Enter- Yuuko Moto's Super Intense Training!

"Ram, Snake, Tiger..."
Yuuko muttered to herself slowly, as she performed the corresponding hand signs. Earlier, she'd sent her father's personal assistant- who usually came and picked her up after classes- back home and promised she'd walk back before dark. She didn't have a lot of time to practice during class so she stayed behind afterwards to do some additional practice. Her sensei had mentioned that the Clone Technique was one of two vital techniques that she should learn prior to graduating from the Academy and becoming a full-fledged Genin. This was just one stepping stone in her path to becoming a great ninja. All the greatest ninjas had to start somewhere right?
But... learning the theory was one thing, actually performing the technique, on the other hand... She was supposed to feel her chakra moving towards her hands or something, right? Was there some small detail she'd left out in her studies?
Standing alone in the Academy's training field, the breeze blew and made the leaves rustle in the trees near her. Pretty soon, in the next one or two hours, the cicadas would begin to sing, signalling to her that she'd need to go home soon. In the meantime, she continued her pattern of getting to finishing the hand signs; pausing and waiting; looking back at her personal notes and scrolls; and trying again. She'd spent the first half hour of her solo practice time exactly like this; waiting for a reaction- anything shifting in her that told her that her technique was working. While the Academy had already taught her how to feel and be aware of one's own chakra, she felt no change within her even after the hand signs. She'd know for sure if it was moving. Evidently, it wasn't. At this point, the sequence of hand signs themselves were beginning to feel like second nature. She'd probably have nightmares of the ram-snake-tiger hand sign loop once she gets home.
Slightly vexed, she exhaled angrily and got back in position to try her hand signs again. She figured this time, she actually make a conscious effort to clear her head and actually perform instead of over thinking it. She took a deep breath, muttering to herself, "okay Yuuko... Forget about everything. You just need to do this". With that, she got into her tactical ninja position. First, she steadied herself by lowering her centre of gravity and keeping her feet apart, keeping her form strong. Next, she ensured she was aware of her general surroundings, in case she had to move quickly. After being sure of her surroundings, she performed the hand signs once more.
Ram...
Snake...
Tiger...
And suddenly she felt it; the moment when the chakra moved into a focused motion within her. Brow furrowing in concentration as she quickly attempted to mold the gathered chakra into her form, she ended up rushing through her process of creating the clones. She was so happy that she got the chakra to gather that she missed many details in her clones. Holding her breath, she slowly opened her eyes only to exclaim in horror at her two creations.
"AGH!!", she exclaimed, as she tried to jerk away from her spawns, "what the heck!!!! You two are not even stable!!!!". She pointed at the two Yuuko clones accusingly. "Why does sensei make this look easy???"
She scrutinized her two clones, wishing they could stay in place as she walked with them in circles. "Just focus, Yuuko... You can do it. You're top of the class," she mocked her sensei's tone and advice from earlier as she stared at her two disappointments. Curious, she reached out to touch them- only for her hand to go right through and come into contact with nothing but air. They definitely appeared life-like; it seemed like something out of a surreal movie. The clones that came out actually had resembled her, but they were unstable in maintaining themselves. Their features would sometimes shift and certain parts of her clones would appear transparent sporadically. With a huff and a small nod, she dismissed her two clones. There was progress, at least. Next time she'd just take more care and slow down when creating her clones.
It took a few more tries and tweaks in her technique but slowly and surely Yuuko's clones started becoming more and more stable. The transparency issue had been fixed by controlling her chakra flow instead of just anticipating it when it came; now she just needed her clones to stay looking like her. At this point, the cicadas had started singing and her chakra was nearing her useful limit. She knew she only had one or two more tries to go before she'd have to retire for the day. She did a small stretch- extending her arms above her head from the sides and bending her body forward to clear her head again.
Getting back into position, she performed the hand signs. She felt her chakra move within her and she controlled it as she guided it out. She focused on getting her image properly conveyed. For a while, she stood holding her breath with her eyes closed, refusing to look at her clones. This was for fear of what she'd find- would they be failures again? Cautiously, she peeked one eye open, and quickly opened the other. Her mouth dropped open slightly as she looked at her two other selves.
"YES! I DID IT!" She exclaimed, almost motioning to hug her clones- before quickly remembering they weren't real. She attempted to laugh it off and raised her arms so that her hands were resting on the back of her neck. Thankfully, as far as she knew, there was no one else to judge her except herself (literally). These clones grinned back at her with her face- they had her short curly black hair; her green eyes and pale skin; and they were successfully stabilized!
As she left, practically running from the Academy grounds, she chuckled to herself; "I can't wait 'till mom and dad see this! Just in time for dinner too!".
