Kaori entered her room, closed the door and leaned against it. Phew, it worked again - she managed to escape her uncle by lying about a training session. Surprisingly it was right under the noses of her family, the entrance was in her bedroom. Finding a secret lever behind her nightstand the girl released the lock on the trapdoor under her bed, which would otherwise remain unnoticeably hidden. There she would find a ladder that led into a natural cavern that just happened to be below her house. It was all set up in there. Of course she would close the doors behind her so nobody found it while she was actually in there. Making step sounds in the dark the girl would fumble until she found the step. Focusing some of the fire nature chakra into her fingers she would light the candle and then another one. There it all was, her research equipment, the strange liquids and everything else people would not like to see. Opening a small bottle the girl dropped in a pair of black colored eyes in. Those previously belonged to Hisao Uchiha, a boy from Konoha. She also put two tubes full of his blood into a tube stand on the table. Was there something else she had missed? Probably not, the tooth the boy had with him had no practical value for her, nor did the goggles so she let them rest in a box nearby. And the she would open the book of wonders - the study of KKG and their connection to DNA, a masterpiece of a famous medical ninja from Tengakure. The girl would spend hours reading through that book, the subject was extremely interesting to her...
