Raijin's Training! (P;NK)

Yukio heard Raijin give a description of whatever was coming at them. Three dragons and one was coming for the blindfolded child "dragons!?!? what is this a fairy tale!?" He used his sense of hearing as much as he could! Everything else wasn't registering no longer! Yukio could hear the wings flapping and the dragon screeching. "Its right in front of me!!!!" Yukio remembered about what his sensei had said, sacrifice! He lunged in towards the dragon and threw three shuriken in the direction of the sounds. If the sounds still continued he'd send a punch directly in front of him. He was risking it all! "Haaaaaaah!" Will it land!?

Nero would smile at how great the boys have performed. Though he was disappointed in one of them. Yeah. It was the Inuzuka. "Raijin. Kojin." he said, "Good job. You passed the step. And Yukio... You failed... The point is not to blindly sacrifice yourself. If the Scorch was indeed powerful, your sacrifice would have occured, but also would have been meaningless, and perhaps caused your friends to get distracted by your death and cause them to be hit too. Kojin and Raijin have not sacrificed themselves just because the name of the step. And why ? Because it was not needed. All they have sacrificed was a portion of their chakra, which did enough. They could have faced the dragons themselves without needing to die. Always remember. A companion to aid you in a whole battle is better than a sacrifice. You will fall to situations you may need to sacrifice either something or someone, and perhaps yourselves. But choose them cautiously. Do not sacrifice anything for nothing.".

Nero would have kept talking. "Now. While Kojin and Raijin will be acting on Step 4; You, Yukio, will be acting on Step 3: Sacrifice. Try to understand. Your step, Kojin and Raijin, is...". Neros hands would move with a huge speed, a huge amount of scorch being created by the same speed. An instant later for the boys, the four would have been in a half-sphere of scorch. Anything but the ground was made of the advanced element. Nero's figure would then also be shrouded by the element as his final words were spoken: "Survival.". Nero wished that Yukio understood what was meant to happen, since the whole step was based on him, now that he had to repeat the third step, the sacrifice. Nero would have been transformed into scorch matter as well using the Transformation Technique. He would have moved through the walls, unable to be spotted by the Genin, as he would be heard from every corner of the huge sphere. "What is... A necessary sacrifice ?"

Nero's words had brought about a smile. Looks like he had done the right thing. Using his chakra to defeat the beast was a good idea. But Yukio didn't do so well. Maybe he didn't have any techniques to rely on; after all, he was just an Academy Student. That gave him more of a reason to do well. "Nice work Kojin! Hey, Yukio, don't let this bring your hopes down. Understand what must be done in order for you to succeed." He smiled and gave him a thumbs up. 

Step Four was the introduced. A large dome if scorch had surrounded the boys. There was so much that the inside just lit up brightly! Raijin looked around to see what they'd be dealing with. 'We'ee completely surrounded!' Then Nero became the scorch himself and entered the walls of flame. What the heck was this? "Let's all get back-to-back so that we can see a good portion of the walls. We have to raise our defenses! Yukio, sounds are coming from every direction. It is up to you if you want to continue using your sense of hearing, though I suggest taking the blindfold off now."

Kojin grinned again at Nero's praise. It made him very happy to know that he was doing well! However, he really did dislike having to use his chakra. Mostly he used it as a last resort, when there was nothing else he could. Seemed like that was the case with the dragons, huh? He heard about the next step: Survival. 'So we have to survive? I don't really understand...' he thought. He caught a bit off guard as they were surrounded in a dome of scorch. The boy did what Raijin suggested, going back-to-back with the other two ninja.

"Aw man! What are we gonna do now guys?" he asked. Sadly Kojin was clueless of this step. He just hoped he would know what to do before something bad happened...

Yukio thought he did good. Too bad he didn't. He failed the step and had to do it all again! This time things were much harder "Forgive me sensei! I will do much better! I promise!" HE felt like he let his teammates down but still kept his spirits high! That was when the scorch dome materialized all around him. Yukio started to hear things all over! Hearing was now useless. Raijin suggested that they go back 2 back so that they could cover more ground and protect each other so Yukio did just that! "OKAY! Lets do this!" He took off the blindfold and waited for the attack.

Nero chuckled (but of course it could not be seen by the other since he had used the transformation technique to become a part of the scorch release globe he has created. "Is that all ?" Nero asked, "Is that ALL ?". He came out of the scorch. He was in his own form. The scorch was not harming his body at all thanks to his DNA. "You do not get it, do you ? All was predicted. What is the trick of the magicians again ? You select your own card don't you ? No, you actually don't... It's all just a misdirection. Now, what does it have to do with this ? I'm leaving the rest of the puzzle to you.".

They may think that Raijin and Kojin succeeded ad Yukio failed for a reason, but Nero did not tell beforehand what was needed to be done, did he ? He had all the cards in his hand and put them the way he wanted to. Nero had the ability to choose who would have passed the last step, and who did not. One of them staying at step 3 was his own choice. In fact, none of them were meant to do the sacrifice for stupid reasons anyway, but Yukio was chosen as the failed one so that two of them would have been on the survival step and only one at the sacrifice. That was how sacrifices worked after all. If one is going to be sacrificed, the life of the others would have been twice as precious. They would have needed to live and win for their friend who was sacificed. They needed though, a clever way to either get out without sacrificing; or sacrifing as less ninja as possible, whose sacrifices would have been useful to the rest to survive.

The boy quickly turned his head in the direction fron which the voice came. Nero had decided to show himself and formed from the scorch. He proceeded to inform them that they a part of this game he had going on. They weren't in charge whatsoever. Raijin was extremely puzzled, raising his awareness for something out of tge ordinary. "What the!? This is just confusing Kojin. Hah. My mind is at work right now! We have to think of a way to escape. In a real situation we would have been finished."

What was needed of them? If Yukio was still stuck on Sacrifice and the other two on Survival, could he possibly fufill his role once more? He shifted his eyes to Yukio and then scanned the ground, which wasn't covered by that scorch. [i]'Hmmmm.'

Kojin had almost jumped in surprise when Nero appeared in scorch form. Key word: almost. The boy had been thinking... he could just use his shield jutsu and walk out of the scorch dome! The problem was, how was he going to get the others out a long with him? 'As long as I have time to think, I should be okay' he thought. Now about the scorch, it shouldn't be that strong to do any damage to them. And if it can't damage them, it won't be able to even scratch his electric shield! The boy had even already thought of a way the others can get out along with him...

"Hey guys, I have an idea!" he said, low enough so only the other two ninja can heard him. "But you're going to have to use an academy jutsu."

Yukio looked at nero then raijin. He wondered why he had failed the sacrifice Portion of his training and still try to keep his head in the game "okay guys what now?" He heard kojin mention something about a plan. So he leaned in and listened to the whispers. "Whatever you have planned it better be good. Cause we are looking pretty screwed right now!!!"

[Yukio. Don't metagame. Yes ik you're all set OOC about using transformation so kojin takes you into the shield and shit, but IC, there has been no talk about transformation jutsu, and all that is posted is all that has occured. it's not like kojin whispered the plan into your ear; he only said that you'd ned to use an academy technique. And you did not tell what you transformed into either. So please edit your post.]
