Mission

"Ah, Boring you say?" Roy replied. That wasn't the result that he was looking to hear, still, if this is what it meant to be a ninja then the swordsman would work to learn, and do whatever was asked of him. Gathering himself as Ciel left the house, leaving the woman to grive the loss of their child, he would follow behind the other two ninja and be led to the archives.


Roy nodded and followed both Ciel and Hiroshi to the archives, going through the busy streets of the village and into the more affluent part of it. Roy had never been this close to the archives before nor had he had a chance to explore the village the way that he had today. He had only went to a ninja shop, a residence, and soon the archives, but he was excited to see this new part of town. Roy didn't realize how expansive the village was until now, but he was sure that as time went on that would change. 

As Roy entered up the steps of the building and into the well constructed and guarded information Hub Roy couldn't help but have wandering eyes. He wanted to see everything and everything that was inside here, because he didn't know when next he would have the chance to enter into the building, and he wanted to do everything he could to enjoy the experience. 


Ciel would start by making shadow clones, a technique that Roy had heard about but had never seen in action, Roy watched with a bit of impression as he reviewed how his fellow ninja completed the technique, perhaps it would be something Roy could learn in the future, but he wasn't there yet. Through the windows of the building he could see that the daylight was beginning to close, so he decided it was time to get to work. 


As Roy toiled for a next few hours, he would catalog and organize as best as they could, even though Roy wasn't too knowledgeable on these sorts of things. As the swordsman was organizing, even he could notice that some of the scrolls that were supposed to be there were not. Not really knowing what else to do with this information, Roy would simple mark that they were not there, and move on through the task.


The swordsman would give out a yawn as their task came to an end. It was now nighttime and the archives were about to close. They had spent the day doing the work of the village as ninja, and had earned some money along the way. Roy would wave to both Ciel and Hiroshi as he exited first, making his way back to the village center to collect his earnings. Even though this was his first day of missions, he was excited to out again and do more tomorrow.

When the squad of genin arrived at the library Hiroshi saw Ciel produce two shadow clones, so he thought he’d do the same. There was no point being here longer than he had to be, so he assigned them to a portion that he was expected to do. With the help of the clones and the other shinobi, the work actually went by quickly. Hiroshi wanted to get to know the guys better, but he still had a mission at hand. He knew the work had to be done, but he wondered why they couldn’t just hire more staff, but then he realized it helps him make money for his endeavors. He took a look around and saw all the shinobi and clones working. He got back to work and was confused. He was going through documents and was surprised he couldn’t find a few files. He attempted to locate them with the clone’s help but realized quickly that the scrolls just weren’t there.
Hiroshi would complete the mission as quickly as he could, but it looked like Roy was quicker than he was. Hiroshi would look for the young genin, but couldn’t find him, but as soon as he dismissed his clone the memory of saying goodbye would come back to him. He went to look for Ciel, “It was good to meet you, Ciel, I hope we can work together in the future.” Hiroshi would say giving a wave to his comrade as he turned to leave. On his way out he couldn’t get the feeling something was off about those missing scrolls. He’d have to investigate the matter further at a later date. Hiroshi would light a cigarette and head back to his house.

Ciel would wait untill everyone would leave before he would make his exit, only so that he could take his time and go find a couple books he wanted to take home himself. After a couple minutes he found the books and quickly checked out so that he could get his pay before it was to late.
