A Change in the Wind [Travel]

The cabin was boarded up, the door bolted and valuables hidden; Iesada was ready to go. The night before he had tossed and turned in his sleep and could not seem to find peace. At one point he was certain he was certain he heard knocking on the door of his cabin, but upon opening it found only the biting wind. So, it was in the early morning hours that Iesada decided he needed change and he set about fortifying his home for the harsh winter it would be weathering without him.

For too long he had brooded. Now he needed answers; answers reason alone could not provide. Once again he would have to travel. It had been too long.

Paying his respects at the graves of Yui and Nemu, Iesada hefted his pack over his shoulder. He carried with him naught but a few personal mementos and supplies for a week. Where was he going you might ask? Kumogakure of course. The village hidden in the clouds was naturally the first stop for answers being the closest major village to what remained of Yukiagkure.

Surely they knew what had happened to his beloved village.

Time would truly tell.

With on last glance back at the flower clad graves of his family Iesada took his first step on a journey of many.
