Mission ARC 1:

In another world, in seemingly another time altogether - where the qualms of life seemed to fade into a distant memory like a bad dream - Mizuki Ohta found herself in a new land. It seemed as though every so often she found herself transported somehow to a new world with its own set of rules and instead of fighting against it she went with them. Information gathering at all costs with little to no backlash was an easy enough reason for her; and it seemed it was an easy enough reason for her brother too. Though the last they had spoken was rather rough the two had come together into this place and spoke little of it, focusing on the here and now of the predicament. 

It had been a few days since their arrival on the tropical island, at first she was hesitant to leave the shelter of her Noppera-bō but she hadn’t seen any reason to continue it in this new place where no one knew where they were, let alone herself. So after the first few hours of roaming she had shed the skin and walked as herself - it was still odd to her after all these months to see herself in reflections and when she looked down but it didn’t show on her face; only mild interest in the locale would be evident. Half way through the first day she had found her brother wandering in a similar fashion, had she taught him well or was it just the way of their clan to be determined watchers. 

She had gone shopping in those hours before their meeting to blend in better, along with the fact that it was sweltering in her usual clothing. What she found though was more along the lines of lingerie… It took her several shops before she finally settled on the most covered of the options. Finally settling on a black one piece that sat mid way up her hips with a high neckline that covered her throat and partial shoulder coverage, and adorned with a cut out that started at her collar bone and stopped at her sternum. The cut out was not the most practical but she was beginning to sweat in her clothes that she settled on it out of sheer necessity. It was this, with her hair pulled back in a high ponytail, that she stood in front of Arantima. “A beach this time, not what I would have chosen for a vacation but hey… why not, maybe we will get a tan.”, her joke was said with only the slightest joking tone, though she knew that the sun would never change the tone of her skin - pearl white was the only shade she or he would ever be. “Have you come across anything promising?”

She couldn't help her attention to be drawn to the congealed shore line, notices or not some people were either unobservant or over confident in these realms. She had seen the notices about the heightened shark attacks which gave her the unprecedented feeling their presence was not one due to ability but for need - they weren't the only shinobi of talent in the area. Her eyes scanned the beach goers once more with a more discerning expression, trying to ignore the heart beats around her she honed in on the expression and emotions portrayed by those in her eye line and it seemed easy going overall; with only a few seeing the sign and trying to drag their more confident fellow back.  

She wasn’t as unobservant to catch the frequent glances to her by Arantima, causing her to cross her arms across her chest under her bust and dig her nails slightly into the fabric to hold them in place - clearly uncomfortable with the amount of skin she showed. In a hushed tone she spoke in near absent mindedness, “Please refrain from acknowledging my lack of attire, I feel it with every raised heartbeat that passes…” 

In that moment a great thrashing caught her immediate attention as she directed her line of sight, arms still tight around her chest, to the shoreline - as a great fin crested the white peaks the waves formed. Creating a loud ruckus that caused several people in the vicinity to  scury back. The echoed of the jolting and differentiating heartbeats hit her like its own tidal wave she found herself cringing back from the sound. Turning her pained expression on him she was met with his own variety of emotion. Worry and concern being the most evident, which made her jaw clench in its own reaction - but he still deferred to her in these realms regardless of the time apart. Was this the responsibility of the Clan Head or was this just Arantima? The thought was cut short as the screams of young girls up 20 feet from the shore screeched through the air. The frown that touched her lips seeped into her eyes - disdain wasn’t strong enough an emotion for this reaction. The noise was enough to make her lose her mind with enough time - was this why she avoided people or another… 

“I say we have observed enough don’t you? We know the problem and we know the deplorable people we are contracted to protect lest we be stuck here…” The last bit was her own unproved hypothesis of these places they find themselves in, no way to escape until certain contracted things are dispelled from the world…. Like her goal to rid the world of politics..

She shook her head slightly as if brushing off the sun her bangs fell in her eyes and she looked at Arantima with a false familiar glint to her eyes - the Hyuuga side dormant and pale while the Kyuketsuki side lit up with an internal flame; drawing attention to the deepening crimson ring that nearly swallowed the violet. “First things first…” her hands moved smoothly through the 8 hand signs as fast as her words and by the time they were done the rain clouds were already hovering in the once clear blue sky - instantly clouded with normal looking clouds; laden with a downpour given their dark colored nature. She wasn’t going to use blood techs just yet, letting the natural rain color and clear the beach as their task showed bright in front of them. 

With a whisper, one so low she didn’t expect even Arantima to hear as she stepped toward the fleeing shoreline, “You’re not wishing me well..” The torrent of the now aggravated fin swam back and forth, “So I wish you to hell.” As she continued to approach the beach, her expression taking on more apprehension mixed with expectancy she was interrupted with similarly dressed people with different heart beats. This caused her to stop short, the thunder clapping above them giving their warning to those unfit for such scenarios- but they were calm and ready. Tilting her head to the side a bit she couldn't help but forget Arantima not some feet behind her as she stared at these non Kyuketsuki; loud and obtrusive. 

Leaning only a little forward to talk to the closest member who was momentarily distracted with the oncoming clouds, the whisper that came out of those perfect set lips was more a warning than anything before, laced with venom. “Leave before you get called a casualty.. This is my only warning.”
