Atem, The Wind Hunter

Atem knew he was weak in the area of ninjutsu, but he knew that was the most versatile specialty other than fuuinjutsu. Since he had the wind release he knew he was bound to wind jutsus only for the time being, seeing as though he wanted to have some long range attacks in his arsenal that could cause his enemy to move a certain way and disrupt their pattern he knew a light weight jutsu without hand signs would be the most optimal way to go.
“Wind Release: Wind Arrow, that is what I will learn today.” Atem said to himself. He knew of this jutsu because this was one of the basic jutsus his instructor in the ninja academy has spoken about, it was a shame he was just now thinking about learning such a handy jutsu.
Holding his arm out he remembered that the jutsu could only be performed as arm’s length and then he would have the pressurize the air and form it into an arrow. Having learned the chakra infusion skill he knew this should be a piece of cake. Letting the chakra gush from his right hand he began to freeform the chakra in the shape of a distorted arrow. “Let’s see if we can refine this.” Atem said concentrating even harder on the shape of the arrow.
Atem began to see the arrow shape form into a crisp air version of the real life thing, it was weird being able to see wind in a 3d form, as it had no shadow, but all is done through chakra and the mind. He continuously made the chakra arrows until he realized he couldn’t go past 5.
“So, this is my limit eh?” Atem said feeling that this technique was coming along rather quickly. He waited a few moments before he started to train his mobility with the arrows. Regaining his stamina he set up three targets (3 pine cones) in various places. One was in a tree branch another was inside of a log concealed by the bark and the last one was at the peak of a tree.
“Okay, attempt #1.” Atem said hopping into action and forming his now seemingly perfect wind arrows, jumping into a backflip he shot his first arrow into the pine cone on the tree branch would be be launched by the force of the arrow hitting it. Then he turned to his right immediately launching another one that pierced the inside of the hollow log and into the second pine cone. Lastly, he jumped as high as he possibly could to get a good aim on the pine cone at the tip of the tree. Getting to the highest point in his jump he let off another arrow, it narrowly misses the pine cone. It struck right below hitting the tip of the tree and causing the pine cone to fall to the ground. “That’s good enough for me.” Atem said to himself as he realized he could make two more arrows. As the hunter inside of him came out he came up with a fascinating thought, he wondered if this would be good with fishing.
To the stream he went, once there he seen that it flourished with fish that were oblivious to their demise. Shooting his first arrow a a fish that had whiskers on it’s face, it struck. The last arrow he shot at a fish trying to hunt down another fish that caused a collateral arrow to catch the both of them. He then went into the stream and collected his three fish and went back into the forest with his jutsu mastered. “That was a piece of cake.” He said to himself.
