Working in the Forges

The Hyuuga was currently at the training grounds, working with this equipment. He spent quite a while sharpening all his weapons, as the quality of them was incredibly important to Amikiri. Soon, the Hyuuga shifted his focus to his armor. Unfortunately, it was just not getting the job done anymore. He had decided to remove the Hoshimura Steel from the armor and instead replace it with something else. A new material had just popped up on Amikiri’s radar, and it greatly interested the dark haired Hyuuga. Silver. It was famous for its ability to resist corrosive and weathering effects, something Amikiri greatly wanted. Amikiri got to work on the recrafting of his armor. It was an incredibly difficult task, as removing the Hoshimura steel was quite the complex process. Fortunately, all of the Hoshimura Steel was focused into the gauntlets of the armor, so the Hyuuga took a simpler approach. He melted down the gauntlets of the armor, which pained him, but using a precise chemical process, he managed to isolate the Hoshimura Steel and remove it from the liquid metal. From there, he re-cast the metal and, after making the rough shape he desired with a mold, spent hours creating the precise shape of the gauntlets he desired. To finish the job off, Amikiri then decided to melt down the silver, making it almost into a paint of sorts. After a bit of tinkering, he managed to make a paint that would not change the color or appearance of his armor and solely provide him the corrosive resistant effects. He applied the paint to the entire surface and was very happy with the results. After all of this was done, Amikiri realized it was very late into the night. This entire time spent in the forges of Hoshigakure took upwards of sixteen hours straight of working.
