Reminiscents and Water Empty Reminiscents and Water

Tue Feb 27, 2024 1:34 am
It had felt like an eternity since her spirit had last dared to dream of the majestic creature, yet there it was, looming large in her subconscious once more.

The dragon, with its shimmering scales and fierce gaze, appeared unchanged from the last time she had encountered it in her dreams. It was a sight to behold, a creature of undeniable power and beauty. And yet, this time was different. This time, she felt a strange sense of acceptance, of letting it go.

As the dragon prepared to take flight, she felt a surge of conflicting emotions. Part of her still longed to reach out and stop it from leaving, to hold onto the fleeting connection they shared. But another part of her, a part that she had long kept hidden away, whispered for her to let go, to allow the dragon to soar free.

Her phantom eyes gazed at the beautiful beast, as she watched the dragon disappear into the galaxy above, a symbol of all that she had lost and all that she still held dear. Meika found solace in the knowledge that some connections are meant to be cherished from afar.

Meika woke up early, the morning sun streaming in through her bedroom window, filling the room with a warm, golden light. She stretched her arms above her head, feeling the stiffness of sleep leave her body. As she made her way to the kitchen, her fluffy adorable feline, trailing closely behind her. Sending a burst of purring within her way of direction, with every twitch of its happy tail.

She toasted a few slices of whole wheat bread and topped them with slices of creamy cheese, savoring the simple pleasure of a healthy breakfast. Meika knew the importance of fueling her body properly, especially on days filled with rigorous training, her mind already focused on the tasks ahead.

After finishing her meal, Meika headed to her room to change into her oversized black shirt, with pitch black leggings to match. In that moment, Meika saw a vision of her future self, strong and confident, achieving greatness in all aspects of her life. She knew that with dedication and hard work, anything was possible.

As she made her way to the Academy for her training session, she felt the cool morning air on her skin, a gentle breeze rustling through the trees. The sunlight danced through the leaves, creating patterns of light and shadow on the ground.

Meika easily found the path towards the Academy she sought, since this wasn't her very first time visiting, it didn't take long for her to find it. Once again Meika took in the beauty that the place had to offer, enjoying the fact that is was far from anyone alike. She very much preferred to train herself as a lone wolf, though she wouldn't be too objected at the chance of some company. The Kunoichi just wasn't used to running into many others within the village.

The Academy where Meika trained was nestled deep in the mountains, surrounded by lush forests and clear, babbling streams. It was the perfect setting for a Kunoichi to hone her skills, away from the distractions of the outside world. Meika spent hours within that day practicing her techniques, refining her movements and mastering her chakra control.

Meika had always been drawn to the element of water, a force of nature that mirrored the depths of her own soul. From a young age, she had felt its pull, its fluidity resonating with her ever-changing spirit. As a Chunin rank shinobi, she dedicated every waking moment to mastering the art of ninjutsu, pushing herself to the limit to perfect her combat and stealth techniques, delving deep into the world of genjutsu.

But now, as she stood on the brink of her journey, she yearned to break free and explore the untapped potential of her connection to water, to immerse herself in its power and embrace the boundless possibilities that lay within.

Today as she stood at the edge of a tranquil pond that was just within reach of the Academy that presented Kaito. Meika felt a deep sense of peace wash over her. The shimmering surface of the water called out to her, inviting her to explore its secrets. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, centering herself before channeling her chakra into the palms of her hands.

With a flick of her wrists, Meika sent a burst of chakra-infused water spiraling out across the pond. The water danced and swirled, responding to her commands with grace and precision. She smiled, feeling a sense of exhilaration at the power as she enjoyed showing off her water play.

As the day passed, Meika delved, every ounce of dedication flowing through her veins, she delved deeper into her training with water. Each ripple in the liquid mirrored the intense focus in her eyes as she sought to perfect her craft. Every drop held the potential for greatness, waiting for her chakra to mold it into something extraordinary. Despite the limitations she faced, her determination burned like a fierce flame, urging her to push past her boundaries.

Her heart swelled with passion as she worked tirelessly to merge the worlds of genjutsu and ninjutsu. The very essence of the water whispered secrets to her, guiding her on a journey of self-discovery and growth. She strove to harness the power of the element, to wield it as an extension of her own being. The sound of rushing water became a symphony, the glinting reflection a canvas on which she painted her dreams.

The barriers of possibility shattered before her, leaving only the boundless expanse of her potential. She was a warrior, a mage, a force to be reckoned with.

For a second Meika would wonder what a Goddess would look like, perhaps one that situated oneself with the element of water, but Meika would simply chuckle at the thought.

She did not see herself as a deity, but rather as a humble trickster of the elements. She played with the water's crystal surface, teasing it into submission with a mischievous twinkle in her eye. A troublemaker was all that Meika desired to be. One that perhaps could be a force to reckon with, perhaps a bit of intimation. Causing a little bit of trouble would allow her to leave an everlasting impression on one's she ever did cross paths with.

After Meika completed her rigorous water training, she made a daring decision to seek solace in the serene pond. The air was still and the sun cast a gentle warmth upon her skin, inviting her to slip from her clothes,, as long as no one dared to gaze, dip into the cool, soothing water that shimmered before her like a beckoning siren.

As she immersed herself in the tranquil pond, a wave of relief washed over her, carrying away the tension and stress that had been building within her. The water enveloped her like a comforting embrace, easing the tension that may possibly exist.

Meika found herself at peace. The worries of the day, the demands of her training, and the expectations of others melted away, leaving her floating weightless in a sea of tranquility.

She closed her eyes and savored the sensation of the cool water against her skin, the gentle caress of nature's embrace. It was a fleeting moment of pure bliss, a stolen sanctuary of calm in the chaos of her life.

And as she allowed herself this small indulgence, she knew deep down that it was exactly what her weary soul needed. For in that pond, in that moment of solitude, Meika found a moment of respite, a brief escape from the demands of the world.

As Meika swam within the cool, clear waters of the pond, she couldn't help but recall about the time she had visited the Hot Springs, and how there had been another woman whom she had first met. It had been a few years since that encounter, but the amount of years were lost to her.

The woman she had gone with had been a bit of a flirt, always teasing and making suggestive jokes. Meika had found herself feeling surprisingly comfortable with the whole situation, even had flirted back despite doing it all as a playful jest. But there was something about the woman's confidence and charisma that had drawn her in.

As she floated on her back, staring up at the clear blue sky above, Meika couldn't help but wonder what had happened to that woman. They had shared a few laughs and been completed a few missions together, but then she had disappeared.

Meika couldn't deny that she had been intrigued by the woman. She had a wild, carefree spirit that Meika found both alluring and intimidating. It was as if the woman had a certain kind of magic about her, a sense of freedom and adventure. It amazed Kunoichi how quickly her interactions with others would die out. It wasn't as if she had met many people, or made many sociable connections. While she had come across a few friendly faces, she never felt the need to constantly surround herself with people. The way that the connections died out so quickly, was a good enough reason for her to enjoy the life of a recluse.

Meika emerged from the tranquil pond, her glistening skin bathed in the warm glow of the setting sun. As the gentle breeze kissed her face, she inhaled deeply, savoring the crisp air that filled her lungs. Meika ventured towards the Academy building nearby, of course after she was certain that she was properly dry and back to being dressed, she wouldn't dare to step a soggy foot o to Kaito’s beloved Academy floor.

Entering the hallowed halls of the Academy, Meika felt a wave of peace wash over her. She sank to the floor, the warm wood beneath her offering comfort and support.

Closing her eyes, Meika began to meditate, her mind and body surrendering to the practice with fervor and dedication. Each breath was a prayer, each moment a sacred offering to the universe. Memories of her past sessions mingled with the present, creating a tapestry of emotion and revelation.

As she opened her eyes once more, a sense of renewal and clarity washed over her. The training she had undergone had strengthened her resolve, deepening her connection to her inner self. With a newfound sense of purpose, and a welcoming peace within her unbreakable mind.

After pouring her soul into the deeply spiritual meditation session, Meika continued on to follow up with a series of stretches and exercises, each movement filled with intention and purpose. With each gentle stretch, she felt the tension melt away from her body, allowing her to release pent up emotions and energy. She moved slowly and deliberately, loosening up her limbs lazily like a cat always decimated in her work and efforts of being tension free. All she cared about in that moment was the profound connection she was cultivating between her mind, body, and spirit, and to feel comfort.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm golden glow over the land, Meika felt a deep sense of accomplishment and acceptance. The day had been long and easy, and she felt ready to leave the Academy and head back. As the kunoichi made her way home through the path in which she came, Meika couldn't help but feel a sense of pride.

The sky was painted in shades of pink and purple, with a few scattered clouds catching the last rays of sunlight. Meika felt relief for the day coming to an end mingling with the anticipation of what the coming night would bring.

The fading light of the sun cast long shadows across the landscape, a reminder of the passing of time. With a contented sigh, she knew that this day had been one of growth and transformation, a stepping stone on her journey towards self-discovery.

In the quiet of her home, Meika lit a candle and settled onto her inviting comforter. The soft glow of the flame illuminated her face, casting shadows that danced across the walls. Closing her eyes, she allowed herself to be carried away by the tranquility of the moment, the stillness of the night surrounding her like a warm blanket.

As she drifted into a state of deep relaxation, Meika felt a sense of connection to something greater than herself. It was as if the boundaries between her physical body and the world around her blurred, merging together in a symphony of light and sound. In this moment, she felt truly alive, in tune with the universe and all its infinite possibilities. Of course, not long after, her beloved feline made its way over to where she laid. Curling up into a comfy ball right within the Kunoichi’s side. Like a small little ball of beat and fuzz, and a bit of lovely purring. Meika quickly realized to herself, that the little cat was a connection she hoped to never lose. Not any time soon, for as long as it can go. The very company that the cat always brought her was such a relief for the raven haired Kunoichi. Plus it was just so outright adorable. But now it was about time for Meika to treat both the feline and herself to a night and dine, before letting herself fully retire for the day. -exit
