"HIKKKAAARRRRRIIIIIIII-CHAAAAAANNNNNNN!!!!!!"

Namikaze hated her life right now.  

She hated Tanji for not doing anything for the nearly 4 months he was in power for. She hated Yasaki for doing nearly nothing for however long he was in power for. She hated the shinobi of Hoshigakure that had gone rogue and hadn't come back yet. But most importantly.... Hikari hated Shina for putting her on this weird escort mission. She hated Shina for taking the one day Hikari had requested off for the past month and placing her on this 'emergency mission'. Under normal circumstances, the blonde would never use a word such as 'hate', but she was already at her limits right now with this weirdo constantly hitting on her. Perhaps it was the Gobi finally starting to get to her that was putting her in a sour mood.

The Kunochi was escorting the man through the streets of Hoshigakure and towards the gates of said village. She was walking in front, her Eye if Heaven activated underneath her hood system, trying to make sure no one around was going to jump her client. She had been warned that many people inside of Hoshigakure would have ill wishes against him. It made sense, honestly, with how many times the man had 'accidentally' bumped into in the 20 minutes it took to walk from the royal palace to the gates, she almost wanted to listen to the demonic beast advice and eliminate the man herself.

"Come on Hikari-chan! Once we get to our location, let me take you out on a date! It could just be a short one!"

And there he went again. "Lord Yuji," Hikari would explain again. ”I've already told you once, it would be insanely unprofessional for me to go on a date with a client. Besides, as I have said, I have a boyfriend."

"Nonsense!" He would continue to pressure the Alpha again. "It has been a life long dream of mine to date an Angel! Please Hikari-Chan, you can't let me miss this opportunity!"

Hikari was known for her patience around clients, she has had clients spit in her face before, threaten her, and attempt to change a mission in the middle of an operation. Still, she has always been calm and cordial to her clients no matter what. She would never hold a desire to harm one who was paying the village she loved. That being said, this man was really pushing it though, making fun of the golden Halo that floated above the crown of Hikari's head.

"Lord Yuji, I once again have to insist no." The blonde would explain, thanking the heavens that she wasn't in her combat uniform at the time. Often she wore more exposing clothing while she was on duty to prevent any of her techniques from catching on her own clothes. Right now though she was completely modestly dressed, her hair in a long braid that fell to her lower back, wearing baggy light yellow sweater with tight blue jeans that clung around her her bottom. Heavy brown boots would protect her feet from the late fall-early winter cold. She didn't have any of her weapons on her currently due to the late warning for the mission, but she didn't really need them as the majority of her arsenal came from her techniques and not her abilities with a blade.


After a few more minutes of being harassed, Hikari would find herself at the gate, an older horse-drawn carriage would be parked to the side of the front gates which would be transporting the team and Yuji to their destination. All that was left was to wait for the rest of Hikari's team to come and to suffer through listening to the weird man clumsily continue to try to flirt with the Kunochi.

Kuniko stood in Hoshi’s ninja shop, eyeing the wares and assessing his funds. He was thinking about purchasing a sword. A Hyuuga didn’t need one, but it was also important to have a spare weapon just in case. Since he was a medical ninja now, the genin had already parted from the traditional Hyuuga style of combat. He had already seen some of the more powerful techniques of the gentle fist and found their form distasteful. 

His gaze eventually fell upon a sword that suited his fancy. It had a simple dark wooden hilt and sheath without any embellishments except a carving of the maker’s brand and a small rope loop on the sheath. The sword lacked a guard, but Kuniko doubted he would be using it enough to need one. After paying the shop owner, the gentle eyed Hyuuga walked out into the street and tied the sword to the sash around his waist. The dark, polished brown wood of the sheath matched nicely with his dark purple hakama. 

As Kuniko began walking back to his home, a ninja approached from the shadow of an ally. After courteous acknowledgements were made, the ninja handed over a small scroll and vanished in a puff of smoke. Kuniko walked into the alley to read the message and saw he had another mission and was to report to the gates. The young man shot a nervous glance at his sword and muttered to himself, “I didn’t think I would have to use you this soon…”

With that, Kuniko began walking to the gate after pocketing the scroll. When he arrived, he noticed a familiar face. It was the Lady Hikari, as well as a stranger next to a horse drawn carriage. Kuniko walked up to the two and stopped at a respectful distance before bowing and saying in a calm tone, “greetings, Deputy Hogokage. I am honored to accompany you on a mission once more.” 

By the time he looked up from his bow Kuniko could sense that something was amiss but he couldn’t guess what. He decided to introduce himself to the twitchy stranger as well. While still bowed, the genin said “my name is Kuniko Hyuuga, it is a pleasure to meet you.” Only then did he determine it acceptable to stand up straight. He then looked upward at Hikari to await her instructions. It seemed even she had several inches on him.

Takeshi was in the training grounds, he was continuing to practice his combat fighting alongside his very own Earth Golem. After only an hour of training had gone by. An ally of the village came up to Takeshi and handed him a scroll. He thanked the stranger and waved at him as the messenger vanished into what seemed like thin air. Takeshi released the Earth Golem jutsu and began reading the scroll that he had been given.

The scroll read that Takeshi's presence was being requested at the village gates, he had another mission to do. Takeshi turned to face the large tree that sat in the training area he was in and began walking towards it to grab his backpack. He opened his bag and set the scroll inside, picked his backpack up and threw it over his shoulder. He turned toward the rest of the village and walked toward the village gates.

When he arrived, he saw his teammate Kuniko, and a Hoshi higher up that went by the name of Hikari, then there was some other fellow that Takeshi had never seen before. After recovering from his heart attack from the realization that Kuniko arrived somewhere before he did, he continued walking toward the gates to meet with the rest of the company. When he met with the group, he raised his hand and waved at the attending members with a cheerful greeting. "Hello friends! I take it you are the other members of this mission?" Takeshi had pulled his backpack around and pulled the scroll out to show why he was there.

Takeshi looked at the interesting looking gentleman next to Hikari, and pondered as to why he seemed so fidgety and uncomfortable looking. He paid it no mind and waved towards him also, saying, "Hello there! I am not sure if you are part of this mission or not, but hello in either case." Takeshi put the scroll back into his backpack and he waited for any further instructions on what their mission was going to be and what each member of the team was going to be doing for the mission.

As the two shinobi came up to Hikari, she would smile, "Hello Kuniko, Takeshi, looks like I am with you two again." The Kunochi would say with a smile on her face. She was happy to have the hyugga boys on this mission. While under normal circumstances Hikari may loathe having to babysit less experienced shinobi on S rank missions, this one was for sure different. It had only been three days since Minamoto Yuji had gone on his drunken rampage, so any bounty hunters worth any note would not have had time to arrive in Haven country, so only local rabble would be able to answer the call in time. The Deputy Hogokage felt fairly confident in the two Gennin's abilities to keep the client safe during this time. (Also, having two sets of Byakugan on the team seemed like it would be a pretty good idea.)

"This here is our client. Mr. Minamoto Yuji, son Mr. Funanara Yuji, founder and president of Yuji metal works. He came here a few weeks ago with his father in order to set up a deal with the company and a few of our local weapon providers.... when.... well... lets just say Mr. Yuji here made a few enemies, and now has a bounty on his head" The woman would turn to her client. "Mr. Yuji this is Kuniko and Takashi Hyu....."

At this point the larger man to the side of Hikari would speak up. "Don't bother." the man child would explain. "They're both disgusting smelly men, I'm not going to remember their names. Hey, tell me, I told my father to request that only Kunochi escort me. Why was that request not fulfilled?"

It would take a lot of self control for Hikari not to slap the man there and then.  "I could not tell you, Mr. Yuji. I had no idea why you would be denied that request." The deputy Hogokage would respond, secretly starting to understand that this must be Shina trying to get revenge on Hikari for leaving her the academy for a few months during Hikari's absences, before turning back to the pair of Hyuuga's. "Anyways.... Our mission is simple, just get him to the borders and another team will take over for us. Isn't even a long ride so our mission should be easy."

Hikari would move toward the cart and jump onto it. "Should be simple enough, with luck we shouldn't be gone for more than a few hours. That being said, if there is anyone that is going to jump us, it will probably be after we have passed the village. So yes.... should be easy enough."

The large man would come up to the cart and try to hobble on, but would be unable to. "HIKARI-CHAN! I can't seem to get up on here! Mind giving me a hand?"

The woman would nervously shiver as the thought of willingly touching the slime ball crossed her mind. "Um... would one of you mind helping him up? Also, I am going to need one of you to drive the cart, and the other to keep an eye out on our surroundings."

At this point of time the woman would take a seat in the cart, waiting for the two boys to get a move on.

Kuniko looked nervously between Hikari and the 'man' she called Yuji. He was several Kuniko's wide and a head taller. Perhaps not an impressive feat on its own, but he carried his weight with such crudeness that it was remarkable.  He was ill mannered and foul-faced. However, his family were powerful business folk and those were the kind of people Kuniko had gotten to know over his few years of traveling. 

The genin turned towards Takeshi and calmly said, "would you be willing to steer the cart? I have plenty of experience guarding travelling merchants and steering their transport, but if you have never done it yourself now would be some good practice. You may also want to greet the horses that will be drawing our cart."

The young Hyuuga gently grabbed at his long dark hair and tied it up in a high ponytail. It was important not to have hindrances while on guard duty after all. Kuniko then walked up beside the man they would be escorting. With a polite smile and a gentle voice, Kuniko looked up at the larger man and said, "Lord Yuji, may I offer you assistance?" The small genin would then gently place his hand on Yuji's back and try to give him a gentle push up into the cart.

Takeshi watched as the group of Hikari, Kuniko and Lord Yuji seemed so awkward around each other it made Takeshi feel physically ill. But Takeshi took it in stride and walked toward the cart to help Yuji. Just as he was walking up, Kuniko had helped the man and offered Takeshi the chance to steer the cart for this mission while Kuniko kept watch over their surroundings. Not really being worried as to which position he took on the mission, Takeshi accepted the offer and hopped onto the cart. He looked over his right shoulder and asked if everyone was ready to go. He would wait in the front bench for the go ahead to start navigating their way through town, and to their destination.

As the long haired Hyuuga started to help the large man child up, the Kunochi silently beged him to not and instead get on the cart and help him that way. But Alas, Kuniko would finish and the business man's child would come up and sit right next to Hikari. Like... right next to her. He could have picked anywhere else on the cart to sit, but for some reason the man decided to sit as physically close to Hikari as hummanly possible. She silently groaned agian, which was becomeing a stable of this mission, while she awaited the others to take their place.

Hikari would continueing monitoring the surrounding areas with her Eye of Heaven technique. "Keep an eye underground while you are looking." The Kunochi would explain to the other scout as she did. "Some hostiles prefer to come from underground rather than above it." She would explain before stoping and thinking about what she said for a minute.

"Come to think of it...." The Deputy Hogokage would continue. "We have some hours before we hit our location. You both are still fairly new to being shinobi, correct? At the bitterleast, I don't recall you two from the shinobi roster I was in charge of about a year ago. If the two of you had any questions or need any advice, now might be a good time to ask. No offense to any of your teachers at the accademy, but I most likely have much more battlefeild experience than any of them."

With that, the woman would wait for the two to ask any questions they may have had.

After the three ninjas got onto the cart along with their charge, they began to set out. Takeshi was steering the cart, so Kuniko climbed in the back along with Hikari and Lord Yuji. Hikari explained herself with a pride that Kuniko was beginning to think was standard for all shinobi. The young Hyuuga sat down across from the other two passengers on the cart as the Deputy Hogokage asked if there were an questions. Kuniko would look up to her with raised eyebrows and calmly explain, "I've actually spent the last few years travelling with merchants along the road just like on this mission. Though no one was after them back then. My family had sent me away..." Kuniko began to trail off as he watched Lord Yuji began to drool slightly while ogling the Deputy Hogokage. 

The pale-eyed shinobi sighed quietly to himself and then activated his Byakugan. Veins would just out along the sides of Kuniko's face as his sight expanded beyond the range of the wagon. The young Hyuuga would be using his Byakugan up to a 100 meters in a complete sphere in all directions. He searched for any sign of people hiding or moving otherwise unseen through the terrain. Thanks to his extensive training with Tsubaki Senju, Kuniko was able to easily maintain a simple conversation while exploring his surroundings with the Byakugan. He brushed his bangs gently with his hands and then asked the gibbering mass before him, "Lord Yuji, I am curious to know since we are escorting you to the border, do you have any family or close friends that you are leaving behind in Hoshi? A wife perhaps?"

Takeshi had hopped into the wagon and took the reins for the horses. He was looking over his shoulder and realize that everyone was in the wagon. Assuming that they were all ready, he checked the horses to ensure that they were all ready. Once he was sure, the team of Hikari, Kuniko, Yuji and himself were on the move. When Hikari explained to Kuniko that some assailants would prefer to come from underground rather than above it, Takeshi laughed, that is exactly what he would do, should he be the one trying to rob their caravan. 

He also knew that this idea was quite unlikely, anyone with the ability to sense chakra would feel Hikari's chakra from an extreme distance, then his own as well as hers shortly thereafter. It would be a near suicide mission to try and take this team on unless you had quite the numbers to back it up. But either way, Takeshi had his Byakugan active also. Not that he didn't trust Kuniko's ability as a lookout, but he figured it would be best to have more than one lookout, especially on such a high ranking mission. 

The Deputy Hogokage had asked the two young ninja if they had any questions. Takeshi thought for a moment about any questions that he may have had for such a high ranking ninja. Would he ask about being a Jinchuriki? What about missing ninja? Finally, he decided to ask about the former. He was extremely interested in becoming a Jinchurriki, for they, in his eyes, were one of the most important tools in battle.

"I do have a question actually" Takeshi turned his head, so he could look at Hikari and the road at the same time. "I want to become the Jinchurriki for the four tails. What would you recommend I do to be ready for that?" Takeshi knew that this was a big question, so he waited eagerly for the higher up to answer him.

"Huh, traveling around, so you haven't spent the majority of your life in the academy." Hikari would take note of the branch member's words. Her face was a bit flustered, knowing that the perverted client was staring at her. "I myself was a tavern girl up until about 4 years ago when I started training at the academy. It didn't take long before I joined the military and quickly rose the ranks of Hoshigakure to find myself as Deputy Kage." It wouldn't take long for the Akari to look over at her client who was nearly drooling at the mouth for the woman. The Kunochi would look down at her outfit, it was nothing fancy nice or seductive. Just normal everyday clothes. What was wrong with this man?

In response to Kuniko's question the man would stretch his arms up in the air. Namikaze would look away, knowing what was coming, "Nope, none at all." he would explain, "I live in Earth Country, my father used to help Tengakure with their research all the time. So this trip to Haven was just a bit of a vacation. And I don't have a wife or child." He would say, a smile coming over his mouth as he spoke and wrapped his arm around Hikari. "But I might have found a possible candidate recently."

Without as much as a word, Hikari take not of the fact that the man was touching her shoulders and neck and use that to place a 5 elemental seal on his forearm area, causing the client to black out and collapse next to her. "Oh... it Looks like Mr. Yuji needed to take a nap." Hikari would explain, trying to scoot away from him. "Allowing him to sleep would probably be for the best." The Akari would explain.

At this point, Takeshi would ask about becoming a Jinchuriki for the four tails and what he should do, this would take Hikari aback once again, very suprised about how open the boy was to this. "Um...." Hikari would think for a second, honestly to make someone into a weapon such as a Jinchuriki would be something that the Akari wouldn't wish on anyone. "I can't lie to you, Tadashi." Hikari would explain, "I have had multiple people in my life that I knew that were Jinchurikis. One of my boyfriends was a Jinchuriki, the First Hogokage was a Jinchuriki, the third Hogokage was a Jinchuriki, and another Jounin in Hoshigakue was a Jinchuriki at one point. All of them ended up being corrupted by their bijuu's power. Every last one of them. And all of them were killed by their own greed shortly after succumbing to the monster." The Akari wouldn't mention that Valen had come back to life, it wasn't important to the point she was trying to get across. "My advice on how to become ready for being a Jinchuriki? Steel yourself mentally. Learn to not give into temptation. Prepare your mind to be harrassed by the desire to betray everyone you love on a daily basis. And most importantly, pray that you never will have to become a Jinchuriki." The Kunochi would explain.

On that somber note, the rest of the trip would go quietly. Every once in a while Hikari would flair her chakra up with a display of power, scaring off any would be bandits away from the wagon. Once the truck got to their drop off point, the team would hand over the client to the next team. With that, Hikari would place her hands down and offer to teleport the boys back home before teleporting back to Hoshigakure herself.
