Boredom sinking in (solo)

Goon woke up that morning, bored; he had nothing to do that as usual. So he decided to make himself some breakfast, eat and dressed in his usual outfit with a black shirt. He then raced out the door and ran through the streets of Tenga, going between the many skyscrapers all the way to the training towers. Goon choose a room that was fifty meters wall to the wall, that had several sandbags sitting in the center of the room, a few wooden training post with a few nicks in them, and a fifty meter circular track that ran along the walls of the room.

     Goon couldn’t let his boredom get to him anymore he was beginning to get antsy, he needed to get ready to take the genin exam, so he went about training by himself. He ran around the room a few times, realizing he wasn’t going to get much results out of that, he would then go over to the sandbags and tie them to his ankles so they would drag behind him. He judged the weight of the sandbags by picking one up throwing it in the air, he caught it as it came back down,“Roughly these bags weigh about twenty pounds,” he said as he set the bag back down. Goon decided now that he had the sandbag tied to his ankles that he’d run laps for a bit. He got down to sprint position and took off, even though he was going that fast, dragging about forty pounds behind him.  Goon made it around the room several times , before he slowed down and started running at a steady pace, not too fast that would cause him to get winded but also not too slow where he wouldn’t benefit from it. He would do 50 laps around the room before he would stop, and then take a short break before he would try out new fighting moves. As he catches his breath, he walks over to the post. Goon then made a fist and struck the post dead center, “Shit! That hurts!” he shouted, he looked at his fist seeing he bruised his knuckles. So he took off the shirt he was wearing and took out kunai, then cut his shirt into strips and wrapped his hands up in them. That’s better he thought as he went back to practicing moves on the post. Goon stands perpendicular to the post and lifts his right leg up and does three quick kicks to the post, stops for three seconds and does it three more times. He keeps this up for about ten minutes doing a total of a hundred kicks, without having his leg touch the ground altogether. He then switches sides doing the same exercise with his left leg another hundred times. After he finally put his left leg down, Goon started to feel the burn from working out his legs so much, “That’s enough leg workouts for now, time to do something different,” he said. He dropped down to push-up position doing ten regular push-ups, then ten diamond push-ups, and ten front clap push-ups repeating the cycles ten times doing a hundred push-ups each style. He then stayed in the starting push-up position for five minutes before his arms gave and he fell to the ground bashing his head on the floor. OW! I’m always hitting my head one way or another, he thought as he chuckled to himself, he laid there and relaxed for a good twenty minutes before he would get up and continue what he was doing. Goon stood up got into a basic boxer’s position and circled around the post striking it in different spots. He kept his feet moving, shuffling, as he struck the post, somewhere down the line of constantly hitting the post with his fist he would start to incorporate kicks alternating leg after third punch. This went on for a while he got caught up some sort of high that made it feel like he could do this forever, but Goon had forgot that he still had the sandbags tied to his ankles. It wasn’t until the sandbag on his right leg wrapped around the post, when he kicked the post, causing him to fall and hit his head yet again. As he was falling he turned around so his ‘fro would take the brunt of the impact, acting as a cushion. “Ha-ha, that’s what I get,” Goon said as leaned to untie the sandbags from his ankles. As he jumped he felt ten times lighter and faster in his mind he decided that he’d do a few more laps around the room before he would go home as it was getting late. Goon sprinted around the room for another fifty laps, moving much faster than before his hair being blown back by the wind. Goon finished his laps took a deep breath and said. “Time to go home and fall asleep.”
