Shien seemed to have called it a night, and in all honestly Ikigai was glad he had. The boy was running on fumes, despite his unwillingness to show it to his lizard like friend. "I'll be sure to let you know Shien, have a good night" And with that he'd watch the boy leave before falling into the pond on his back, submerging himself under water with nothing but his thoughts.

What had happened on their mission still troubled him. The undead were not supposed to harm kumogakure shinobi. Youka had made that clear over the years, but today 3 shinobi had died because they had. The water served to help him think,  like shien had described earlier it was calming and tranquil. In this pond the noises from the outside did not exist, and Ikigai was one of the few who would never have to worry about coming back up for air.

He'd stay there the rest of the night, unable to sleep and lost in thought.
