Of course there had been previous instances where events deemed impossible occured so perhaps it would be true. Just how people were able to spit out fire and use ninja "magic" surely there were others capable of defying life and death. Akaboshi listened as the doctor informed him further, sharing any chance of after effects had been eliminated now that the man had come up with a different approach of how to make sure the application of a Curse Mark would have a hundred percent chance of success.

Noticing the Terumi sounded rather confident in his ability to apply such a seal without any trouble took away whatever hesitation there was left in the Nova Captain. If there was even a slight chance of gaining power which could be used to protect Hoshigakure it was a risk he would be willing to take. "Name your price", in the meantime Akaboshi removed his white cloak while awaiting the next step. He would then make seals for Orochimaru's juinjutsu grab the Uzumaki by both shoulders sharing his immortality the seal of Creation spreading down his body and finally bite the neck of Akaboshi.

The Terumi would hold firm as the Uzumaki dropped. As he expected such a thing and wouldn't let go as the man writhed in pain. Not letting go until the procedure was done and Akaboshi remained alive with his temporary immortality.

Reaching inside one of his side pockets Akaboshi would retrieve his money pouch before taking out a total sum of 30.000 ryo, a small price to pay if it meant he'd gain something powerful in return. After placing the bag full of coin on a table nearby the Nova Commander prepared himself for what's to come. What followed then was a combination of all sorts of emotions and feelings, the man completely taken over by both pain and eventually darkness as he began to lose consciousness. When he finally came by again and both his eyes were opened Akaboshi noticed he was laying down and still in Akabayashi's presence.

It appeared the protection of his temporary immortality allowed the Nova captain to live and tell the tale, an outcome he could only have hoped for considering the risk. "How long was I out for?" Akaboshi asked as he slowly got back up. Even if the seal had been successfully applied there was stil a lot he didn't know about it. "I take it the mark will require a form of training to adjust to its powers?". Since the Doctor was the one selling and applying them it would be only more than normal that he'd be the one having the answers.

If that was all the doctor would take the 30k ryo and place it into his wallet. Which was quite stuffed. "There are more seals if you are interested." He would say hoping to have his leaders patronage once again.
