something Saln was starting to admire about the bug-man, how he was able to effectively divide his attention between a buncha kids AND sound like a sage while doing it! The boy did his best to keep up with the multiple conversations himself but to anyone paying attention, it was kinda obvious he was getting lost amongst the malarchy. The one thing he did manage to catch, however, was Yen's remark that Genjutsu was a worthy goal, that he would know given how he practically wrote the BOOK on it!

The boy's eyes widened, curious beyond belief as he hopped down from the tree itself and moved up behind Yen, hiding behind him somewhat has he addressed both Tadashi and Suzume. He would wait until their conversation had broken for the moment before turning to the wide-hatted man for a proposal... something he had been thinking about for a whole entire minute now:

"Mr. Yen...? Could you teach me?" He asked, almost comically innocently. His big red eyes would stare up into the older man's akin to a puppy or kitten's, ignorant to the weapons they would learn but wanting too anyway! The boy knew not the concentration and creative thinking it would entail to do what he was about to do... but he was resolved to try... His Ninja dream depended on it!

"Since you're... good at it and stuff.... could you be my sensei...?"

It seemed as though Yen was a fan of shinobi life. It would make sense...if he has stuck around long enough to reach such a level of experience. Despite having an opposing ideology, Suzume had a good feeling about this deal she just struck. Certainly she could make her own use for whatever Yen would hand down to her, even if it meant that she used them in ways her newly appointed sensei  would disapprove. But that was something to be deciphered in due time. It was possible that future influences might change her philosophies into someone more kind, as well. 

Tadashi's lamenting response was what caught Suzume onto the lingering apprehension. However, she kept this hidden. If Tadashi and her teammate were to take on the upcoming exams, she supposed that she would cheer them on. May as well show support for those who were considerably a foundation to your development, after all. They could grow to become useful in the future, whatever it may be. Having connections is useful, at times. What hurt could it ever potentially become, anyhow? 

Just as Sal also had been over whelmed by all the chatter, Suzume chose to stay quiet for the sake of simplifying the tangle of speech going around. Though now the kid had asked for a hand in training by the upper shinobi. How ironic, that Suzume had been just teaching him some things, only to then take up some lessons under another who was more wise, to put it in a way. Well, part of understanding a skill was also to be able to communicate it...which Suzume had done successfully enough. The kid did perform the techniques he was attempting, which proved she had played her part sufficiently.

the boy directly asked to be his sensei in genjutsu. Few would go after the difficult art. Not because it was inherently hard to maintain a genjutsu. Delicate chakra control and the pure power to exhibit ones's will while maintaining an innocence is difficult for many individuals. What this simply meant was that A genjutsu user needed to be able to both weave an illusion, and sanctimoniously make sure they are safe. Through any means necessary. It was a daunting goal because the risks were difficult to correctly judge. yet yen would simply lean back and stretch weaving casually a ram handseal. beginning the casting of a certain genjutsu known as false surroundings. (power:50,) 

The leaves and insects on the tree would seemingly change slightly a small sway a bit differently from the wind, but perhaps to the naked eye there would be an idea that the wind is a bit random. There would be many more as tadashi would be in range. He would perhaps spot an additional slug or two crawling slowly towards the shade of the tree's. While there would seemingly be more flies around suddenly towards a tree nearby. and the ground looking suspiciously darker. To the people that caught it from the corner of their eyes it would look to be a dead deer of sorts. and a pile of brown leaves under it. but the most striking fact that the area looked completely the same, including yen as he was leaning against the tree. and speaking, it would respectively prevent the geninn and the academy student from noticing any additional modifications visually. other then yen speaking and apparently breathing.

Still yen was willing to always teach more people. Yet it seemed that suzume went quiet while tadashi continued to focus his chakra on a less remedial being. Such as a slug. the thing was that yen would approve of his dedicated focus on the slug. 

"i am always able to teach genjutsu saln, you can learn as well suzume. I believe all shinobi should understand the basics at the same time. But the major basic one must always understand is not how to cast a genjutsu, but how to release from one. The greatest danger to any individual is deception of your senses. When your sight, hearing, scent, taste. and ability to feel are lied to. You are in trouble. Because a genjutsu user can do almost anything. From a motion of a hand. To a simple bat of an eye. And send you to who knows where... Even in times you wont even know you are in an illusion.... until it is too late."

yen stated as he simply smiled at the academy student and suzume, although he was doubtful that tadashi was fully aware of what he was getting at the hair cut was still in desperate need however he would smile. As he would speak up to the trio. 

"In time you never know how many individuals you may encounter. So before you try to release yourselves. it is important to take a few minutes and observe what is different and list them out. pay attention , and actually notice the details and differences. otherwise before you know it. even if ready. you can get caught off guard completely. after all that is the danger here. breaking free."

However yen would leave out crucial details for a reason. Naturally for the geninn and the academy student to work it out on their own and come up with the conclusion respectively, however he leaves many of the tricks to the genjutsu arts to those who actually practice it fully. Not as a piece to grab a quick tool like a toy.

in the meantime yen would observe each of them as they would look for the subtle changes to break free. Meaning they would have to find the out of place details. there were various ones of them placed by the aburame. as he would simply now stand up straight and step by suzume smiling.

Saln blinked as Yen weaved a random hand-seal, and, coincidentally, the wind began to shift at the same time! The boy noticed not the fact that the Aburame had trapped him within a genjutsu at all, the world FAR too similar for him to notice the minute differences! He had thought he had merely cast a wind-style for some reason... or something else... He didn't quite know exactly... He knew that some kind of illusions could mimic reality and didn't have to go completely over the top but.... How was he to know what was real and what wasn't?

Yen would explain as much, remarking how Saln needed to know when he was being "lied" too, that a Genjutsu could be anything from a change in appearances to sounds, smells and even touches! The boy nodded eagerly, enraptured by the lesson! He didn't even know that Genjutsu could be cast with simple hand-gestures! He thought all jutsu required signs and stuff but apparently not! Yen-sensei seemed to know just about everything there WAS to know on the subject of genjutsu and the boy couldn't have been more ready to learn!

Yen had only one bit of advice for the child: to look for differences that didn't make sense, things that would indicate how this wasn't the real world. He had to be attentive... so he could find the way out of the dream-world...


"Yuh-huh!" Saln nodded,  waiting eagerly for the genjutsu... that he didn't yet realize had already been cast.
