An Attack Of Opportunity

Kaito raised an eyebrow as the janitor vocalized his intentions to kill the young man.

The man had stopped the lawnmower 40 meters directly in front of Kaito, the Uchiha facing north, and while it would normally be hard to hear someone from that far away, the man's voice bellowed throughout the courtyard. As Uranus spoke, stating that he did not wish to tarnish Kaito's name, Kaito would rise to his feet and would activate his Mangekyō Sharingan as he did so.

All the while Kaito would begin to form his Chakra into his throat as he whistled the "Dragon" -> "Rat" -> "Hare" -> "Bird" -> "Monkey" -> and "Dragon" seals. This would be achieved thanks to his "Whistle Trigger" skill, and he would finish his whistling just as Uranus was finishing up saying "Nor do I think you want them to come in harm's way during our fight, if you can call it that.". With that completed, Kaito had successfully activated his "Space-Time Amplifier" technique, and not bothering to waste any more time, he would focus on the ground located 5.5 meters directly behind Uranus. Directly north, and another 0.5 meters behind the location Kaito focused upon, was one of the sturdy trees that called the training grounds its home. With the tree's base being 2 meters thick, Kaito would see the base's bark 3 meters above the ground to Uranus' right side without obscurities thanks to the large distance between the two of them and the man's towering height. Thankfully there were no obstacles of any kind between them, this including no trees and no lawnmover as it had been stopped to Kaito's left side (Uranus' right side). Kaito would allow his left eye's Kamui teleportation ability to activate, and not for himself, but for Uranus.

The Kamui's focal point being 3 meters above the ground upon the tree's bark located 5.5 meters behind Uranus, the technique's sphere would expand at Jutsu speed [150] up to its maximum 35-meter radius; easily ensnaring Uranus into its dimensional clutches as it metaphorically biscected him. There would be no hope for the man to escape either, and it would go without saying that the man would rather quickly find himself locked away within Kaito's own personal space-time dimension.

"I won't be going anywhere, old man, but you will be." Kaito retorted, smirking as he did so. "And it's a good thing that the north wing of the school is left empty during lunch period because I'm gonna need to help rebuild it eventually..."

As Kaito focused on the rift in space-time he was creating, he could also see that Uranus was preparing to close the distance between the two of them.

'Interesting...' Kaito thought to himself, forming the seal of confrontation in his left hand while also forming the one-handed variant of the "Boar" -> "Tiger" -> "Ram" -> "Rat" -> and "Snake" in his left hand and whistling the "Tiger" -> "Boar" -> "Dog" -> "Dragon" -> and "Rat" seals thanks to his whistle trigger. He would form the seals in his right hand in such a way that they would finish a mere split second after his whistled seals.

With all of this completed, Kaito would successfully activate his "Wind-Style: Wind Rejuvenation" technique. This would allow his Vigor and Speed to soar to new, unprecedented heights that he would not normally be able to achieve [After enhancements, VIGOR = 200 & SPEED = 95]. With the seals of his whistle trigger completing thereafter, he also successfully activated his "Ninjutsu Amplifier", with which he would immediately amplify the "Wind-Style: Overwhelming Presence" he had cast with his left hand. With everything now in place, a 15x15 meter cube boasting [160] power would form around Kaito at a relatively fast [190] speed, with the Uchiha at the direct center of it. It would be at this point that Kaito forms the one-handed variant of the "Horse" -> "Dog" -> "Bird" -> "Ox" -> and "Snake" seals in his left hand and the one-handed variant of the clone seal in his right. Immediately two Shadow Clones would poof onto the battlefield 2 meters behind Kaito, one to the left of his back and the other to the right of his back, and the two clones would run south until they reached a safe enough distance of 50 meters behind Kaito. Upon reaching this distance the two clones would each sit down upon the ground and meditate, trying to collect some nature energy within themselves as they did so.

The speed at which the "Wind-Style: Overwhelming Presence" expanded would be much faster than Uranus' "Cosmos Stride", and it would be stronger as well. Once the man would reach the edge of the cube 15 meters, putting him at 7.5 meters in front of Kaito, his "Cosmos Stride" technique would simply end; not being strong enough to proceed any further. Uranus too would feel his Chakra and Strength deplete significantly [Taking into account Uranus' previous enhancements, after coming into contact with the cube, Uranus' STRENGTH = 150 & CHAKRA =100]. Also, should the man try to use his "Blue Oni: Thunder Cannon" technique as previously stated, it simply would not break through the highly pressurized wind that occupied the cube. It would also be at the time of Uranus coming into contact with the edge of the cube that Kaito would release from his mouth a torrent of earth that took the shape of a dragon. This earthen dragon would have its mouth open and the open mouth would measure 3 meters in length. This dragon would also exit Kaito's mouth with a speed of [150], and upon coming into contact with Uranus, would deal a decent [150] amount of damage as the dragon carried the man in its mouth 28 meters away from the Uchiha in the same direction from which Uranus came. This would put the man into contact with the edge of Kaito's active Kamui, and Uranus would be subjected to the space-time technique's [150] power as it again attempted to suck him into itself. Should this work, the "Earth And Stone Dragon" would immediately be stopped by Kaito himself right as it met the edge of his Kamui.

Sensing that something was not right as the "Earth And Stone Dragon" was still forming in his mouth, Kaito would activate his right Mangekyō Sharingan's special ability. Not requiring any hand seals, the Uchiha's right eye would begin to bleed profusely as his body began to fade away into his Kamui dimension. He was not teleporting himself there, rather he was allowing himself to become intangible.

It would be just in time too as he began to be sucked toward Uranus, almost as though he was in some sort of vacuum.

Kaito's intangible body would be pulled fiercely into the direction of the dragon he had created, but as he was now intangible he would simply phase right through it. It would be in this intangible state that Kaito would remain until he felt that he was able to collect himself and continue in this fight. The old man sure had been a lot stronger than he had thought when the fight began...

As Kaito's body began to be sucked into the metaphorical vacuum, both of his clones would stop 16 meters from where he once stood. They turned around, having heard the commotion, and both looked at each other before nodding and turning their attention back towards Uranus. The clone on the left would form the "Ox" -> "Monkey" -> "Hare" -> "Rat" -> and "Boar" hand seals to perform the "Water Dragon Bullet" technique while the clone on the right would form the "Tiger" -> "Ox" -> "Monkey" -> "Rabbit" -> "Ram" -> and "Dragon" hand seals to perform the "Great Vortex Technique". With the clones standing only 2 meters away from each other, they would both expel a violent torrent of water from their mouths. The water from the first clone would form the take the shape of a dragon with glowing yellow eyes, expanding outwards from a 0.5-meter base to 30 meters in radius. The water from the second clone would form a large cyclone, which would expand outwards to encompass the water dragon. This would be the formation of the "Water Release: Spiraling Water Dragon" collaboration technique, and directly after Kaito became fully intangible the technique would make contact with Uranus with [165] power. If executed correctly, this would come into direct contact with Uranus before the assassin could pull off his "Red Oni: Eruption" technique, and as the "Water Release: Spiraling Water Dragon" was faster than the real Kaito's "Earth And Stone Dragon" and both techniques were going in the exact same direction, Uranus would be smashed between the two techniques and would ultimately perish from coming into the full force of both techniques.

Realizing that using his Kamui's phasing ability would be useless, Kaito would opt rather not to use it at all. Instead, he would stop molding the chakra to keep his "Earth And Stone Dragon" active in the first place. The clones too, realizing that their respective techniques would hit their creator, would also cease their molding of Chakra as well. The clone on the right, thinking fast, would hurriedly form the one-handed variants of the "Monkey" -> "Ox" -> "Snake" -> and "Rat" seals with its hand out of Uranus' sight. Harmless waves of water would splash down upon the earth, covering Kaito and most likely Uranus both in drizzles. Instead of hitting the "Earth And Stone Dragon", Kaito would come into contact with Uranus' fist face first, making the young man cringe with pain as blood spewed from his mouth and he took a massive amount of [250] damage.

It would be directly after Uranus ended his "ERF - World In Sleeves" technique that the clone who formed the seals would catch the man in its "Genjutsu Binding" technique; activating it without hesitation as the clone would easily be in the man's peripheral vision and catching the assassin in a genjutsu-induced shroud of fear. Even if the man could easily snap out of the genjutsu, it gave the real Kaito more than enough time to escape. It would be at this point that the real Kaito formed the one-handed variant of the "Ram" seal and with his "Body Flicker Technique" maneuvered 53 meters to his left. He angled this technique in such a way that he would land atop the roof of the west wing of the academy, and as there were no trees to block his path, this teleportation should go off without a hitch. Now planted upon the roof and about as far away from Uranus as he could get, Kaito activated his right eye's Kamui's ability of teleportation; allowing himself to teleport away at the highest possible [150] speed that he could muster thanks to his beaten down state. The assassin had proved to be too much for the Uchiha councilman of Sunagakure, and he had learned back in the academy that fleeing from a stronger enemy to preserve one's life was acceptable under certain circumstances.

This, in his mind, would have to be one of those circumstances.

Should his teleportation work, he would find himself in his personal Kamui dimension, beaten down and in a sorry state both physically and mentally. At least he would be safe from the assassin, however...
