Bean Buns and Making Merry [Open, Social]

Making his way towards the great spire of Sunagakure, Honey Bunches took pause for a moment so that he may appreciate the beauty of the forestry surrounding the great tower. Brushing his hands on a few leaves as he passes a bush, he looks up into the air and decides to give some pause to his patrols around the village, deciding instead to find somewhere to eat, and somebody to join him.

Digging around in his pack, he manages to find a scrap of paper he took from one of his missions as well as a pen he stole from the hospital to write MEET ME AT JIMENEZ BEAN BUNS in an inconspicuous place near a mission board. The crumpled scrap paper, lined with a completed mission’s paperwork, was in clear contrast to the other neatly posted requests on the mission board, but the purpose was clear.

“Hey,” he would say to anyone that happened to be nearby. Honey Bunches stood at his full height, his hat, jacket, and sunglasses in a position so that most of his face was hidden, looking threatening with his body language as he surveyed the crowd, sniffing the air with great gusto.

“I just came into some real chuh-ching, if you know what I mean. The coins with the holes that we use for our tolls.”

He says this with dead seriousness as he looks menacingly off towards the distance, tilting his hat up. As he moves, his ninja headband is obviously clear on his belt, and he puts his hands on his hips, looking around for anyone he could invite to come with him.

“I’ll pay…”

Classic. Much like his bar crawl that 1. didn't leave a single buildilng and 2. resulted in snakeskin strolling to his death, there was nobody particularly interested in the notice he posted.

That, or maybe it was the way he was standing. It seemed like most ninjas didn't have time to hang around and do something purely for enjoyment, and in that aspect Honey was the opposite. He wanted nothing more at this moment than to spend the last of his time with the responsibilities of a glorified mall cop: relaxing, not worrying about the safety of the village more than an eye out and jobs to do. His obsession with circling the village was almost problematic, as he had no rank and thus no status. He would just be another genin wandering about, slacking on their missions.

Shaking off the thought, Honey rips off his shoddy notice, deciding instead to walk along a path to discover some bean buns, or perhaps a bar. Deciding against his better judgement, he throws himself through the door of a bar, getting his wallet ready to have a time of his life, even if he was drinking alone. Friendship or not, Honey would make a night to remember.

Cramming almost a thousand ryo worth of bean buns down his throat, Honey stumbles out, going off into the distance, probably to find some kind of seafood or smthn. He thanked the random gentleman for paying for his meal. The man looked confused, and Honey traveled off into the distance.
