Chuuninn Exams [Ikari vs. Hikaru]

"It's time!" Ikari yelled to himself as he walked through the tunnel that led into the large battlefield that was the Warmonger arena. He stood in the place he was told to stand, being 80 meters away from the opponent's designated position, and being 20 meters away from the wall behind him. The blood on the floor was something to look at, very fascinating to him. "They don't even bother cleaning the grounds? Sweet." 

Ikari readied himself mentally and physically, he had been training his hardest lately to get to this point, the the point of being able to compete in these exams. While he wasn't sure if he was ever going to make it, he did in fact prove his own doubts wrong and he was within the arena, ready for his first bout. This was going to be the first step, in many steps of the journey of him becoming a serious ninja. He knew that even within this exam that death was in fact a possibility, but that didn't scare him. It instead fueled him, knowing that he was going to have to give it his all and then some to actually be able to perform to the standards that this great village required of its citizens. 

Ikari stood in his fighting stance, with the seal of confrontation already held up in front of him. Was he ready? He didn't know. But that is something he was about to find out. Should his opponent prove to be a worthy opponent.

Ikari stood there, the roar of the crowds beginning to boo and call for the opponent to show them self. Ikari could not help but to agree with the crowd. A voice came over the loud speaker. "Hikaru has been disqualified due to their lack of appearance, we will quickly get to the next fight for the exams. Sorry for the delay, folks!" Ikari would feel for the crowd and he would wave at them, apologizing for his absent opponent. Ikari would then leave the arena, waiting for his name to be called for the next set of fights, or for a triple threat that was possibly coming.
