A Deal With the Devil

Ishimaru stared at the desk and the note he had written with some thought about what he had been doing. Nothing felt wrong in this decision or this journey, but something within him still stirred that wanted more. The two he had at his side were his brothers, two gears that turned this village. The hat that had been embroidered with the will of fire itself, the emblem of the land of fire and its Kage. To the side of it sat something for his next successor, at least someone who will hold the reigns of the village while he went to try something different. Stepping out of the office he would give it one last look before smiling. On second thought. He would step back in and using a single motion reach into vault of the village and take a small amount, 20,000 exactly. With that in mind he would disappear in a flash of black and yellow into the outer gates of the village. Strapping a straw hat onto his head he would being to head to the ports of Tanzaku town. The only one to see him leave would be Ryuza, one of the loyal members of the Anbu. Turning to his friend, he would only seen the pulsing red of his Kage's eyes as he smiled," Let the Demon know there is a present for him in the office. He'll know what it means." And without question he would head to Aoki's domicile.

When Aoki arrived to the office he would indeed see a note and the hat. Should he pick up the note he would see the following,

"It is time for our village to grow in unexpected ways. There was once a time where our predecessors controlled large sums of the Shinobi world and all feared it. I do not see us going so far but there is one place we can grow and bring into the fold as they once did us. Even if tensions were eased by one, it may very well go back to chaos. For that reason I am taking a small trip. By the time you get another message from me it will be in a new seat. Until then, the hat and the seat are yours. May our home continue to grow and expand. Oh I also borrowed a small amount from the treasury. I'll return it back in kind. Until our next meeting,

[handing the title of Hokage to Aokidanza and removing -20K from Konoha's Treasury. In addition also exiting the village via FTG]

Ryuza, in an unexpected haste found his way to Aokidanza’s quarters, who was already up going over some files from previous recordings of Kage summits. Ryuza manifesting in hopes of bowing before his sire, head of root, head of the Anbu, but instead found himself kneeling before Yachiru. Her crystal blue eyes, as gloomy as they were, menacingly fixed themselves on him. “Out so late, Ryuza? What brings you?” Her gentle tone would reach his ears, he locked his eyes with her’s. Ryuza was not a man that carried fear in his heart, but Yachiru always left him feeling unease.

“Pardon my intrusion, I have a message for Lord Aokidanza, it is from Lord Hokage. His words exactly were “Let the demon know there is a present for him in the office.”.” With that said he would lower his head. Aokidanza, just a few feet away from them both reading over a particularly interesting entry from a summit involving Hoshi and Kiri on Konoha’s cost - lifts his head to gaze over towards them both. “He said those words? Thank you, Ryuza, you are dismissed. Come, Yachiru.” Both Anbu did as he directed.

Forming a single seal, while Yachiru was in contact with his shoulder the two vanished in a dark purple flags of lightning. Instantaneously appearing within the Hokage chambers before the hat and the letter. Yachiru steps back, motioning over towards the chamber entrance. “I will stand guard.” She informed. The Demon would take the letter and read over its content. Understanding it fully he did not speak a single word, instead he released the most eerie, nerve shaking, hair rising smile.

The hat was now in his hand, he inspected it to grant it appreciation. He found himself at a crossroads, he was now Hokage - responsible for the lives of the village. He would have to come to terms with this. He then place the hat on. It was official at that point. No need for a ceremony. “Yachiru, looks like plans have been pushed ahead on the schedule.”
