lightning clone training(NK)

Lightning Clone Jutsu:

Odin worked up a sweat the past few days training like a mad man.  He learned many different jutsu in a short amount of time.  He barely knew who he was back when he was an academy student.  He felt as if his former self was a pitiful lad with no muscle nor any kinda smarts at all. Now he was a full fledged ninja, his dad would be proud...

I haven't thought about my father in a long time, Odin thought to himself, frowning.  He hadn't thought much about his hometown nor his father in a long time.

His father was a renowned ninja who specialized in weaponry, ninjutsu, and genjutsu.  He was most famous for the creative uses of his weaponry and lightning clone combination.  He had even once seen his father use a chidori in conjunction with the lightning clone jutsu to dispatch several opponents at once.  That feat amazed him even after seeing his father practicing different lightning techniques over and over.  Odin even remembered the hand seals his father made for every single jutsu that his father made. 

The one jutsu that he was the most fond of was the one where his dad used a varient of a clone jutsu. His father would do a tiger seal followed by a ram seal. Almost immedietly afterwards, a puff of smoke would appear and three versions of his father would be present, each baring the striking resemblance of one another, as well as the shared knowledge and information that his dad had.  Odin knew all these clones had the same abilities and jutsu that his father had too.  On top of it all, these lightning clones had an extra ability.  When defeated, they have the ability to explode into a burst of lightning, paralyzing the opponent upon contact as well hurting the target.

He always wanted to learn that jutsu. He watched his father do the jutsu enough times to know almost every detail.  He was a kid back then and had too little jutsu to even attempt to try and make even one clone.  Even though he was a genin, he had more than enough chakra and the durability to keep the clones active.  It would be like second nature to him if he were to do the jutsu right now.

Odin noticed that he had closed his eye and had dropped his black katanas on the floor.  He was in a deep trance from the memory of his father.  Had anyone been watching him, they would think he had fallen asleep mid-walk.  He opened his eye, he walked to the side of the training grounds.He felt his body twitch,  he wasn't sure if he could learn this jutsu without walking down memory lane. 

He had no choice though.  He had to confront his inner demons in order to move on with his life.  He would look back at his father and have him help Odin with this jutsu.  He kept his focus on what his father did whenever Odin came to his training.
His attention to detail was the key to him learning this jutsu along with any other ones he planned on learning. 

He copied his ghost of a father in hand seals: Tiger then Ram.   He channeled his chakra into the jutsu he was ready to preform.  He opened his chakra channels, channeling his chakra around his chest and head. He felt the jutsu was ready and he felt his body tremble as he said the words,
"Raiton: Lightning Clone Jutsu!"

Odin felt his body tear apart as a puff of smoke filled the area.  He was now two minds instead of one.  Once the smoke cleared, both Odins stared at each other in disbelief.  The clone's face was matched with concern for the real Odin.  Clone Odin seemed to know that this was going to be harder than he thought.  The feeling was mutual for the real Odin. 

"So what do we call each other while the jutsu is active?" the clone inquired to Odin, almost knowing the answer but letting the user of the jutsu decide what to do was protocol. 
Odin stared at the other Odin for a second before answering.

Both Odin's stared at each other for a moment longer.  The clone Odin spoke before the real one got a word out, "Remember your training with Akihana.  Think back to the time you played tag with her.  Focus on that and you will master this jutsu in no time."  

Odin looked up at the sky, remenisincing about the past.  

Odin smiled as he looked at the other version of himself, "I know how to do it.  I will call each clone in numerical order.  For now, you will be One," Odin explained.  He put out a hand, ordering the One to rush off and try the second part to the jutsu.  

"Aye,"  One smiled back at Odin, knowing full well what was going to happen.  One ran past Odin, toward the target dummy.  He didn't stop while channeling lightning chakra around his right hand.  He held it to his side, the sound of chirping was heard as he rushed toward the target.  One formed a chidori in his hand as grew closer to the target dummy dead ahead.  The chidori hit it's mark, right on the dummy's mid point.   The dummy sparked and jumbled around as the chidori made a hole in it's chest.  One looked back for one final nod, just before exploding.  Lightning surrounded the area of the dummy, shocking the other dummy's close by.  The dummy that was just hit with the chidori started sparking and convulsing with electric energy.  

Odin looked shocked at the devastation of the jutsu combination he just made on the fly.  The jutsu looked just like the jutsu combination attack his father once did, all those years ago.  He closed his eye again, knowing that his father and him were slowly becoming one being.  
Odin shook his head, knowing that he will never become as ruthless as his father.  Even if he needed to be ruthless, he would never go to the lengths that his father ever did.  His father's laughter filled his head with doubt.  Odin shook his head again, but this time clearing his thoughts.
