The slow jingling of chains. Were the only sound that flowed through the foresty area of hoshi.  Like the sound that could be heard approaching from afar that peaks curiousity and wonder. Any person could be foolish to not know what, or why such a noise would be accompanied by such a person.

Grey hair and grey eyes in a dark blue shirt wearing an unusual pair of velvet pants the man of dark skin soft to the look but solid at touch. His medium build often moderately conceled showing a hint of more mystery, but more often then not. A showing of being a well  kept man of the world. Quietly observing the world as it was merely an nice thing to watch nature and people interact.


This day however he was leaned up against a tree quietly in silence after walking abit and noting the wild perserve for what it was. A nice strech of the wilds outside beyond this land, but a fragment, hardly a fracton. For xuba knew of the varied mountains and the cold. The valleys and the darkest slums. For this moment he thought on it observing a patch of flowers native to the land.

nature had it's own way of keeping things beautiful. just like the soul uncovered. the flower patch was an wonderful observation. as by taking an moment one learns to tune out most the world and rely off of the moment to relax. These moments of brief meditation simply allowed one to realign their reasoning and their purpose altogether. A sort of self check that a person needs.
 
As he had to accept the law less nature inside of him and come to terms with that the mere rules of a village had very little impact on his demeanor and how he works. now he had to check this and reconfirm himself. xuba with a finger flick on the chain on his shoulders  the chain fell to the ground while he held one end with his right hand.
 
well... lets begin with this.
 
xuba thought as he slowly began to rotate his right  in a clock wise motion. thus catching the a good deal of the chain with his left hand and hence with a small tug of his left hand the chains  smoothly flowed from the ground  as he created a little slack for his left hand  side with  a meter of chain on his left side. with his right side  had 3 meters of chain.
 
with a swing the eerie white glow of the chains were like an white screen of  a circle motion as xuba first practiced a windmill motion with the right side, and thhe right side of chain link rotating his body as he found that the speed of wielding the chains were quiet astounding. yet  to be expected. as he then proceeded to go into figure 8 formation. the left and right side both astounding in speed as he was satisfied with the work. as he then brought the chain to a slow speed and with a hand of expert ease returned the chain to its safe loose position around his shoulders.

Cole walked out in to the wildlife reserve. He had never been here and thought that today would be a good day for a walk and take his mind off of training for a while. The forest was nice and shady with plenty of animals running about. Cole knew a few of them, but their was a lot he had never saw before. Cole kept walking till he came to a small little clearing. Not very big maybe 15 feet in radius. It was coming from the clearing the sound of a chain tinging against it self. It had a slight jingle to it reminded him of this Christmas celebration the village was doing. They were ringing bells and singing and all kind of stuff. It was the real reason he had came out here today he just couldn't handle anymore singing and bells the hole village had started to get in to it. Cole didn't mind it after all it was all fun and games, but he was starting to need some time away from it. With out thinking about who it could be cole walked up to the clearing still standing in the tree line surrounding it. Their he saw a man staring at some flowers in a flower bed. They was quit beautiful, and cole to would stare for just a moment before the man moved. He walked away from the flowers as not to harm them and stepped out to the center of the clearing.


The clearing was a simi circle of trees with they other side being some bushes. Their was large gaps on the bush side with a few smaller ones on the tree side. Cole noted that the grass was green here with some twigs that had fallen from the tree and landed in the clearing as well as a few nuts. Every now and then you could see a squirrel come running out of the bushes or tree line and grab a nut and run back. Cole watched at the sear speed that it moved and climbed the tree. It was amazing to him that something could move so fast, but it had to at the size of the thing if it was slow it would only serve as a meal to the larger game in the woods. It was at this point that cole noticed that the man had dropped one side of the chain and had started to practice swinging it around doing some kind of training cole had never saw anyone wield a chain before. Once the man took a break and cole felt like he wouldn't catch part of the chain on his face anymore on accident or purpose. After all he didn't really know the guy. Cole would step out from the tree line he would walk out and stand in the clearing with the man. Trying not to seam imposing or anything, but more friendly. While at the same time he would keep his guard up as he didn't know if the man would attack or not.



Once out standing in the clearing with the man cole could more clearly see him. The man had gray hair and eyes with a dark blue shirt on, and a pair of velvet pants. It was quit an out fit but cole couldn't say anything really. After all he had a long main of silver hair with his light brown cloak and blueish green paints and tribal marking. Cole would keep his distance at first “Hay hows it going” cole would ask the man. If the man seamed nice cole would get closer to a more friendly taking distance, but he would keep his guard up, as to not be taking advantage of by some stranger.

the foot steps amid the clinking of the chain were surely a reminder that he was not alone in the woods. still he was not one to be truly that concerned about an intruder. well due to the village stature of laws he was not as concerned. xuba would shoot a glance at the boy approaching with a slightly raised eyebrow. noting cloak and odd assortment of clothing on the young fellow. 

"i have had better day's but its peaceful"

xuba spoke to the the guy not really sizing them up as in an experienced fighter gets a good idea upon first glance at the person. stillhis gaze nor posture betrayed neither hostility nor "drop dead come here" kindness. but somewhere in the middle as approach at your own risk and reap the benifits. a sort of neutral pose utilized out in the land withthe chains loosly hanging on his shoulders.

"well since you are here. lets see how well you fare. to come this deep you are not a normal civilian so im curious."

xuba stated as he crossed his arms lightly and placed some weight on his right foot  slightly merely observing the boy. 

"come show me what it's like to trade fists."

"I have had better day's but its peaceful" the man said. Cole could agree with him it was a peaceful area and cole could stay here for quite sometime. Cole noted that the man was standing in a way were he could defend himself just like cole was not trusting, but at the same time not in attack mode. "well since you are here. lets see how well you fare. to come this deep you are not a normal civilian so im curious." The man would say he would shift his weight and lightly cross him arms as not to bind them or slow him down. Cole could tell he was trying to size him up, and cole was doing the same. Cole could tell that the man was probably going to be fast, as he had a build similar to coles, and he could tell that the man was probably a close range fighter just like cole was. Which meant that it if a fight did break out if would come down to skill and tech.


"come show me what it's like to trade fists" the man would tell cole. Cole would wait staring at the man he could tell the man was ready and able to fight, but cole was not one to just jump straight into a fight with out intel. However this was going to have to be the exception to the rule. He figured that he would get a feel for the guy and find his weakness and then come up with a way to finish it in coles favor. Cole would stand their staring at the guy for a few moments. Then when a nut feel from the tree cole jumped into action. Cole took two steps back real quick while forming the bird hand sign. With in the blink of an eye their was three blades formed from the wind in front of cole, and with out hesitation he fired all three as soon as they was ready. (speed 20 power 20)Sending one right at the man and the other two to his side. Quickly grabbing a kunai from his pouch cole would send it flying into the air above the man. This way the man couldn't go in any direction but down and not be in harms way. Cole thought that this would be a good test to see how fast and strong the man was. They attack its self was only powerful enough to be dangers to academy students and maybe some genin. Cole knew that if the man was as good as cole thought that he would be able to get out of the way.


Cole would stay in his defensive stance waiting to see what the man did. If he charged at cole blowing the wind slash jutsu like it was nothing cole would activate his bone armor jutsu if needed. Or dodge they attack if he thought he was fast enough. Either way he wanted to see how the man handled they attack.

xuba noted the young man staring at him still it was by observation that simply the guy hesitated. Simply he waited as xuba would with shifting his weight from either side as he would wait. It would not take as long as he thought as the young man began to weave a handsign after taking a 2 steps back. in which xuba merely waited observing the fellow as he was preparing some technique. The Thing was that xuba quietly watched the air form into thin bits of sharp air. How? Simply watching the air form into these 3 odd distortions in the air in front of the man.
 
Well…. looks effective?
 
Xuba thought as he while keeping his arms folded. He simply gripped the chain with his right index and middle finger. As when the wind technique came towards xuba the end of the chain came loose. Enabling xuba to draw on the chain with ease and safety.
 

While the wind technique would begin its slow approach. Xuba already had a counter measure with the young guy’s actions. Even while noting the man was about 8 meters away.   The fellow had the idea to draw a kunai, and throw it by the guess it was aimed towards now to make xuba duck. However the kunai moved much slower than him making a quick jog.  Which simply confirmed one thing to xuba. That his counter would work. The man known as xuba would begin the figure eight formation. Giving the 4 meter chain slack on his right hand so it was a 3 meter long in his left hand.
 
 As the eerie white glow of the chains would seemingly flow like a glorious showing of a figure eight. His wrists rotating in a simple blur of motion and skill thanks to his skill in wielding throwing weapons. As the chains were his u indorodochen aka the wind lord chains. Xuba knowing that he was careful with wielding the chains safely kept them away from his body. With each attack that came his way including the wind blades to his left and right xubas. They would be knocked aside as they were merely battered away like fleas. (impact force of: 59 vs the power f the wind blades: 20, and the impact force of the kunai: 31)

    As for the young man he would depending on his reaction time probably would not catch the motions of the chains. Otherwise he would merely see a seemingly errie white veil around xuba due to the incredible speed of his weapon wielding (Figure 8 formation: C ranked +20 swing speed. +20 reaction time required to track the chains.  final:  Speed of chains: 167, impact force: 59, reaction time required to track the chains: 187)

"No need to use weapons or jutsu...  Hand to hand please." Xuba stated  as he casually approached the young man and would slow the chains down to a stop, and return them to their loose position over his shoulders. Still secured. Yet ready to react if the young fellow tried anything else.

Upon reaching 2 meters between himself  He took a  step into the typical hand to hand range and held up a guard.

"Range is good but as it is you show you prefer to be in my face. Let us begin"

Cole watched as the man deflected the blades back into wind with ease. Cole figured the could if he was as strong as cole thought that he was. Cole could tell that he used the chains but he couldn't tell what he did with them. He couldn't tell if the power came from the chains or from the man himself. Cole had heard of people with powerful weapons that could do things like that. The man then told cole no more tricks just straight out taijutsu. Cole could do that but he still wasn't sure about the man. He had an idea and now knew that he was right about the man being powerful and a close range fighter. Cole was going to have to be careful and not let his guard down. “Ok then fist to fist it is” cole would tell the man “Before we get started its only polite to know the man you fighting's name. Mine is Cole” cole would tell the man. He would wait a few moments for the man to respond before starting.



After the man had told or not told cole his name. Cole would start they attack by creating a layer of bone under his skin. He didn't know how fast or strong the man was, so cole wanted to approach the fight on the defensive just to be safe. After cole would start to move hitting max speed of 90 about five feet from the man. Unless the man charged as well in which cole would hit around 50 speed. If the man waited cole would throw a shuriken as a detraction. At the mans left foot missing on purpose to try and make the man take his eyes off of cole for just a second. That would be all he needed weather or not the man would look away or not cole would throw a spinning back kick with all the power he had aimed at the mid section of the mans body right above the belt line. (speed 125, Power 105) cole would make this be the real test to the guys power. While not the best shot cole could take it would tell him how the man fought, and just how powerful he really was.

The fellas name was cole which was nice of him to offer. Xuba simply went by the village name he allowed almost everyone, but a select few to use.

"Pleasure cole. Im tatsuma im new to hoshi so ill like to see how you people fare."

He adressed as the man began to speed up towards him. The problem here was that xuba too sped up but to match the person named cole. (Speed:50) as he waited indeed xuba watched as cole havimg not drawn the shruiken out from a previous post would once more attempt to go and reach for his weapons pouch for something. As he would assume it would be anotjer weapon.

Arms reach and trying to go for a weapon? Yet again hands only lad... aye. Kids...


Xuba thought as they were now within 2 feet of each other. Due to xuba continuing to move forward and cole going for his shruiken. The first of any motion for xuba wouldve  been as cole would attempt to lift his arm to throw the shruiken. 

At this point however xuba's actions wouldve been to move in and stay close. He would match cole for the moment yet as he watched cole try to remove his hand from the weapons pouch  xuba would move his left hand since it was clostest to the weapon hand and cross it across the center of his body for a inside to outside block. Open handed, if it connected then xuba would grab and hold on coles wrist. Preventing him from moving it any further because they were of equal strength of the moment.  Since xuba was much faster this would prove exceedingly effective in preventing cole from grabbing and pulling out his weapon. (Inside block open handed: +10 speed, cole loses -5 speed next post if it connects, next taijutsu manuver gains +5 speed. final:speed:135)

If it does miss or connect then xuba will  note the speedy motion of coles  body and his feet pivoting to et up for the following motion, and it would either lead to a back kick, or a hook kick. Cole never followed the logic of spin kicks, however if one would look first before striking out their kick then they would see that their opponent is still there.  Regardless xuba would follow the motion of the kick at his max speed of 125, and stick to coles standing legs hip as his kicking foot would  extend past him.  Of course sould cole attempt to tuck into a roll that would lead to a swift elbow to the kicking leg back of the knee which would hurt. (Speed: max, strength max:)

Not bad... but you never throw a spin kick when a guy is going to circle. Telegraphing is bad. Very bad. Always look before kicking to  assure and adjust... basics boy!


To emphisis this xuba began with a low roundhouse kick with his right leg being the lead foot. Quick to initiate due to using lead foot (Speed: 125, strength: 70) as cole's foot had yet to retract from such an attack or even set down it would be terribly difficult to avoid. However, a smart move as before would be to look as one kicks. Xuba would acompany this kick with an right roundhouse elbow to the left kidney due to coles back being exposed. (Speed max, strength max. Followed by an horrific back fist to the  right kidney( speed: max, strength max:)  all the while reaching his left arm down towards the by now retracting leg of coles.

"Kicks are good. But if you never look, you will only leave yourself open. Defense to offense should flow. Not be forced. If i block i wait. Then i shift into offense.... you will be hurting after this cole"

Xuba stated as he kept hold of  cole. Each of their movements stopped yet xuba had an arm free for any additional punishments for the slightest movement from cole.

The mans name was Tatsuma he told cole. Cole didn't really know if it was his real name or just what people called him. Sometimes cole wished he had a cool nickname, but he figured that it would come in time. For now he needed to focus on the fight because he had a feeling that this guy was not going to be an easy win like he has had in the past. Cole charged at the man only making to speed 50 since the man charged as well. Since he charged cole forgone the tactic he came up with to distract the man, and stuck with his idea of a right spinning back kick aimed just above the Tatsumas waist. Except since the man charged as well cole knew that he would not have time to get the speed up he wanted, so he adjusted the angle of the kick a little. He went below the mans waist and over to his left side aiming for the hip joint. Speed 85, Strength 105)


He would plan on Tatsuma deflecting or blocking the attack out right, and depending on the situation cole would have a back up plan. If Tatsuma deflected the attack away cole would use the momentum from they attack to deliver a left elbow to the side of Tatsumas head, and if he blocked or grabbed coles foot he would spin lifting his body off of the ground and deliver a kick to the side of Tatsumas head. Both with as much speed and Strength as he could muster in the situation. (max speed 50 STR 70)

Despite all that occurs xubas reactions are based off of a persons movements. So simply the one known as cole would persist in his motions  thing about this all is that trying to make an opening move. One does not need to start with a bang. Or something complex. 


The spinning back kick stays in the same department as xuba knew this technique and its risks. As it stands his evasion was simple as cole threw the kick despite an low target the speed, or angle. A kick telegraphed with the back exposed without a set up. Is something that cannot  nor ever will land especially with forward momentum from a sprint.

Yeah kid.... no


Xuba thought as he merely moved at a 45 degrees to  his left at full speed sticking to coles back and practically hip to hip (125) as he moved his left hand will rest on cole's leg as he had more then enough speed, space and time to initiate an counter strike.  But this was also a feint of sorts. To fool the man in beliving there was a deflection. As the momentum would keep cole going forward amid the kick. Xuba would tuck his thumb and form a fist as cole had yet to place down his kicking foot. With delicate accuracy he would  as the elbow strike came do a slight duck and weave under the  elbow strike aimed towards his head as he let cole come to him by turning his body.

"Heh"


 Without further delay xuba would begin the chain fist  combination on coles hip and now exposed front of his body. His fists like lightning to cole. His first strike would hit cole squarely in the hip as xuba would circle and apply  a second punch to coles by now still elbow aiming at a slight angle to force his shoulder joint to pop and become dislocated. (As he would need a moment to realize these strikes were actually fast and hard.) Third strike now to the boys rib cage a solid hit to the middle of his right ribcage to rattle him. His final strike aimed squarely to sternum here center of his chest.  All the while maintaining a guard  to prepare to block an counter or interruptive strike. (Chainfist: closed fist +20 strength, final strength:90 per strike,  strike speed:125)


 While with his right hand as cole he hoped would not be silly and try to roll away. He maintained a guard. Keeping an eye on cole's hips for any betrayal to his legs moving. Preparing to stoping any further movemen, and limiting escape options. Xuba now waited as there was hardly arm room for even a proper jab. He was in close range fighting with the fact that any additional movements would be costly.
