Remembering a Friendship (Flashback)(P)(NK)

Akina gave Seth a very perplexed look before nodding at him slightly. "Some other time, then." Her voice was soft. As Seth left, she rounded on Navi. Her eyes appeared to be flaming. She had gotten tired of everyone in Konoha looking at her with their prejudice.

"I understand your concern, Navi, but what makes him any different from the rest of us? Honestly, if you cut him open, I'm pretty sure he would bleed red. As for him being my nakama...he's a nice person and made a promise to me, much like the one you did: to protect me with his life. Does that explain things? I love this place, but it does have its faults every now and then. Come, let's go to Ichiraku...my treat." As she offered lunch of her own, the girl turned on her toes gracefully and walked away from the gates.

Navi followed silently as Akina walked away from the gates and offered him Ichiraku. If people were all meant to be friends then we would all be united under one banner. Navi believed true loyalty from comrades would come only from Leaf ninja, and those from other villages were either friends or enemies, both which should be kept at a distance.

They would change the subject over a meal, but the difference would still remain. The opposite views between the two of their nindo's was obvious.
