Mountain Fun [P,NK] - Page 2 Empty Re: Mountain Fun [P,NK]

Fri Jul 05, 2013 7:25 pm
Inijo watched as Souji seemed to be doing some basic exercises, or perhaps warming up for his training. Souji then began to describe the beast that he had fought. It was apparently large, as mentioned before. It was also furry, to the point to where it's face could not be seen. What color of fur? Inijo wondered, and automatically assumed brown.. Souji continued describing it, saying that it had arms like tree trunks. This had indeed surprised Inijo, it would mean that the beast probably had a large amount of strength, though due to being so big it may be low in speed. Then again, as Inijo was once told, looks can be deceiving. Never judge a book by it's cover, and then some. Souji continued by saying that it wasn't necessarily a wound from the beast, but a bad landing which had screwed his arm over. "Interesting." He said, slightly amazed by the details of the beast, even though he wasn't told the species. Then again, Inijo was having trouble deducing what species this was from pure detail alone.

After that, the spar had apparently begun. He watched as Souji adjusted himself to be both five meters away from both Inijo and Tee, but also he had made a defensive stand to only show both Inijo and Tee the right side of his body, thus protecting the rest supposedly. Tee did slightly the same, he had jumped up in a tree and had prepared himself. Though surprisingly he had remained five meters away from Souji and Inijo. Besides getting into a stance, Souji himself didn't do much. Tee however did a bit, Inijo watched him as he summoned a clone. Inijo felt as if he was familiar with the technique tee had used. Of course he was, after all, Inijo had figured he had the same technique that Tee had just used. It was the shadow clone technique, a rather basic jutsu, however not as basic as the clone technique, the E ranking one. The shadow clone was capable of physical combat, while as the clone technique itself wasn't. The clone technique simply produced an illusion, while this, the shadow clone technique, produced a solid clone of the user. Another thing the shadow clone could do was use jutsu. Luckily, though, the clone appeared to want to battle Souji. Something.. was weird though. It had an aura, quite similar to lightning.. if not exactly like it. Quite strange indeed.. perhaps he didn't have this technique. Inijo focused back on tee, who was about to throw a Kunai. Once thrown, it moved somewhat fast, but Inijo was faster. Without using his full speed, he dodged the Kunai knife, by simply stepping to the right a foot, though just barely. He then held up a single hand sign, his fingers crossed together. "Right then, I figured we were just using taijutsu... but meh, I guess.." He said, as his shadow clone charged for Tee. Inijo himself jumped back ten meters from his original position, thus gaining range between himself, and his opponents.

Souji felt a wave of excitement running through him at the prospect of this three-way fight. He hadn't had a spar like this in....ever! He always had to fight someone 'on his skill level' as dictated by the Chunnin that took care of both the academy students and the Genin. This was finally a time where he could let loose and show off what little skill he did have as a starting Genin. He loosened up his stance a little bit, not wanting to be too rigid as if he was too rigid, it would be quite hard to dodge attacks he could not block. He kept his eyes on Tee, finding him to be the most prevalent enemy in this fight, especially since he had enacted the first attack. The kunai was nothing too bad. He just shifted his stance to move out of the direct line of fire of the kunai, barely getting a scratch on him as he kept his line of sight on Tee and his clone. watching the clone approach him as he loosened his stance a bit more to be able to combat this clone.

He was by no means a dumb ninja. He knew that if he tried to take on that electrically charged clone, he would be in quite a world of hurt. He had learned the bite of lightning type ninjutsu from his own experiences with learning how to deal with it, not wanting to have to make the same mistakes twice and shock himself, as well as leaving himself in a rather bad position for his partner in sparring to strike a 'finishing blow'. He saw the two upperclassmen make clones, the young genin making a clone, albeit one that was an illusion. He didn't have solid clones like Tee did, but they would have to manage for a distraction. He sent the clone after Tee, trying to keep his eye off of him before he started to do his best to get ready for the flurry of jutsu and blows that were probably gonna wreak havoc on him. He needed to make a quick plan of action on what he was going to do in this situation. He had no tools on him, a finite amount of chakra, probably less than both of the opponents before him, especially going off of Tee's lightning shrouded clone. The kunai that had missed him may prove itself handy later, if the time arrived where he needed it.

Mountain Fun [P,NK] - Page 2 Empty Re: Mountain Fun [P,NK]

Inijo would watch as Tee's clone would use the same technique to speed up itself, the same one Tee had used. Studying it, it seemed to require a single hand seal, which made it dangerous. However, the clone didn't seem to attack while it was in a rather blurry state of speed.. Perhaps the hand seal had to be held? It's a question worth asking after the spar.. Or at least researching later. The jutsu had gotten Inijo insanely interested.. what with being capable of speeding up the user to where they have incredible speeds.. He sighed, as he saw the clone reappearing behind Souji. Inijo focused back at Tee, who hadn't minded Inijo's clone, in fact he may have not even noticed the creation of it, due to him seemingly being focused on how Souji was doing with his own clone, when Inijo noticed he had just looked back at him.. Tee indeed didn't notice the creation of Inijo's shadow clone, which was making an attempt to punch him in the face, of course not at full strength, however enough to knock him off the very branch he stood on. With luck, Tee would be too caught up either falling backwards or dealing with the clone to notice Inijo charging forward in the clone's shadow, performing a small set of hand seals. He had moved fourteen meters forward, before he stood still and began to sink in the ground. Whether or not Souji saw didn't necessarily matter. Inijo was completely silent while performing a few necessary hand seals, and while charging forward.

Inijo may have just played his triumph card a little early in the game, however it may be useful considering Tee's current skill of being capable of moving at high speeds.. He needed to take Tee out. If he needed to, he could combat Souji through the use of Shadow clones and taijutsu, and perhaps a few other combinations as well. This was turning into quite the marvelous spar.. though he hasn't seen anything new from Tee, besides a shadow clone with an odd aura, he was simply repeating the use of his strange technique which boosted his speed, and taijutsu.. The clone could clearly present some damage, otherwise it wouldn't have an electrifying aura.. Souji may be in trouble with that. Speaking of Souji, Inijo took notice that he hadn't used a single jutsu, let alone move, other than loosening his battle stance and getting into one.. was he hiding true skill, or was he that new? Either way, Inijo would need to remain cautious of Souji just in case. Inijo began to move forward a meter, underneath the ground.

Mountain Fun [P,NK] - Page 2 Empty Re: Mountain Fun [P,NK]

Souji wasn't expecting the clone to be able to use that quickening techinque again. Then again, it did seem like a high-level cloning technique, which made him feel a bit dumb that he did not anticipate that the clone could do it. In either case, the quickness of the clone and the quickness of the kick left him little room to do an attack. His vision blurred for a second, being sent flying for a moment, the young ninja managing to get his shit together really quickly before he hit the ground on his bad arm. He flipped in mid-air, the visible movements of him doing hand-signs as he got his equilibrium back being shown as he landed, skidding gently. The young genin got down low, bending his knees and pointing his hand out towards Tee. His hand already surged with lightning imbued chakra. He said nothing as he fired it, feeling quite a big drain on his chakra stores. His hand also burned a bit from the backlash of the cannon-like blast of lightning, aimed right at the body of Tee. If it didn't hit, some of the aura of the lightning would at least cause a small fire on the tree that he was on, causing that tree to be unusable due to the fire.

Souji panted a bit, a visible aura of lightning forming around his body as he stopped trying to draw this out and went all out as he said he would, the aura forming a shield of kinds around his body. He turned to the clone and got back in his fighting position, dashing at the clone with fury in his now 'white' eyes, small fangs in his mouth as he punched hard at the clone. He stomped hard on the ground, cracking the ground under him from the power of the stomp. The recoil of the stomp was turned into power as he started to punch, making the force circle up through his hips, spread out and concentrate through his midsection, linking and concentrating its power to his shoulder, and link with the power of his muscles to form a powerful, quick straight punch with his right hand, towards its face, followed by a powerful front snap kick towards the clone's solar plexus in case the punch did not do the trick. Even though his head hurt and he was quite a bit drained of chakra, he didn't want to go down like a loser. He had not paid a bit of attention to Inijo, his focus on the smug-looking Tee and his clone that had hurt him. Though...something about Souji had changed. The air around him rippled, not with the power of his chakra, but by the power of something else. His eyes were not usually white at all either, and he gave off a bit of an intimidating presence as well. The mark on his right arm burned quite a bit as well, causing the young ninja visible discomfort as he forced back down whatever wanted to come up. The feeling felt...sickening. Like something was trying to crawl up and control him. He fought it back down, however, using his will to keep focus on the fight as well as keep whatever was trying its best to do...something to him.

Mountain Fun [P,NK] - Page 2 Empty Re: Mountain Fun [P,NK]

Sun Jul 07, 2013 5:11 pm
Inijo had moved fifteen meters from where he had once was, though underground. With what little luck he had, apparently no one had noticed Inijo's clone being created... However, his clone wasn't all too lucky with his attack. No matter, though. Upon seeing the creation of the shield, the one which seemingly popped out of no where.. The shield had been used to attack the clone, in a way. It had prevented the clone from attacking, only by pushing it back fifteen meters, though. The clone noticed the fire, and wondered if Tee had noticed. Apparently he did, because he jumped off towards the direction of the underground Inijo.. Unfortunately, the original had no way of knowing this due to him only being able to notice things on the surface of the earth, and he would only notice when Tee touched the ground. Though unfortunately that timing may be too late. Knowing this, the clone disappeared, transferring the memories of the clone to the original Inijo. When Inijo learned that Tee had just jumped down, he began to perform a small set of handseals. Once finished, he would know Tee was above ground due to his Hiding Like a Mole technique's abilities. He would attempt to grab Tee's ankle, now. Tee wouldn't know about this, so it was unlikely that he would be capable of dodging, what with no where else to go in order to get to higher land, what with the only thing nearby being a tree which was now burning. And then there may be the fact that he may think Inijo is simply hiding above ground, as unless Tee has ever seen either the jutsu Inijo had just used, or hiding like a mole technique, it would be unlikely that he would even think of looking under the ground. If successful, he would pull Tee under the ground, and he would be unable to move anything but his head.

Inijo hadn't minded Souji so far, but due to the fact that Souji didn't seem to see anything, he still had his triumph card for later. Then again, he hardly knew anything about Souji, so his finisher may not even be that effective.

Mountain Fun [P,NK] - Page 2 Empty Re: Mountain Fun [P,NK]

Souji had no idea what made him punch the lightning clone. He just had an inexplicable moment of blind rage in which his emotions got the best of him: A deadly thing for a young ninja. He was clearly outmatched at the moment, due to the range of jutsus in which Tee knew and his own lack of experience showing, the young genin growling in rage. His muscles flexed and bulged in his back, right around the shoulder bones. He couldn't move, but he felt the pain as something shifted under his skin, another drain on his chakra stores happening...yet he didn't seem to physically feel it. Through his flesh, chainmail, and shirt burst two ebony feathered wings, spewing darkened chakra from their formation. He looked in visible pain as a third eye opened on his forehead, looking more like a jewel than an eye, the eye unblinking and opening vertically, rather than horizontally. The small fangs grew into long, curved, sickly looking fangs, the milky white eyes having a certain luminescence to them. He was still unable to move, though the demonic changes were becoming prevalent on his features. From his forehead arose two silver bone-like horns, energy dripping from them in the form of crimson lightning-auras, his body emanating the same aura. He stood there, waging a battle on both his physical and mental planes. He let out an air-splitting roar of both fury and pain as the transformation completed, the air shivering around him.

In his mind he was having quite the battle. With no need for ninjutsu, he was battling it out with his demonic form, trading blow after blow with the demonic entity within him. It was purely Taijutsu now, the demon using a variation of the martial arts style that his grandmother had taught him, which was his family's unique style of unarmed combat: Heaven's Path (Tendou) Martial Arts. The demon was more ferocious with his attacks though and a lot more offensive. Instead of the passive offense followed by solid blows that the Tendou style was supposed to have, the demonic entity has fast and furious blows, though the techniques that it did and its footwork were reminiscent of his style. He grunted in pain, feeling a blow to his chest followed by a jolt, his nerves jumping as a bit of lightning went through his form: an aftereffect of the lightning clone's lightning on his consciousness. He stepped into the next punch his other half threw at him, disrupting the flow of power and causing the force to recoil back doubly on its hand, causing it to roar in pain. If it wasn't hurting too much then, it would be after the swift, savage roundhouse kick he gave to the entity's skull. It went recoiling back, but Souji wouldn't let this moment pass him up. He gave another savage kick to the entity's ribs, the demon growling and grabbing the young man's leg. Bad idea.

It threw him around like a rag doll, visible bruises appearing on his physical form on where he landed, large splotches of black and blue on his as his body stood there, still paralyzed by the lightning, though he seemed to be calming down bit by bit. The demonic features were still there, yet the air was not shivering as much as it was before. He seemed to be getting in control of himself, bit by bit. He muttered something in an unknown language, his chakra flaring around his wings in the form of blue lightning.

In his mind, however, he was still waging war with the demon, blow after blow being landed on his form and on the demon's form, both of them battered and bloodied, yet only Souji was winded. He and the demon had gone at it for what felt like an hour. His body was covered in an array of clawmarks, bruises, and various other scratches and bodily harm. He panted, a mixture of blood, tears, and sweat moving down his face, a rather bad cut formed from an open-palm strike and a claw-like strike across his face that he just barely managed to dodge. If he didn't dodge, he would have really been feeling it right about now. His vision was slightly obscured as they had fought each other to a standstill. The demon had not gotten away with everything in-tact. It's left arm was bent in the completely wrong direction and a rib poked from its flesh, yet it didn't seem phased by its injuries. Well, he had to admit, it was a construct of his mind, so he guessed it wouldn't show damage.

The demon smirked a bit, dashing at Souji once again. A defensive stance was taken up by the young genin. Suddenly, the demon had disappeared from sight, as if he teleported. This felt eeriely reminiscent of what had happened earlier. So much so that he had turned around for a spinning backfist. He felt his fist connect with flesh and bone as his vision finally got his target in its sights, the demon having tried to attack him from behind like Tee did. It had worked once, but it would not work again. Even if he couldn't see his enemy, he had a pretty good clue of where they would strike in the event that they went 'invisible' like that. The demon flew back about three meters, glancing along the ground then rolling back into a starting position, standing and finally speaking to the young genin.

"Come back to your mind when you are stronger...at that time, I will fight you with all that I have. And if you prove worthy, my power shall be yours...but if not." He said with a voracious grin. "This body will be mine."

Souji's eyes turned a milky shade of blue, the demonic features staying but an actual personality being in control of the once staring shell. He had noticed new feelings in his body, such as the new nerves that connected his wings to his back as well as well as the horns that protruded from his skull. He had quite the splitting headache and his vision was blurred. His body felt a bit sore and tingly, not just from the paralysis. Something in him felt odd too. He didn't have that wave of nausea or whatever it was anymore...and just what was that thing inside of his head that he just fought. There were so many unanswered questions. But for right now, he had to focus on the fight between Tee and Inijo..since he couldn't do much now.

Mountain Fun [P,NK] - Page 2 Empty Re: Mountain Fun [P,NK]

Mon Jul 08, 2013 5:00 pm
Inijo lifted his head out from under the ground when he grabbed a hold of Tee's ankle. He saw as the boy began to take out a Kunai, supposedly to cut Inijo's hand. What was he doing? Seemed to be hostile intentions.. sure, cutting his wrist could kill him, but what about his hand? He didn't know, he was never taught anything on being a doctor, so he didn't risk it. He pulled his hand away, and jumped back out of the ground, out of the range of the boy's lightning technique, which appeared in his hand. There was a sound of birds chirping, hundreds or thousands of them. It was strange too, because this wasn't exactly the area for birds, these were the mountains, not some forests where birds could sing happily as they hunted for their prey on the ground. The sound seemed to be emitted by the jutsu Tee had cast. What was that technique? It was strange indeed, though seemed effective when the boy had hit the ground with it. Was he aiming to kill?..

Inijo looked over at Souji for a brief second when Tee decided to jump back an extra five meters for extra distance. Inijo didn't blame him, what with each other knowing nothing but one another, sparring up close may be dangerous. This boy's jutsu had proved that, with the ability to crush the earth.. and possibly damage the actual target quite a bit. What Inijo had seen when he had looked at Souji had shocked him. The boy had.. transformed? Was this the work of Henge No Jutsu? It would have been useless to randomly use it for an appearance change.. why did he transform? Then again, he was assuming that the boy had transformed, and this wasn't the work of some other jutsu. Or hell, was this the boy's true form? Possible.. Unlikely, though possible. The boy had the appearance of a demon... horn's forming off Souji's forehead, and then he had wings.. could he operate them though? Could he fly with them? Unlikely, considering the weight of the average human, even the size of those wings seemed unlikely to support the boy's weight, though he was assuming again. He was assuming the boy was human, too. Not just his weight. What was this? Inijo was becoming slightly more fascinated with each moment of this spar.. Sure Tee had quite the few surprises, but Souji's transformation just.. was more effective when it came to surprising Inijo. Something else was wrong, though.. what was Inijo originally going to check up on?.. Ah yes.. how was Souji doing against the clone? It was strange, Inijo couldn't see it anywhere. Had Souji defeated it? Or maybe Tee had recalled it? But then again, Souji wasn't moving.. was this the effect of the clone? It seemed to have paralyzed him.. but for how long, he wondered?

He looked back at Tee, and began to think. He formed a single hand seal, he crossed his finger, and summoned an extra clone to aid him against Tee, who seemed to be quite effective when it came to strategising against a surprise attack.. He summoned an extra one, as he held his hand seal. With that, he took note of the distance between him and his opponents. He was fifteen meters away from Souji, and ten meters from Tee. He would now wait for one of the two to do something, though he could be using this time to attack Souji.. he didn't see that fair, especially since this seemed to be a spar and not a death match, where one would need to take advantage of every opportunity they got.
