Food Shopping [Solo]

Mission:

The day was sunny and cool, thankfully so since Mizuki had taken to wearing the long black kimono at all times when she wasn’t in her own home - in the temperature outside of the village and outside of the protection of the weather barrier Kenshin had installed, she would be baking. In this instance she was also attempting to not look so intimidating, as her mission required her to deal with an elderly woman - The nin who now called the new Sunagakure officially home had a lot of public relations to make up for… given that the village was taken the way it was - so she attempted to make herself look less threatening. Gathering her long locks into a messy bun at the back of her head and securing it with a few carefully placed senbon gave her face friendlier appeal - though the exposure of her neck bothered her in more ways than she would care to admit. Her face, while devoid of makeup, looked smooth as porcelain and just as striking, thankfully her outward appearance made her far more approachable than some of the new citizens she had met - Sebastian came to mind in that department.

Finally she made her way over to the address that was listed on the mission scroll she had picked up the morning prior, on the east side of the village in a small community of elderly, she came to meet her, Mrs. Isa Kanoi. Short in stature, or perhaps hunched with age, she greeted her with initial reservations. Mizuki immediately fell into the persona needed to ease the woman - relaxing her shoulders and taking on a soft tone to her voice she thanked the woman graciously and bowed in respect as she was handed the list, promising to return as soon as she was able.

The trip to the shopping center closest to the woman's house was uneventful, as she was not wearing traditional shinobi garb nor was she wearing anything indicating what she was she was unencumbered by any glances or skirting around her - though her porcelain looks and dramatic wardrobe still called a different attention as she glided toward the building in question. The list the elderly woman had given her was simple enough to follow - Basics really; Eggs, bread, flour, generic assortment of meats and something sweet with a note asterisks on claiming it was her choice. Folding the list up she slid it into a pocket as she grabbed a basket at the door as she made her way through the ails. Her kimono flowing behind her with each step, the basket only getting minuscule heavy on her arm as she laddened it with everything requested before finally stopping the bakery section - taking a few moments to scan around before settling on a package of Dango Dumplings that were made earlier that morning, grabbing two - one for herself of course - she headed to the check out and waited patiently as she paid and waited for the items to be bagged.

Grabbing the few bags in her arms she left without another word - heading back to the woman's home in no time and depositing the groceries on the table. The lady was very grateful - probably due to the fact that she was who she was and not because of the very basic task she just performed - giving a single bow to the woman she flashed a smile, holding back the sneer as she listened to the uptick in the thrumming of the woman's heart before departing.

Seems as though no matter the good work they do the people will always have a slight fear of the shinobi who walked the village of Sunagakure.
