Training in the caves (Private, no kill)

{I would have called it out had Kaim been actually trying to kill Hirako. However, I figured due to Kaim's last couple lines that this was not the case:

Activating his byakugan eyes kaim aim the katana for the young boy spinal cord if this was to work, Hirako will be on the ground paralyzed. but kaim did it a little slow for the boy so he could dodge

Had it been Kaim's intent to kill Hirako would he have added the dodging part in there? Kaim could have very easily moved at speeds much faster than Hirako could move at and simply cut him down without a second thought. As for the paralysis detail: I assumed that Kaim was merely detailing what may happen were Hirako to not dodge his sword strike that he specifically mentioned was moving slow enough for Hirako to dodge.}
