An Unexpected Arrival (closed)

Amane was panicking. She paced the room, thoughts racing through her head. A thousand 'What Ifs' rushed through her mind, making her panic more. Amane had fainted twice now, and had promised herself she wouldn't do it again. She stared at the calendar, hoping it would reverse somehow. It wasn't possible. It couldn't be. She tried to dismiss the thought, but it was too heavily implanted in her mind. She pulled her hair and dug her nails into her arm viciously. She decided to check for herself. It had been a week and a half since Mukoro had left, and Amane was missing him like hell. She hadn't gone an hour without crying, and had barely slept. But there was one thing bugging her. She was late.

Amane reached nervously into her bathroom cabinet and pulled 'The Thing' out. She hated this thing, and had never wanted to use it. She shook like a madman as she pulled it out of it's box and stared at it as if it would kill her. She turned it on. The screen read: 'READY.' Amane closed her eyes and did it. She awaited the reading. It seemed to take forever. But when it flashed up, Amane fell back onto the bathroom floor. "No..." She whispered. "No. No. NO!" Amane began to cry again. Every muscle in her body tightened. She could barely feel her limbs, as the thing dropped to the floor. She sat there traumatized, as it seemed to stare up at her, its one word boring a hole through her eyes.

"PREGNANT".

Amane finished writing the letter and carried it up to the messenger bird station. She sealed it with the Kazekage seal, and slipped it into the pouch of a sandy-colored eagle. She then wound a tag around the holder, titled: 'TSUCHIKAGE'. The letter simply read:

"Mukoro. Please. I need you. Come to me as soon as you can.

Amane~ "

She watched the bird take off, and walked slowly back to her office, shaking.

Amane opened the door slowly. Her face was thinner than usual and she was weak. She hadn't eaten since Muk had left. Her eyes were red from all the crying, and she was still shaking like a leaf. She peeked an eye through the opening in the door, spying a gorgeous bouquet of roses. Then she looked up. There he was. She had to stop herself from falling into his arms. "M..Mukoro-kun..." she said weakly, her eyes welling up again. Part of her wanted to invite him in and hold him close, constantly telling him that she loved him. But a larger part of her wanted to slap him in the face. Amane had been hitting herself off of walls and desks for the past two days since she had known. She had lost count of the amount of bruises she had. She opened the door wider signalling for him to come in. Amane did not smile, she couldn't if she wanted to. She was pale. She came out from behind the door, revealing her thin, battered self. She collapsed on the floor in one sudden step, crying out. She tried to prop herself up on her elbow, but was still shaking and was having trouble getting up.

Muk smiled brightly as he saw the door open, but his smile slightly faded when he saw her terrible shape. She was all over bruises, her eyes were incredibly red. But, he couldn't stop himself from hugging her tightly. Whispering, "I missed you so much.." He felt so guilty for leaving her. He was incredibly worried about her wounds, but that would come later. It seemed like Amane had something to tell him. He then let her go softly and stepped back. Muk's eyes open wide when he saw her collapse on the floor. "A-Amane!!" He shouted, bending on one knee trying to help her get up. "Are you okay!?!?" He said very much worried as he heard her crying. "I'm so sorry!!!!!! I shouldn't have left you!!!! IM SORRY!!!" He shouted.

Amane breathed fast, trying to get more oxygen into her system. She blinked rapidly as colorful dots danced across her vision. She felt him help her up, kneeling over her. She opened her eyes and gripped his arm as tightly as she possibly could, which wasn't very tight at all. She couldn't stop a few tears escaping as she pushed her head into his chest. She gasped as the air began to flow normally and sat on the floor, holding onto Mukoro for balance. She still wanted to hit him. Her eyes cleared up and she sighed, ready to tell him. She reached down for his hand and placed it on her lower stomach. She pressed her hand on top of his, still shaking. She looked up into his eyes, scared now. What if he left her for good? What if he beat her up and called her useless and stupid? Amane had heard stories like that go around, and was now slowly becoming hypnotized into thinking Mukoro could do such things. "Mukoro..." She began, closing her eyes and biting her lip. "You're... going to be a father..." She gulped after she said this, waiting for him to slap her and leave her lying helpless on the floor.

Amane stood and placed a hand on his shoulder, before shakily slapping him in the face. She punched his chest a few times, not that it would do much. She was far too weak. She would slap him harder later. Amane wondered how it could have happened. Maybe her nails were sharp? Maybe the material was thin? Maybe...maybe he had bought a cheap condom?! She tried to hit him harder, but this resulted in her faceplanting his chest. She sighed and almost fell again, but lifted her knee up to avoid toppling over. Her knee banged off of something, and she looked down, to see that she had accidentally kneed the Tsuchikage below the belt. She looked up at him and moved it away slowly, her eyes going wide. She covered her mouth with both hands and stepped back slowly. "Oops.." She squeaked.

Amane wanted to hit herself again when she saw how she'd hurt him. She gulped as he squealed, and was about to smack her arm off the table when he wrapped his own around her. He smiled and told her that they were going to be parents. She still felt incredibly guilty, and was growing more scared of bearing a child every minute. The good thing was that Mukoro was alright with it, and hadn't left her on her own. Amane was incredibly grateful towards him for still coming back for her. She avoided his crotchual area and hugged him as tight as possible. She never wanted him to leave her. "Yes...promise you won't leave me alone...please.." She whispered. This was their baby. Their baby. And Amane already loved it. There was no bump or sign of anything, but the tests were always right. It had only been two weeks, and already Amane and Mukoro had a life set out for them. Amane tried to picture their baby. It would have it's fathers gorgeous hair, and it's mothers eyes. Yes. That was perfect. Amane didn't care if it was male or female. She knew she would love it, and that Mukoro would be an amazing father. But still, she was getting more and more freaked out by the second. She was so scared. What if it hurt? Well she knew it was going to hurt. That was obvious. But Mukoro's baby was worth it. She sighed and leaned into his chest, a hand on her stomach.
